durinsbane2244
05-08-2006, 08:20 PM

Elanor's Angel
05-08-2006, 08:22 PM
I know! Time turner? Or was it something more random like Mr. Clockidy?

durinsbane2244
05-09-2006, 09:22 PM
no, no...it was something that was completely contrived for the movie...and yes, i know, that is hard to believe-invent something? in a harry potter movie? never! but yes...page 394...

Elanor's Angel
05-09-2006, 09:34 PM
I don't exactly have a copy of the book with me... Firebolt?

Ireth
05-10-2006, 01:06 AM

the enchanted record player? (I can't remember if it was actually in the book...) Wait... it was in the movie, and not in the book... but it was on page 300 something???

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 07:40 PM
look, it was in the film...the emphasis on being in the film and NOT in the book...

Elanor's Angel
05-10-2006, 07:42 PM
The fountain?

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 07:44 PM

Elanor's Angel
05-10-2006, 07:51 PM

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 07:52 PM
no no no, not page 394, the line...page three-hundred and ninety-four...[in a cool, low, debonair {sp?} voice]

Elanor's Angel
05-10-2006, 07:54 PM

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 08:34 PM

Elanor's Angel
05-10-2006, 08:42 PM

(6. the chair...)

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 08:45 PM
ah, ok than...soooo...was it the first task?

Elanor's Angel
05-10-2006, 08:47 PM

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 08:49 PM

Elanor's Angel
05-10-2006, 08:51 PM

Elanor's Angel
05-10-2006, 08:57 PM
Not the event I'm looking for.

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 09:00 PM
hm...well, if you said that's not the event, than i guess that's the right night, so...barty crouch steals ingrediants from snape, and gets the marauder's map from harry?

Elanor's Angel
05-10-2006, 09:02 PM
don't assume. and no.

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 09:10 PM

durinsbane2244
05-10-2006, 09:22 PM

Lockheart, and... Broderick?

E, LoR
05-12-2006, 12:29 PM

Elanor's Angel
05-12-2006, 12:36 PM
I think the guy who was strangled was broderick...

Spock
05-12-2006, 02:41 PM
Lockheart, and... Broderick?

Good enough. I wanted the full name but didn't state it.

E, LoR
05-14-2006, 08:17 PM

E, LoR
05-14-2006, 08:22 PM

Elanor's Angel
05-14-2006, 10:30 PM

Elanor's Angel
05-14-2006, 10:54 PM
I don't like myself when I'm mad...
*Sigh*

E, LoR
05-15-2006, 08:14 AM
not surprising. psychos with knives are kind of ... freaky. unless they;re killing the rule. which I could do with right now.

why doesn't some one just ask a question... before db, elanors and I get too spammy :p

Spock
05-15-2006, 11:23 AM
House elf, in charge of hiding barty crouch Jr.
Is that what your looking for?

Actually she was in charge of keeping an eye on him and making sure he didn't go out but you got the connection right.

YUGO! :p

Spock
05-15-2006, 11:27 AM
A REMINDER TO OLD MOOTERS AND FYI TO NEW ONES.

You must allow time for the questioner to verify the answer and pass the question to the correct party.

Not everyone lives on the internet and so this normally takes a day or two.

Elanor's Angel
05-15-2006, 06:18 PM
I know. I waited!
Who said this-
“Oh, come on. You heard them, just behind the veil, didn’t you? They were just lurking out of sight, that’s all. You heard them.”

E, LoR
05-15-2006, 07:47 PM

E, LoR
05-22-2006, 08:13 AM

05-22-2006, 08:22 AM
oh well. like I said, never read Robin Hood anyway.

Spock
05-22-2006, 08:24 AM
Hoping someone does get it. If it proves too difficult for todays non-reading public, I'll change it. Let's give it a couple of days though. We do have some readers here on the Moot. :D

E, LoR
05-22-2006, 08:27 AM
lol :D db will probably get it.

durinsbane2244
05-22-2006, 01:26 PM
well...let's see...this probably isn't what you're thinking of, but! robin hood makes an appearence in the once and future king, which also includes merlin, who is mentioned in harry potter....long shot, that...can we get a nudge in the right direction here?

Spock
05-22-2006, 04:10 PM
Hey, silly, read the question. :)

durinsbane2244
05-22-2006, 09:12 PM

YES!!!!!!

than again, this is probably wrong too, BUT!!!! dobby!!! many pagan religions believe that robin hood was a pagan god or fairie, derived from the character of puck, most notably used in "a midsummer night's dream", by everyone's favorite bard, billy shakes. anyway, dobby is clearly based on a hobgoblin, and is believed to be based on puck as well. so. you said books ABOUT them. this is where i found it. please be right...and hey, man, i put forth effort! EFFORT!
