If you think about it, I've been a bit slow. Those 9 were done over 3 weeks; not once a day like before. Regarding Beatles songs, I think I just about ran out. BoP and f.b.-b. know more songs by them than I do. Maybe you can ask them for the others or post a request here. :)

ok, i was trying to come up with a sensible reply to this, but when I tried to dissect the songwriting process I realized that I don't really know how i come up with songs.... it's usually past my bedtime. I think the idea comes first.... and then I write some lyrics, and start singing them to random songs until I find one that fits. then the rest of the lyrics kinda mold themselves around the song I've chosen to borrow. i'd be curious to know how other people create their songs, too, because everyone's come up with some really great ones! :D

i also want to write my own melodies, but of course there's no way to transmit them via this medium. unless.... i don't suppose you guys know how to read tablature? that would take up a LOT of space, I spose. never mind.
