Creeping and old is right!
Your turn, Val.
*As I read that quote in the book, I realized that I really liked it. I like the end, where Faramir says "Until that time, or some other time beyond the vision
of the seeing-stones of Numenor, farewell!" The Seeing-stones were sort of like their all-knowing things, but he acknowledges that there is a possibility of times and things that they can't see, or that they won't be around to see. It's very perceptive of him, I think.

Good job. Just an editorial comment here. Feanor's "wisdom" was once again proved foolish by his pride. Those he left behind were not "needless baggage" but rather they could have helped him deal Morgoth a defeat that would have changed history for thousands of years.

As far as I can see, there isn't even the word "of" in the entire quote, let alone the fourth line!

I edited away an "of" there, possibly after Rinkë had read it - I've done some unfortunate editing before, so it could be that. I should stop doing that altogether. I could put it back to explain for later ...

The last, '/_i_l_i_/', is a regular word, but Beorn is using it a bit tongue-in-cheek. It's a description, not a name, and you wouldn't usually say it about a person.

neither had my secret thought conceived the snowflake,
