You know you are obsessed if you think LOTR is real.
But... It really happened. And Middle Earth does exist.

Of course Middle Earth exists... in the minds and hearts of every fan if nowhere else...

PS. I live there too.

oh, another you know you're obsesessed....

You know you're obsessed when your friend gives you UT for Christmas and writes in the front to come back to Earth once in a while and you protest--LOUDLY-- that you are in Earth. Middle Earth. And have no intention of leaving it.

I hear crows all the time.... And the other night I was trying to sleep and kept hearing cackling chickens in my head. (D'ye think that's a bad sign? :( :) )

Um, obsessed... if you talk in Gollum's voice (or whatever you perceive Gollum's voice to be) while working. I have a friend that does this all the time--he works for a siding company and amuses his co-workers with his uncanny Serkis/Gollum impression.

My husband does that quite often, and he is not near the fan I am....do you think I'm rubbing off on him?

Oh, I have another one.... (this is something I say :o )....

When a new movie comes out starring any actor/actress from LOTR you say you have to see it because, "I have to support my people!".

don't laugh at me.... :(

Rosie Gamgee
07-21-2005, 10:29 AM
I'm not laughing. That's the reason I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean the first time. And one of the reasons I saw Hidalgo. And why I checked out The Goonies... LOL. I'm probably weirder than you are. :D

tolkienfan

You're driving in your car listening to Auron's theme from Final Fantasy X. You're totally digging it, and you think to yourself, "I like Aragorn's theme." (You realize what you did and immediately think of this thread.) Later, when you're thinking of Auron, you think to yourself, "Auron is gotta be the coolest member of the fellowship."
