witches, wizards and Hobbits?

When Rose finally awakened, she was in the Hospital Wing again, feeling as though she'd fought the battle of her life. What had happened? She'd dreamed she fought with a Dark figure, a rider, dressed in black. He was pushing her back, into some terrible land; where, she did not know. A-a Ringwraith? Legolas had told her about them, it might have explained why she'd dreamed about one. But no. It went deeper than that, much deeper, and it scarer her. Whatever she'd fought with, it hadn't had quite the same feel as the voice. Oh, both felt evil, all right, and powerful, yet they felt, well ... as if they were from different worlds. Rose sat up with a moan, blinking. Dumbledore was with her. Rose decided to ask him what was going on. "What happened to me back there?"

[Aeryn]

Snape returned to Dumbledore's office. "Now come with me!" he yelled.

Arriana didn't argue, she looked forlornly at the now quizzical bird.

They passed many classrooms, students with wands waving them about and the like...Why hadn't she gone to class?

They finally made it to Snape's creepy dungeon office. He sighed, "What exactly were you and Rose doing in the Forest?"

Dumbledore explained to Rose, as gently as possible, what had happened when she and Nott were in his office.
Rose was absolutely mortified, and horrified at the same time. Tears filled her eyes. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt anyone, I--" With a wave of his hand, Dumbledore cut her off and gave her a kindly smile.
"I know you didn't. But now is not the time to speak of such things. Just tell me, Rose, what were you and Arriana doing in the Forbidden Forest?"

ooc: Bet we get two different explanations! :p

ooc: Ok I am almost lost now.:confused:

ic: I returned to my bed with a shocked look on my cut up face. Did I just see Rose running into the Forbidin forest with the... Fellowship?
But they don't exist. Do they?
Cody rested in the white Hospital wing bed and drew her curtains for more privacy.
Then about an hour later she was awoken by dark words that loudly filled her head. They were dark words only muttered in her darkest dreams. words of Mordor. Cody sniffed the air and could smell danger even closer then the night before. The words made her shutter and gave a sense of forbidding. Who had said them?
Then at that moment the doors of the hosptal wing opend and Cody could here the name Rose being said. Cody slowely peered out from her curtains and found her friend in the bed next to her loking pail and scared. Dumbledore was next to her with the same but milder expresion on his face. Rose explained to him about what happend in the forest and Cody listand entintavely(sp)

Dumbledore left the room after words of comfort and told Rose to rest. Rose nodded and watched as the headmaster left the room.
As soon as the door closed I caught Rose's attention and smiled a thankyou to her for the event in the woods. She smiled back. She told me about Nott and the fellowship. I had read that book I explained and I loved it.

"I was in detention with Arriana Nott when I-we-felt something evil coming. I said we had to get out of their, as we'd be in terrible danger if we stayed. So Nott sent the House Elves to you, sir, and we left." Odd that that Slytherin girl had even remembered them. "We ran into Cody and I, well, I don't know quite what happened, but apparently I ran into the Forbidden Forest, and Cody and Nott followed me, and Cody, ah..." Surely he knew about Cody! "Turned into a werewolf." She proceeded to tell him the rest of the story of her trips into the Forest, how she'd met the Fellowship, why she'd gone back, and how she'd encountered Nott there and gotten into a fight.
"Thank you, Rose." Dumbledore smiled, a twinkle in his eyes. "And I believe you will find that there is more to Arriana than what you have seen. Rose," his expression grew more serious, "has Arriana used her wand yet?"
Rose thought back, trying to remember. "I don't think so. If she did I don't remember."
"This is indeed a grave matter. Until the teachers can take a look at it, Arriana Nott must never use that wand." Seeing Rose's worried look, he smiled again. "Don't let it trouble you, Rose. I believe Professor Snape is taking care of the situation. As for you, you should rest for now, then rejoin your friends in Gryffindor. I believe it will do you much good."

ic:*though I never outwardly heard the dark language, the writing on the Ring, I heard it inwardly, and that is when I knew that I was in grave danger there, more danger perhaps than I could possibly be if I where fighting a drove of dragons! I clutched my head, tring to drive the words out of my head. They kept repeating themselves, over and over, and I could feel the utter pain that accompanied them. The Ring, where was it! where was it! I began to pat all my pockets, temproarely forgetting it was on the chain. I couldn't find it! I reached up and felt it on the chain, but it was hot! I looked down at it and saw it as I had never before seen it, not a Ring of power, but a Ring of Fire! My head hurt, o so badly*

Arriana began fidgetting, "Well I...we...I..." She sounded terrible she knew. and Snape's eyes boring inot her skull was NOT helping...She exploded, feeling quite hurt, "I dont know WHAT I did, YOU PUNISH ME! You are so unfair! I am a house member! You should at least LISTEN to me! But you are a traitor! You care more about that stupid Gallaghan...No not just her POTTER You care alot about POTTER TOO!"

She immediately knew she went too far...

*Pippin, who being left behind and growning hungry was walking around looking for the kitchen. He heard shouting, something about a gardener? She had said potter. He shruged and continued his search.*

ooc: Sorry i had to say SOMETHING about that name!

Snape turned white, then red, then deep purple. His whisper was worse than her screaming, "Don't you ever claim I am a traitor." he said.

Arriana was nonplussed, "Well you are one way or another...aren't you?" She said, a snotty air to her now. She was of course speak about him becoming a death eater and then spying for Dumbledore.

Snape seemed unscathed, "I understand that you have had...problems...and that I am a little remiss about punishing you so swiftly. But you never speak of a teacher...let alone your head of house in such a manner, ESPECIALLY to his face. I am sorry to say I will be owling your father in the morning. Leave."

And that was the end. Arriana put on her hard shell and left making her way to the Great Hall for a late lunch.

Frodo: *I just couldn't take it anymore! I slipped the Ring on and started running toward the door, not watching where I was going when SMACK I ran into...*

Arriana was suddenly flung to the floor, someone had run into her. Just as she was getting up, she saw a tiny figure, with big hairy feet, just like the ones she saw with the Fellowship, but this one she didn't remember.

"You should watch out, there are motion sensors around here, if your invisible they know it, but if school hours are on, they'll think you are just a stray." She commented.

*I stared at her blankly. Whatever I thought and put the Ring back on and kept running. This time though...*

*I was ran into by a certain creature, while entering the school.* What is this? Show yerself before I use a more powerful magic then ever you can think of, one not taught here.

*I picked myself up again, and glared at her for a minute though i knew she could not see me. I tried to run off again, but...*

Rose had finally gotten out of the Hospital Wing again, just in time for lunch. As she was eating, talking with her fellow students and trying to pretend this was a normal day, she saw Arriana Nott run into Frodo. Oh no. Not again! She sighed and walked over to Frodo and the Slytherin girl. And then Frodo disappeared.

[Aeryn]

Arriana rolled her eyes, "Well, I guess you and all your little Gryffindor girl pals have gotten what you wanted." She sighed.

[Silverstripe]

"What are you talking about?" asked Rose. "I saw Frodo out here and then, well, didn't see him, and I wanted to know why." She sighed, then proceeded with what she didn't want to say -- and what her consience demanded that she DID say. "I'm sorry about what happened earlier, I really didn't mean to hurt you."

[Aeryn]

Arriana continueing to be sullen, "Don't worry, it won't matter, Snape is contacting My father, he'll probably beat--" She stopped her eyes went wide. "Er--I mean--He'll probably try to beat Snape..yeah.." she sighed, "Anyway you won't have to put up with me, I'm being expelled."

[Silverstripe]

"What?! But why? You didn't do anything I didn't do, at least I don't think you did. I mean that hex and your trying to beat me up may have saved--" Rose broke off abruptly. No, no time to go into the dream with the Ringwraith now, or how she'd known something was wrong. "Anyway, you shouldn't be expelled!" Rose was surprised by how angry the thought made her. She'd always thought she would be happy to see Nott go!

[Silverstripe]

"Look, I'm going to speak to Snape about this, we both know he shouldn't be too hard to convince, you are a Slytherin after all! And I'm sure Dumbledore doesn't really want to expel anyone, either." Rose began to march off without giving Nott a chance to say another word. Why aren't I happy about this? thought Rose. Maybe because, in a way, the Slytherin girl might've saved her life? Right, I'll speak to Snape, either Nott won't get expelled or we both will. Most likely the latter.

ic: Aragorn:We were seated at a table to eat some lunch. We were joined by an odd greasy haired man who took great interest in us. Very suspicious. I thought to myself. I looked around to the ringbearer and found that he had gone.
I got up and told Legolas who jolted from his fasinationj with the cailing and looked at me with fear pasted on his fare face. The black haired one who called himself Snape overheard our conversation and told us he could lead us through passages to find Frodo. Not only was Frodo missing but it also seemed that Sam had followed. The other two hobbits were chattering non stope with some other students who seemed to have taken a great interest in their appearence.

ic:Cody: I was let out of the hospital wing and I searched the castle for Rose. "Where could she have possibly have gone?' I muttered to myself.
I wanted to know what the fellowship was doing in our world. How did they get here and were was Gandalf?
I followed the passage way towards the dungeons and bumped(sp) into a small student. Waot a minute. This was not a student. It was a hobbit.
"Sam?" I said out loud.
The hobbit looked at me suspiciously then spoke slowely.
"Since you seem to know me do you know were I may find another hobbit named Frodo?"
I shook my head."Sorry"
Then I posed the same question if he had seen Rose (Or the girl he was with earlier) He gave me the same motion and walked off.
"Hey wait a minute you can't just walk the halls of this school."
"And why can't I?"
"Well just come with me I know the castle better. I can help you find your friend."

ic: Merry: Before Merry could stop them, several students had run up and surrounded Pippin and himself. Merry decided it was best to simply answer their questions, though Pippin did most of the talking. Then he noticed Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and Boromir were leaving and called out, "Wait for us!" He and Pippin pushed their way through the crowd to join the others.

ic: Rose: Rose continued to walk through the halls, searching for Snape. Knowing him, he was likely to appear from out of nowhere at any moment.

ooc: Um...kinda looks like Lubyla's not joining after all so instead of him being stoped by her this is what's going to happen.

Frodo: AAARGH!!!!!*I threw myself to the ground pulling the Ring off as fast as I could and screaming again. Several children of the men came out all around me, and stared at me, but I did not see them, I mearly clutched my head trying to get rid of the image. A thing darker than Nazgul, more evil that the Great Eye. And it was to close for comfort.* STRIDER! ARGH!!!

As Rose searched the halls, she heard Frodo scream for help. She was not sure whether or not Aragorn could hear -- but the Ringbearer was in danger, and she would respond! She ran towards Frodo, pushing her way through the people that surrounded him, ignoring the angry murmurs that this caused, save for an occassional apology to someone's indignant, "Hey!" She couldn't put a spell on Frodo again without arousing suspicion, so she decided to try to get Frodo out of it. But, my, he was being so noisy. She knelt beside him and whispered in his ear, "Frodo, it's Rose. Everything's all right, just calm down, be quiet." This did seem to calm him somewhat. Frodo stopped screaming and blinked hard at her.

ROSE! Get away from me! All of you get away from me! I want to go back home. argh, don't take it don't take it don't take it don't take it don't take it don't take it don't take it...
*All of this I muttered quitely, not sure if she could hear, not really caring...*

Rose dragged Frodo across the room and away from the crowd, ignoring his protests. Then she snarled and slapped Frodo across the face, hard. "Get a hold of yourself! I nearly got turned into a Nazgul back there, Freesia thinks I'm not her friend anymore, Arriana Nott's getting expelled and it's ALL YOUR FAULT! And you're so pathetic you don't even thank us for saving your life back there! You don't care about anybody but yourself, you miserable little weasel!"

ooc: ouch...

ic:*That stoped me in my tracks. I relized that the Ring-no I have to stop blaming it all on the Ring. This time it had been me. Me and my selfishness. I though back on what had happened since we got here. Leaving the Fellowship at the trainstation, then being so rude to Rose, then leaving the Fellowship again. Then putting the Ring on and acting like a maniac. Not all of that could have been the work of the Ring. I slowly stood up, mumbled a sorry, for I was to ashamed to speak and louder. Of course I did not know who Freesia or Arriana Nott where, but I knew that it had probably been my fault. I just wanted to be back at home, in Bag End, or just in the Shire. I never wanted any of this and i relized that sometimes I just let my fears get the better of me.* I'm sorry Rose, and I'm sorry 'bout your friends. I didn't know I got them in trouble. I just-just...*I trailed off trying to find the words to express my regret*

Rose calmed down a bit, blushing for her rudeness. "Frodo, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. I know you have a great burden right now, I just felt like you were taking it out on us. I know you need to get back to Middle Earth." She smiled weakly, then an idea came to her and she smiled for real. "Hey! You can come with me to find Dumbledore or Snape, maybe they'll listen to you if you say Nott shouldn't be expelled!"

I would be glad to help, but I don't know what good it would do, if I'm not a student...or even a familar creature to this world.

"Snape's fascinated with the Fellowship, you most of all. I think he'd agree to almost anything you asked." She and Frodo started down the halls, again searching for Snape, and Rose knew she had made another friend.

He knows about us? But how? Not even Gan- Not even the wisest wizard is that great...

[Silverstripe]

Rose hesitated, wondering whether or not to tell him about The Lord of the Rings. Cody had warned her that very sad things happened to some of the characters, and she wasn't sure one of those characters should have knowledge of the books; that would give him access to them, as well. Rose decided against revealing the source of information, and simply said

"The rules are a little different here, Frodo. But Gandalf--" He hadn't told you Gandalf's name, idiot! She did not go on with the rest of her statement, in which she meant to say she believed Gandalf to be much, much more powerful than Snape. Frodo, of course, would wonder how she knew! "Well, if he comes from your world, I'm not sure what the rules are there," she finished, hoping Frodo wouldn't notice she'd called the wizard "Gandalf" when she shouldn't have known his name.

*But he did notice.* Strider told you about andalf then. *He looked down.*

Oh no! Rose wasn't very good at lying to a friend, as the incident with Freesia proved, and she did so only in the greatest need. She decided she had to read the books -- fast -- for she was terrified that something awful would become of Frodo. Rose, noticing that Frodo looked sad, remained silent, hoping he wouldn't want a reply.

*When he looked up again he saw Sam, and nearly jumped for joy. For some reason, though Rose was his friend, the site of his best friend was like a shining light.*Can Sam come please Ms. Rose?

Rose laughed. "Yes, and you can just call me Rose." I really have to read those books...

Arriana ignored Rose, she knew that she was to be expelled, for it WAS the Head of Houses final desission (god my brain's fried).

She went off to her dorms, forgetting to eat, when she ran right into the Tall gruff dirty man who had been with the elf. She decided being polite was the best way to deal with these people.
"Pardon me, I didn't mean to err...run into you..."

/the man, shedding his gruff apearance smiled, "Tis alright, I was looking for someone to speak to anyway. I have heard rumors, rumors about...The Lord of the Rings do you know where I can find it?" He asked attentively. He gaze made Arriana feel like she was under the microscope (if she had known what that is)

Snape found Rose Gallaghan and Frodo Baggins(and Sam) in the corridor, he said with a nasal tone, "Frodo, I was hoping you would take heed of Dumbledore's warning, you must not stray far, for ...hobbits...do not exist in our time." He explaned. He looked At Rose, wondering what the hopeful expression on her face was about...

*Frodo looked at the man tring to remember wh he was but something else was on his mind.* You mean...they don't exict at all? The're not just hiding? *suddenly it struck him. He was the one that had been with the other man.* You're...what's you're name again sir? *He tried to be polite, hoping that the man would answer a question of his.*

[Aeryn]

Snape, Professor Snape. And I am to understand you were with Gandalf the grey" Snape seemd giddy about this, for if it was true, that these people really WERE the Fellowship, than Gandalf was the anscestor of both Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor (they were cousins).

Snape hoped that the reason the fellowship was here, was to get something they needed to succeed in the past, something that would change the course of what happened. For, time rips were only hypothetical.

ic: Frodo, Frodo, let's get to the point, please... thought Rose. She really wanted to ask about Arriana Nott, but she didn't DARE interupt Snape when he was talking with the hobbit. She desperately hoped that Frodo himself would remember.

peeking over the top of her book at rose, freesia felt her stiffen beside her on the bench as a slytherin girl appeared across the hall. sighing, rose stood and walked over to the girl. freesia recognised the girl as the one who had been scentenced to scrubbing dishes in the kitchens for detention with rose. wondering what rose was doing, freesia closed her book and sat watching, gathering information from the set of the slytherin's chin to the tilt of rose's head. she guessed the exchange wouldn't be pleasant. freesia rose. she was tired of inaction, she decided as she marched in the direction of the entrance door. once she was within earshot, she hung back slightly and let her listening take all her effort. what she heard was: "...going to speak to Snape about this, we both know he shouldn't be too hard to convince, you are a Slytherin after all! And I'm sure Dumbledore doesn't really want to expel anyone, either." the conversation stopped and freesia opened her eyes just in time to see rose disappearing around the corner. sighing resignedly, freesia trotted after her, glancing sharply at the slytherin girl, who appeared as if she'd taken root to the stones of Great Hall. catching up with rose, freesia grabbed her friend's hand, yanking until rose was forced to turn and face her. rose stared up at freesia (who was deceptively strong for her wiry build) furiously. freesia returned the glare just as fiercely, angry because her friend was. hoarsely, freesia whispered,"Are we still friends?"

rose looked quizzically at her, and freesia knew she was being heard. shaking rose's hand roughly, freesia asked again softly, "Are we?"
slowly, rose nodded. "Good," freesia breathed,"because we need to talk. come with me."
turning on her heel, trusting rose to follow, freesia marched up the stairs to a fourth floor hallway, leading rose to her special Thought Spot, which was a red-cusioned, window seat facing west at the end of the cooridor. "Now...." freesia let the word hang in the silence. "You promised that you would tell me what's going on. i'm not stupid, so don't leave anything out. I have some of this figured out, i think,...you're an Animagious, or whatever it is...oh, and you're 'not-cousin', he CAN'T be your cousin, because you told me that your dad's side has only girls and your mum's side has twin boys only a few months old, and two uncles without children..." i'm blathering, freesia thought, i'd better get back on track "...well, i've guessed that 'martin' is an Animag--whatever. and there seems to be a serious problem with that slytherin girl,What's-her-name...? But rose, you HAVE to tell me the truth, because i can't help you, i don't know ANY other way to help you, if you don't...tell me,"she whispered a little more gently,"why you won't trust me to help you."

ic: Aragorn.(ooc; By the way is Nott talking to me?) The students seemed to have caught on with our true presence and talked of a book by the title of THE LORD OF THE RINGS. A child I had seen earlier bumped into me and I asked her of this book. She looked at me with a blanck expression. She questioned me with her eyes for trust. I smiled. "I guess you don't know." But the girl left before she coulod answer me.
I looked at Boromir and Gimli who were wandering around the hallway staring at the odd moving pictures. I have never seen such art. The picture looked at me then whispered to another picture of a little man on a fat pony. I motioned for my companions to followe me. We had to get out of this world.

ic: Cody; We finally found Rose who was occomponied by Frodo. Sam ran to his side in joy. Frodo embraced him lovingly and they looked at Rose and myself with a sad glance.
"We need to get them home." said Rose.
"I know."
"Where you last in your journey before you came here?" I asked Frodo.
"In the minds of Moria" he responded. "But how would you know of the minds of Moria.
"I do my history homework." I responded.
An idea flashed into my mind. I had to get to my collection of Tokien books. I had to get them fast. I ran to my dorm and on my way slamed head first into an opening picture. The person who came out...

Rose looked at Freesia sadly. "Oh, Freesia, I don't think you're stupid. And I do trust you, but I didn't have time to explain." Rose sighed. "The truth is even harder to believe than what I told you. All right. First, have you ever read The Lord of the Rings?" Freesia shook her head. Oh, dear, that makes things a LOT harder... "'Martin' is not an Animagus -- I am, but he isn't. He isn't even human, you see. 'Martin' is a hobbit, and his real name is Merry, and...and..." at the incredulous, hurt look on Freesia's face, Rose whispered, "ask Cody. I have to go find Snape, I have to speak to him about something, we're still friends and I will explain all this later, I promise!" Before Freesia could say another word, Rose had darted off to find Snape.

ooc: And then she found Frodo again, and THEN found Snape. Their first words, I think, have already been posted. :)

Snape looked at the hobbit happily, "Oh yes, please, go on." He glanced once more at Rose. But the hobbit began to speak...and all else seemed unimportant, for he had to know every detail of what went on with the Hobbit, to truly help them. (for the Tolkien books ended differently HINT HINT in the Mines of Moria, ARAGORN fell, NOT Gandalf. Yeah, weird I know, and the HISTORY IS CHANGED, The war of the ring ends when Sauron gets the ring, but Saruman, kills him. thank you. I know, freaky.)

Arriana stared at him, Where had she heard of the lord of the rings before? then a light bulb seemed to flash in her head, that was IT!! She ran frantically into the Slytherin Common room, literally screaming the password. A huge Boa sat on the floor, a bright white color. Arriana tapped her foot impassionately, " I told you to stop trying to scare me, it DOESNT work." The snake hissed, and then morphed into a boy laying on the floor on his stomach, "It was worth a try." he said.

Cue any new characters.

Suddenly Frodo remembered why Rose had asked him to come, and motioned for Rose to speak.

"Um, Professor Snape, we were wondering, that is Frodo and I, well, Arriana Nott says she's getting expelled, and we were wondering, if, er, you could possibly reconsider that."

Rose was prepared for a sneer, a lecture, anything, even an attempt to get her expelled too. But he might change his mind about expelling Arriana Nott.

Anyway, any school rules she'd broken after their first visit to the Forbidden Forest might not have been her fault, after all, the curse on Rose's wand had Rose acting like a Ringwraith, and it affected Nott in any way...

Suddenly Rose snapped her head up, a look of pure terror in her eyes. Of course! Dumbledore had been asking her to protect Arriana Nott, to warn her! Since Rose had proved she could fight, she alone could be fully depended on to give a warning, and if the Slytherin girl got annoyed and hexed someone, Rose was the only person for whom there could be no further damage!

Because I'm already 'infected'... thought Rose sadly. No matter. Rose waited anxiously for Snape's answer, knowing she would have no time to argue, whatever he said. Rose had to go find Arriana Nott, before the Slytherin girl used her wand!

ic: Aragorn: We continued down the strange hallway and Legolas still trying to avoid the many students who had takin a liking to him. We passed some rooms that had people in them hoj=lding up the strange magic sticks. One classroom had a very severe looking professor in it and she was screaming at a student for turning his friend into a fox. Now how can you do that?
As we made our way into a hallway that seemed to get colder we knoked into a green robed student who looked stressed.
"Have you seen a short man with furry feet and a golden ring arount his neck?" I asked the student.
"I wish I had never seen him." She replied miserably.

ic: Cody: I rushed into my dorm and got out my fellowship book. I fliped franticly through the pages and when I got to the moria parts as they came to the bridge the rest of the pages became blank.

That means they never lost Gandalf, he just never crossed over and took the other path. But were did they enter our world? Were is the port hole?

Suddenly Rose snapped her head up, a look of pure terror in her eyes. Of course! Dumbledore had been asking her to protect Arriana Nott, to warn her! Since Rose had proved she could fight, she alone could be fully depended on to give a warning, and if the Slytherin girl got annoyed and hexed someone, Rose was the only person for whom there could be no further damage!

Because I'm already 'infected'... thought Rose sadly. No matter. Rose waited anxiously for Snape's answer, knowing she would have no time to argue, whatever he said. Rose had to go find Arriana Nott, before the Slytherin girl used her wand!

Arriana stared at her brother, annoyed to the core, "Norman, you're a jerk. Go find your friends and get lost." she commanded. He stuck his tongue out at her, "Fine, you asked for it" she said pulling out her wand. "A wizards duel."

He cleared his throat, "She was never being expelled...yet...just suspended, of course she would have wand rights because she would have her homework, but she is going home. Her..*he sneered happily* father is going to come and get her by Floo soon."

Frodo spoke up* But why sir. What did she do? What did she do to be banished for a certain time from this...school?

Snape became less cordial to the Hobbit, "She underminded authority, broke rules by going inot the Forbidden forest, she was disrespectful to a teacher, not just any teacher, her head od house, but not just any head of house, she disrespected me."

Rose was immediately hit by a strong feeling of danger, and suspected it had something to do with Nott.

"Sir...do you know where Arriana Nott is now?" asked Rose anxiously.

Snape stood there for a second, thinking, "Yes, I believe she's in the common room...the SLYTHERIN common room that is." he reitterated.

Arrian took out her wand as did her brother, he was older, but she didn't care. They circled eachother like hawks, he yelled, "EXPILLARMUS!" but she jumped out of the way. She inturn muttered, "Tarantellegra." but it missed him. She figured her father had been tutoring him on his dueling skills

Great, now what am I going to do?

Rose couldn't exactly just go wandering into the Slytherin common room ... unless...she blurted out her question.

"I think there's a problem, do you know why I was, er, acting strangely earlier?"

Snape nodded curtly, "Of course, The Headmaster and I figured it out." He boasted, then his eyes darted to the end of the dungeon hall where the common room was, What was this gril implying?

"Rictusempra!" Her brother cried, hitting her with the tickling charm, she laughed out right, she performed the ending spell on herself, "Finite Incantetum!" All hell broke loose.

Something like a "shock wave" from the spell performed with Arriana Nott's wand hit Rose, and she cried out in pain.

"NO! She can't, I was taught to fight, my mother... she can't, she can't, not alone!" screamed Rose, barely aware of what she was saying.

Arriana turned her head in her brothers direction, muttering nonsense words under her breath. Her brother laughed, thinking it a grand joke, until she spoke the words "Adava Kedevra!"

Suddenly she found herself running towards a dark figure, a Dark One who held Arriana Nott.

"FIGHT! Arriana Nott, if you care about anything, if you've ever cared about anything, you MUST FIGHT!"

Arriana saw with red eyes her brothers nose begin to run, "You little prat, you could kill someone for that, you could get the Kiss for that!" She walked towards him, muttering a spell that made her wand into a long double-edged sword.

Then a flicker o flight entered her mind, and a brief echo was telling her to stop, if she ever cared for anything...but that was the problem...she hadn't...but she hoped she would. Memories of all the wonderful things that have happened in her life flashed before her eyes, and she croaked to her brother, "Run you insolent fool, if you value your life, go." Her borhter took her advise right before she lost all will power.

"FIGHT!" Rose cried one last time. Arriana Nott, with a look of utter despair, continued to be dragged back by the Nazgul. In desperation, Rose became the white horse, and with all her strength and speed, she charged at the figure, knowing she could not win, knowing that this could mean she and Nott were both doomed...

But suddenly a third person entered their world, supporting Rose as she supported Arriana Nott, giving Rose the strength to push Arriana Nott back toward the light.

"Arriana, please fight," whispered Rose, "I don't want you to fall."

Snape, not knowing quite what to do yelled, "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" A huge basilik like shape shot out of his wand at the Dementor type creature, it seemed to...not like it...but was otherwise unfazed besides the fact that it dropped Arriana Nott, he yelled, "Accio!"

In the back of her mind Rose heard Snape shout something. Nothing happened, for while Arriana Nott had no will to fight, it was as though her indifference had her rooted to the spot. Rose sensed that the Slytherin girl thought no one cared about her, no one needed or wanted her around.

"But I do care what happens to you, and you're a better person than you know. You saved the House Elves when we were all in danger. You kept Cody's secret even though magically, you're probably more powerful than I am, so my threats meant nothing. And I think you might've saved a few lives, too."
Rose continued to name all the good things she'd ever seen the Slytherin girl do, and was surprised by how many she discovered. So Dumbledore had been right, there WAS good in Arriana Nott.

Then Rose saw Arriana Nott struggle a little against the Ringwraith, and Rose rushed forward and grabbed the Slytherin girl, trying to pull her away from the Ringwraith.

But even together, Rose Gallaghan and Arriana Nott were no longer strong enough to defeat the dark one; the battle had already taken too much out of them, and now they were both lost...

following rose and 'martin' sullenly, freesia kept her steps quiet and stealthy. she didn't want rose to know that she was following her just yet. the pair entered the great hall, trooping across it and into the entrance to the dungeons.wondering what on earth they could be doing (in the dungeons!) freesia waited a couple of minutes just in case they returned, then, making up her mind, padded swiftly over to the entrance of the hallway. no longer sneaking, but striding with purpose. she walked for a few minutes, checking all the familliar corridors, and skirting one where the slytherin girl and an unfamiliar boy leered at each other. hurrying along the passageway, she heard the cold sneer of professor snape, and the higher pitched exclamations of rose and 'martin'(for lack of something better to call him). as she neared the doorway where the threesome were conversing, freesia heard a breathy "Oh!", then some unintelligible screaming from rose and ducked out of sight (behind a broom closet door) just in time, as rose came racing around the corner. professor snape followed, 'martin' huffing and puffing behind.

heaving a frustrated sigh, freesia retraced her steps (this time quite a bit faster), catching a glimpse of 'martin's' bobbing figure running heavily down a dead end. she stopped for a second and listened down the hall....there was only one person down there, and that was 'martin'...but no time to worry about him now, she thought as the feeling of foreboding increased. sprinting down the hall, freesia came around a bend, just in time to see professor snape tumble to the ground with the soft whoosh of expelled air and clinging silver whisps. rose was there clinging to the slytherin girl, Nott(now where had that name come from?), and they were falling, falling.........

not if i have anything to say about it! thought freesia as she rushed forward to catch hold of the girls. as her hot hands grabbed rose's forearms, it was as if she was fused to both of them. she couldn't release her grip, nor could she even open her eyes, but she was aware of the presence of arianna and rose, fighting what was no longer a losing battle. so thus freesia stood braced as her energy ebbed and disappeared, pulling away from her, into rose, into ari, as they expanded to take it all in. rose swelled and sent an almost electric word toward the terror that she was fighting. the Thing shrieked, and suddenly disappeared. with a jolt, freesia's magic returned through her hands, and she gleefully thought to be or to be IS a question before she joined professor snape as a huddled lump on the cobbled floor.

ic: Aragorn: We searched through the castle and found a cold presenc eomong theses strange people. Then a child came up to me holding a book in her hand. "Tell me what last happend in the caves of Moria before you came here." She said in a voice that meant NOW.
I told her of the Nazgul following us into the mines then as we came to a dead end The wall was not solid and we could go through it. The girl thgen asked about Gandalf and if he had followed us into the wall. I shook my my head. The girl at that thanked me then sped of towards a door and out of sight.

ic Cody: I left towardds the dungoen to find a girl taking the sdame path in a rush talking to herself saying I will get to the bootom of this and get my friends trust back.
"Huh?"
I carried the book in my hand which its pages slowly filled up with what was happaning in the castle right now. I heard a scream then felt stiff and cold all over. I looked into the open door of the Slytherin common room and found a dark cloaked figure standing over a white horse and a cowering girl with a sword who seemed to be trying to fight of this creature. Another girl came and with her power fought the creatutre off and the two were back to normal again. I rushed over to Rose and showeed her the pages and their new story.
"We have to get to the forest. And fast. There are bound to be more then just Ring wraiths coming out of that world. No one is safe in till the ring is back in Middle Earth and back on track towards Lothlorien again."
But as we appraoched the door a new figure appeared. This one fingered its long thick edged sword menecingly and swipted it at me. As the sword came down it missed my head but one scream told me who it hit and I dreaded it greatly.

Rose and Arriana Nott had both managed to dodge out of the blade's way, but Freesia MacIntire, who had only now regained conciousness, just barely had time to roll away a bit, so that the blade hit her shoulder, rather than falling across her neck.

Frodo: All right. *Pulls tea and Ale out of his pack.* I've got some rice cakes here as well if you would like.

Merry: Personally I would like some chocolate cake.

Pippin: O i've got some of that, I always carry some with me just in case.

Frodo: Where's Sam, he's missing out on the party.

Merry: I think I saw him back there a ways. He'll be here shortly I'm sure.

And so the hobbits sit down to there afternoon Tea.

ic: I dodged quickly out of the way of the sword but watched in horror as it struck the girl behind me. I raced towards the girl and wrapped my bandana on her cut shoulder which bleed freely on the stone flagged floor.
The creature went for another strike and managed to hit me across the cheek but not by much. Rose lept fromher spot helping Nott as well and they posed for a duel holding their wands out in defense. I got up and helped the girl to her feet. We both also possed our wands out in a ready duel form. The creature raised its sword up and pointed it at us and laughed. "Foolish children. You think you can kill me or more get away. Give me the Halfling."

*Frodo finished up his meal as did Pippin and Merry.* Well boys I think I heard a rignwraith ask for me so I guess it's time to run around screaming again. It's to bad Sam missed out on such a delicous meal. *And so the three hobbits got up, and ran around screaming.*

ic: The foolish hobbits ran, screaming, directly into the girls and the Ringwraith (they were on the other side of the door). Instantly Merry and Pippin moved to protect Frodo, for the Ringwraith knew who the Ringbearer was, and was moving slowly towards the hobbits. The girls slipped past the Nazgul, who was no longer concerned with them.

Then Rose laughed, a cold, harsh laugh which surprised them all, even her. A plan had formed in her mind, and she intended to carry it out, for it was their only hope. Quickly, she grabbed Frodo.

"You want the Halfling?" Then follow me!"

Praying her friends would know she wanted them to follow her into the Forest, Rose transformed into the white horse, Frodo on her back, and ran as fast as she could, knowing full well her life, and perhaps her world, depended on it...

ic: Frodo and his companions came into the dongeons unawar of the danger they had walked into. Frodo was picked up by a white horse which Rose had transformend into. Rose had a plan and I decided it was are only cahnce so I followed the white horse grabbing the hand of a slacking Sam at the same time.

ic: Aragorn:A new rumour suggested dark dementor looking creatures had entered the school. I knew not of what a dementor was but knew just by the word dark it was a Nazgul. I ran towards the dungeon but was met by a white horse racing towards me with Frodo on its backi. The horse passed us by and was followed by one of the Nazgul. I swiped at the charging Nazgul with Andurilk and motioned for the fellowship to follow the horse. At first they looked at me puzzled but then decided to follow without any other choice.

ooc: LOL! Why is this scene somewhat familiar? Let's see... Frodo riding a white horse who's being pursued by Ringwraiths...

ic: Rose ran into the Forest, seeking a certain spot. Again she was being called by something -- no, SOMEONE powerful, but this time that someone was good. Cody, Freesia, and Nott followed her, and so did others ... the Fellowship! And Professor Snape?!

But Rose had no time to think now; the Ringwraiths were coming closer, and she continued to gallop through the Forbidden Forest, with Frodo hanging onto her mane for dear life.

she screamed. once only, against all the pride that held it in, she screamed. but she shut her lips and smothered
the shouts that followed. "i am strong," she thought, "but now would be a nice time to faint! but i can't, i have
to tell them all....tell them what? that it...but i can't ...no..." blackness enveloped her.

"No no no no no" she muttered aloud,"i won't, i won't!" with a struggle, she opened her heavy lids and gazed blearily around her. her aching body informed her (in no uncertain terms), that it resented this treatment and was displeased that she had the idiocy to lay on a cold, knobbly, dungeon floor. her vision was strangely fuzzy, and the shapes that were people around her, looked pale. she stood shakily, shoving away the hand someone offered to her. her left arm felt strange, and she glanced down. noting the blossom of red shining on her robes through a bandana, she giggled and leaned against the corridor wall.

hiccoughing with laughter, she spoke, " they came here...ha aha!...and they opened the doorway....the door...aha ha ha!" she paused to breathe heavily before she continued,"and now, now anyone...anything can...hee hee..come through...hee hee hee....and lots of them are going to....to come...hoo hoo hee....they are on the way.... gaining....mustering....gathering forces....Oh my!" she inhaled sharply as professor snape gripped her shoulders. "Ah ah! it's broken professor, hee hee hee hee! watch out it hurts, it does...i'm g-going, professor...going to class, i'll be late....going to class... going to class...." freesia crooned. "......going to.....n-not to class....heh heh... to..gotta go up to th-the hospital....but i wont ... i won't i can't.... won't be late....mess up my grades...going---------" someone caught her as she fell....

ic:Merry: Just before they left Hogwarts, Merry saw Legolas run toward them (the elf had run ahead of everyone and into the dungeon), carrying one of the girls he'd seen earlier, whose shoulder was bleeding. Aragorn motioned for everyone to follow the white horse that swept past them, and Merry followed, though he had no idea where they were going.

ic:Rose: Out of the corner of her eye, Rose saw that Legolas was carrying Freesia -- yet even carrying another, he and Aragorn were able to follow her more quickly than any of the others. Suddenly, Cody collapsed. Rose noted this with concern, but she still had no time for worry, or for fear. She just kept, running, running...and suddenly a portal of light opened, and she leapt through, hoping that her friends and the Fellowship would follow, but knowing that she must get Frodo to safety...

ooc: I think there's still a lot of this story left, but Freesia and Cody, at least, can't last too much longer without help.
Will someone please try to follow Frodo and Rose?:D

ooc: Rose and Frodo aren't back in ME yet.

ic: Rose and Frodo burst through the portal, followed by Legolas and Aragorn, Freesia and Cody, and Arriana Nott. Then the portal closed, leaving five very confused people standing in a world of which they were the only inhabitants, a world without time: a place between worlds. The only inhabitants ... save one other. Gandalf had been waiting for them in this place, and Rose knew he had been the one that called her.

ooc: Yes, I know there are seven people besides Gandalf there, but Freesia and Cody aren't confused yet because they're indifferent to everything at this point!

ic: What are you doing! *They went through a porthole, leaving Frodo's best friends behind...he wasn't happy.* Why did you leave Merry and Pippin and Sam back there!

"The rest of the Fellowship should be arriving shortly," said Gandalf, and almost as soon as he had spoken, the other five members of the Fellowship, and Snape, crashed through another portal into their world.

ic: The fellowship followed the white horse and Legolas the elf was holding an unconcious Freesia. I became worried. I hope that blade was a normal blade and not a poison orc blade. We continued to follow the horse in till we came through a very bright light and found ourselves face to face with the legendary Gandalf the gray. Frodo jumped off the horse and ran to Gandalf like a child to a father. The rest of the fellowship including Freesia, Nott and Snape came through the porthole panting with excitemnet. Gandalf looked at the port hole with horror as it started to seal its' self and with our Hogwarts group still in there.

ooc: I'm assuming, from the way Freesia reacted, that we DO have a very serious problem with the blades!

ic:Rose: Rose transformed back into a human. Pretty much everyone within that world knew anyway. Gandalf spoke a few words, and though the portal continued to close, it would now open again -- but only for the people within the place. He looked at the group sadly.

"The five of you who are not part of the Fellowship must journey to Middle Earth for a short time. There is someone you must meet."

"Only the five of them?! Why not us?" asked Merry, "as long as we can get there."

"People from that world are easier to transport... no, I do not know why," he said, in response to the look on Pippin's face. He turned back to the Hogwarts group.
"Your world is in danger, and you five are the only ones who can protect it now. Others may help you, but they cannot fight your battles for you. Even the Fellowship."

"Huh?" said Rose.

"The portal between our worlds has been opened, and now Sauron knows your world exists. And he wants to claim it. He will make an alliance with the most powerful dark creature in your world he can find. I believe you all know of whom I speak," said Gandalf.

A cold chill ran down Rose's spine. Yes, she knew...

Gandalf continued. "Fortunately, the Fellowship arrived in your world first, not any of Sauron's forces, and so there is still hope. But come." He led the five towards a patch of light. Again he spoke a few words, and another portal opened, this one leading into Middle Earth.

As they all went through the portal, the Hogwarts group heard Gandalf say,

"You must meet with Galadriel."

Pippin: Frodo, I wonder why thier easier to transport, when WE'RE from Middle-Earth?

Frodo: *Sighs and hold his head as though he has a headache* O, I don't know Pippin! Don't you ever just ask yourself in you're head!?*He had started quietly, but by the time he finished he was shouting.*

ic: The port hole was opend but a bit but not for us to go through at that moment.
"Oh dear."
Gandalf told us of the risk put out with the port hole but the flame of hope that still did not dim out. Sauron was not the one who came through the hole first but the fellowship. We were to seek answers from Galadriel Lady of light. The rest of the Hogwarts students looked puzzled at the name but I held in a definate laugh of joy and jumping up and down energy that I wanted to do to express my joy of being able to go to Lothlorien and meeting Glaladriel. We traveled by night for the shadows still crept in the forest and dark corners. We hoped to reach out of Moria vy sunlight. VERY SOON>

ic: Rose looked at Cody's happy face and wondered if her friend had really understood what Gandalf had just said. Both Freesia and Cody had recovered from their wounds, for the unique energy of the place between worlds healed any and all physical wounds, though it could not cure heartbreak.

No one had said much on the journey; Snape and Cody were too busy looking amazed, Rose was quietly pondering the fate of her world and Middle Earth, and as for Freesia and Arriana Nott, Rose couldn't tell what they were thinking. Yet the expression on both faces was one of worry.

The five of us are the ones who must fight. If we fail, all will be lost, and an alliance will form between Sauron and the most powerful dark creature on our world. Voldemort.

But as the journey continued, Rose suddenly saw something so amazing she forgot, for a moment, about her fears.

freesia regained consciousness. taking an inventory of her body, she did not find anything wrong. not even a stiff muscle. this puzzled her, but not as much as realizing that she was in the air. she amused herself with the thought i've learned levitation! before she came to the conclusion that there was something holding
her. loathe to open her eyes, freesia indulged herself in a last cozy moment staring blissfully at the insides of her eyelids. when she opened her eyes, she was startled to find that the arms of a blond-haired man (was he really a man? with pointed ears?) supported her. in an instant she recognised him as one of the group that
rose had brought to hogwarts. she had called them the Fellowship. he bent his head close as freesia spoke quietly, "will you put me down?"

he nodded once, then gently set her on her legs. she stood, grateful that her legs did not wobble, and looked 'round at everyone. noticing a rather pale cody, freesia went to her. trying to look cheerful instead of passive and slightly dopey (which was how she felt), she plunked herself down next to cody, tucking her feet under her, and whispered, "boy, we made a show of ourselves! something happens and rosie's the only one who manages to stay on her feet! we'll have to work on that, won't we, me gel!"

gratified by the wan smile on cody's face, and the small nod she gave, the two sat in companionable silence, viewing the people before them. aragorn, gimli, the blond-haired man ( 'legolas', whispered cody),'martin' and three short people just like him, rose,....freesia and cody's eyes grew as they saw the slytherin girl next to professor snape. practically glaring, cody burst out, "how did THEY get here?!", before freesia could put a hand over her mouth. but, luckily, nobody was listening, and no one heard. wondering (too) how and why they had followed, she rose and breathed, "let's go find out!"

the conversation that followed was uncomfortable and confusing for freesia, and she tried not to shuffle her feet in consternation. a thousand questions rushed through her brain, and she struggled to contain them. but it was settled. they were going to middle earth!

They had come into the light of day, and Rose saw for the first time the true beauty of Middle Earth. Looking around with awe and wonder, Rose understood a little of what Cody must have been feeling earlier. The entire group simply stared, unmoving, for several minutes. Then Rose finally remembered why they were there, and the danger their world was in.

"Did any of you realize who Gandalf was talking about? Not this 'Galadriel', I mean, er, the other one," she said, hoping she wasn't the only one who had caught Gandalf's comment about the 'most powerful dark creature'.

I snapped from my excitment and looked at Rose.
Sauron is the Lord of the RIng that that one hobbit had on his chain. That ring is powerful and holds Saurons power in it which he shared with the ring. He lost the ring in a great war but the ring was never destroyed giving Saurona chance to recapture the ring and use it to enslave the free lands of Middle Earth. And ow even our free land. He is true evil and his followers like Voldemort form an army for capturing his enemies and finding the ring.

ic: We started of slowly for we were not use to walking far distance in a great speed as Gandlaf did. Snape and Nott starndled along in the back looking at the wonderous world around them in awe. I laughed to myself. I was to happy to heed Gandalfs dark predictions. I wanted to stay in Middle earth for the rest of my life never returning to my wretched world full of polution and masked wizards. Rose seemed to enjoy the the atmosphered as well. She forgot to watch her step and kept fumbeling over tree roots but still kept her eyes on the roof like tre tops full of red and yellow and half green leaves blowing softly in the wind. How beautiful!
Soon we would see golden leaves if the the elves of Lorien would not mask us on the trail. We ventured into the Nimrode elven land. We sat by the fire after a long days journey and ate some cooked rabbit. And for those who don't agree with rabbit some fruit.
Gandalf waved his staff in motions and made little figures in the smoke of the fire for amusement. I guessed that it was clear to him that we were all nervouse and scared. he even taughed us how to do the same trick and I laughed at being the first one to beable to have the honors of holding his staff while he demostrated using the spell on our wands.

Because, you see, Aeryn is leaving, and she was officially playing Arriana Nott and semi-unofficially playing Snape, who, er, are two of the Five Hogwarts characters who have to save the world! ic: It was night. Rose looked at Cody's happy face, then at the moon. Soon it would be full, time for Cody's transformation. Rose made a mental note to herself to speak to Cody about that when she could. In the meantime...

"Freesia, this is a beautiful place. But I don't think we have much time to enjoy it. We have a task to do, you see. Which seems odd; what do you think WE can do?"

ic: The sky becam dark and the moon unvieled from the thick curtain of light. I shuddered. The moon was to be full again. But being on this journey will make me unsafe around all living things. I watched as Freesia and Rose spoke to each other by the shadows of the trees and I saw that Sanpe was using his wand to show Gandalf some tricks he knew. (Show off:rolleyes: ) Nott was sitting alon under a tree away from the light of the glowing fire and away from the whole group itself. I looked behind Nott and to my shock saw a pair of glowing eyes in the tops of the trees. Then another peir appeared. I gave a small scream then shuddered at the thought of what it might be. Then I saw the peir of eyes move away from the camp. My urge to follow grew strong and without saying a word to the others I followed the path of the mysterious creature and never looked back.

I ran down the trail and deeper into the dark tented forest. I ran as fast as I could to keep up with the ever moving eyes. But as quike as they truned a corner as I followed they dissapeared. I had completely forgot about tyhe moon but before I could turn back a sharp poke to my back signaled that I had been discovered but not with friendly welcoming.

freesia was tired. but not TOO tired. her day had been productive. she had learned a new charm from professor snape, she had found some food in her robes pockets, and, while walking, she had found a branch perfect for what she had planned. the charm had to be the high point of her day. but the half-eaten package of peanut butter crackers, 3 packaged peppermints, the bag of dried veggie snacks, and a chocolate frog (that she always carried for when she got hungry during the day) had turned out to be the high point of everybody elses. when she had turned out her robe pockets, everyone had flocked around her, looking for all the world like starved, willing-to please puppies, and the growling of their stomachs audible. she had been parceling out food when professor snape strode over and said, "give me the food, MacIntire." the girls were outraged as she handed it over wordlessly, hoping he wasn't going to eat all of it. regretfully, the others backed away and sat forlornly by the path, but snape carried the food over and set it on a tree stump. he hunched over it as he took out his wand. curious, freesia sidled closer and heard him murmer a spell over the food. with a twirl-swish of his wand, there was twice as much food. startled, she came closer as he did it again. afraid to interrupt, but wishing to help, she asked," professor, erm... can i help? i'd like to learn how to do that."
startled, professor snape looked up. he glanced 'round at the weary girls and at freesia, wanting to help, then, "If you must MacIntire...the charm is duplicatus." she watched him once more, practicing the twirl-swish before joining in. she practiced on the peppermints (her first few coming out as peppermint striped plastic), but she soon got the hang of it and was multiplying peppermints galore....enough to feed a company twice their size! snape, seeing the humongous pile in front of her, said, "that will do, MacIntire, go share these with the others," shoving packages of crackers at her, before starting to duplicate some vegetables.

As Freesia began to respond to Rose's question, they were interupted by a scream.

Rose looked around anxiously, and noticed that one member of their company was missing. "Cody!" Rose grabbed her wand and ran off in the direction of the sound, heedless of the danger.

It was then that the voice began calling to her again.
Rose...you can't hide, Rose. I know where you are. Come, Rose. Forget the werewolf. She would abandon you...just as your father did.

"MY FATHER DID NOT ABANDON ME!" screamed Rose.

Oh, he didn't? Was he ever there for you? The voice became softer, almost hypnotic. He was always too busy for you, Rose. Yes...always too busy with more IMPORTANT things than his own daughter. He betrayed you. And so will Cody. Come with me. I will lead you to your TRUE friends.

As if in a dream, Rose saw a figure cloaked in shadow appear and extend his hand for her to take. Instinctively, she reached out... and then some inner part of her mind cried out for her to stop.

"No!" Rose began to back away, still watching the dark figure.

When your so-called friends begin to turn on you, remember...me...

And with that the figure faded, but Rose knew she had not seen the last of him. Exhausted, Rose leaned against a mighty oak tree and wept.

But Rose had little time for tears; her friend could be in trouble. In fact, Rose was now almost certain that it was Cody herself who had screamed!
Rose, you fool, you nearly forgot about Cody! And that's exactly what the voice WANTED you to do! She rebuked herself sternly, then dried her eyes and moved swiftly on, praying that she wouldn't be too late to prevent a terrible disaster.

The shock of hearing the voice again had made Rose a little bit more cautious, and she decided to not to run, trading speed for stealth. Rose couldn't help Cody as well if she were having to fend off an attacker. But if Rose didn't get there quickly, Cody might be dead. So Rose walked as fast, perhaps faster, than she thought was safe, wincing internally every time a twig crunched under her foot.

Rose realized that she was lost; since she couldn't make her way back to the others, she had to find Cody, probably alone. After her encounter with the dark figure, Rose was much more alert, prepared to have to fight some evil creature at any moment. A bit odd, how the trees of Middle Earth seemed so much more....well, alive, than the trees at home. Or was it really so odd? This entire world seemed more alive than her own, and Rose knew it would be hard for her to leave Middle Earth. Yet she had to go home; they all had to go home. Right after they met Galadriel.

But first, Rose had to find Cody, which she couldn't do by sight. She looked around carefully, and when she was certain no one was watching her, Rose became the white horse once more, plunging deeper into the forest, towards Cody -- and towards danger!

ooc: The hobbits are now talking to Dumbledor who is trying to find a way for them to return home at the same time as getting the Hogwarts students back.

ic Aragorn: We walked into a circular room that was bright by the golden sun. A beautiful bird was pertched in a corner looking at us curiously as though figuring out waht we were. Legolas smiled at the enchanting bird and it flew from its perch and rested on his shoulder folding its golden plumed wings gracefully and sang in joy of our meeting. The old wizard returned looking half solemn and half scared.
"Some of our Hogwarts residents have fallen into Middle Earth and I can only hope good finds them before evil."
I nodded in respons.
"Lets hope Gandlaf the gray will be that good."
I"I may have a way to get you back into your world but it will take awhile to find it. It is a special port key from the ministry that may have the power to put you back in your time but we still don't know were it will bring you. It could bring you into danger."
"It is worth a chance." I replied.
"And no dwarf will back down when there is still hope." cried Gimli bravely.
"Nor elf or halfling." put in Legolas followed by nods of agreement from the hobbits.
Boromir nodded as well standing strait with his hand on the hilt of his sword as though ready for anything that could happen.

ic: Cody: The elves blind folded me and half dragged me up a ladder. It seemed to take ages for us to get to the top of the ladder and I suspected it would me a long fall if we were to jump. I blocked that though from my head trying not to scare myself into panick.

The last thing I want is to show these creatures that I am scared or weak.

I hoped Someone would notice my absence and help me but I could only let out one cry for help before a gag was fitted into my mouth. We reached a landing and I was pushed foreword. My gag was removed and my blindfold was taken as well. I gasped in half amazement and wonder. A real elf tall and proud stood before me. Save the arrow and the bow aimed at my heart it was an amazing site. Then I lost myself and screamed in pain.
I was about to transform into a werewolf...

"She is a Gryphendor who is to be treated with respect and she is to be on the quittage team seeing as she is related vey closely to a friend of mine and has plaied on the American Pro team since she started school at AHogwarts. She will know all of the Gryphendor's names by the end of next week."
Later in the Gryphendor commonroom a girl ran up to her and
introduced herself as Cody.

They cut my wrist cutting off my blood circulation just a bit. I knew as sson as I transformed I would brake these bonds and kill anything in reach.
"So said the new girl, what classes did you get." "All the classes for fourth years I guess." II responded half asleep. I had not much sleep that night as I had sat up all night crying. Adrian scooped herself up some eggs and flingend them at the Slytherins who had been busy having a food fight with the gryffindors. I moved quickly to avoid a boiled egg flying strait for my face. "I probably will have the same classes as you ." she said after flinging a newt eye at a blond wizard who ducked to late getting hit in the chest. She giggled slightly then returned to her paper. I have advanced potions for fifth years." I said in a sigh. "Oh" wel at least we have lunch and all the other classes." I nodded. "Probably"
The elves looked at me then forced me to my feet.
"What are you doing in these woods?" asked the head elf still pointing his bow threateningly.
"I got lost." I replied in a small scared voice.
"I was with..." before I could finish my sentence I felt my body heat up and pain shot through my limbs un mercyfully. The elves backed away in shock.

Look I will willingly take out being elf and mortal and my stag and the owl Hedwing. By the way your story was great but I didn't need to be sorted I was a Gryffindor at AHogwarts(Hogwarts America) and on he side my birtmark is a Gryffindor shield on my left shoulder and it became full color when I was sorted at AHogwarts. ic: Rose: Rose continued to search for Cody, using all of her senses. Suddenly she heard a stopped and pricked up her ears. She had heard the sound of Cody's voice! Certain, now, that she was near, Rose transformed back into human form. It was quieter that way. She heard the sound of voices and crept in closer. Now Rose was close enough to see what was happening: Cody had been captured by elves! Cody had fallen to her knees, a pained expression on her face, obviously about to become a werewolf. And if that happened here, the elves would kill Cody...although probably not before the werewolf had bitten some of them! Rose darted in to support her friend, praying the elves would listen to her when she tried to reason with them.

ic: Arriana: Arriana Nott watched Gallaghan charge off alone into the night. Arriana rolled her eyes. Idiot... She got up along with the rest of the group, though, and began to follow Gallaghan.

Gandalf held them back. "Wait! It is safer for Rose Gallaghan to find her friend alone," he said sternly, in a voice that left no room for argument.

ic: Cody: Rose to my releif jumped onto the landing and pried to elves away from me in warning. They looked at her in half shock and fingered their knives threateningly. The head elf came up to her but was pushed back.
Was pushed back by me. I was drooling in the mouth from the pain in my body but I kept my thoughts and strained them on protecting Rose and escaping. Rose stoped me as I almost unconciously fell off the landing but instead transformed into a four legged beast and bounded off the tree in a painful landing to the ground. I bounded away ignoring the girl who had just appeared in the path ahead.

I sat at the desk in professor McGonnagle's(sp) room telling her what had happened."My dear child I think your grandfather was right in sending you here," she said trying to comfort me, "also you are to be allowed to go to Hagrid's hut to see Swift any time when you are not class as long as you break no rules." "Swift is comming here?" I asked questioningly because wolves were not really allowed, but then again neither was multiple pets really. I only had them because of my homesickness and my Grandfather was a friend of the headmaster's."Now run along and get to class, but watch out I think your dream might be warning you of something."

Rose would soon transform into the white horse and follow Cody -- but first, she had to persuade the elves not to hurt her friend. The elf who appeared to be the leader was already loudly demanding an explanation. Somehow Rose was certain that, agressive though they might be, they were good people. She only hoped she was right!

She sighed and turned to the elven leader. "I'll try to answer any questions you have. But please, ask quickly, that's my friend out there, and I don't want her to get hurt."
Or for her to harm anyone else!

What had McGonnagle(sp) ment my dreams might be warning me of something I pondered as I walked to my first class that morning(potions). I wondered if Professor Snape might know what she ment. For some reason although he was head of Slytherin house and was mean to the othe Gryfindors he was always nice to me and treated me like he treated his Slytherins. Maybe he had been friends with Grandpa at school or maybe he owed Grandpa because he had been exceptionally mean to him.Oh well,all I know is that the other Gryfindor's envied me because they didn't get complimented on their potions like I did.

ic:Rose: flashback: "Hello, I'm Adrian Baggins." The blue-eyed new girl was sitting at Rose and Freesia's table, directly across from Freesia. "That's Adrian, all right," whispered Danny, the boy on Rose's left. "Teacher's pet. Honestly, even Snape thinks she can do no wrong!" Rose smiled. Her sympathies here were mostly with Adrian Baggins. People had commented on Snape's treatment of Rose, too, when she'd first arrived: he was still very strict with her, but always fair. But as Adrian began to brag about her abilities, Rose saw why Danny was so hostile towards the blue-eyed girl. Her constant bragging was getting on Rose's nerves as well! Yet Adrian didn't speak as one who was intentionally being rude, but as if she simply didn't know any better. Still...as Adrian detailed the compliments she'd received from all the teachers, Rose gave Freesia a disgusted look, and the two girls quickly excused themselves and left the table.

Rose blinked, wondering why the sight of the elves had triggered the memory of Adrian Baggins, of all people! Adrian, whom she'd never spoken to more than once! Rose sighed softly, then listened as the elf began to ask a question.

Luckilly after her potions class Adrian and Snape had break. Adrian stayed in Snape's room after the lesson and thinking she wanted more compliments Snape said, "That was a wonderfully done potion on werewolves you did today. Your's are better than the ones I make for professor Lupin. Maybe he will let you make his instead of me." "That is not why I am here Professor Snape. I wanted a second oppenion(sp) about this dream I had last night," I told him looking from my book."What on earth happened in this dream?" he asked shocked at me having to run to the teacher for help.(AHogwarts gives advanced classes so I had been doing this stuff for years so perfect grades) I told him what happened in my dream. "...and Professor McGonnagle(sp) said to be careful and keep my guard up that it might be a warning." "I agree with her. Be very careful. Do you want me to have little Draco(Draco Malfoy's son my age I decided Harry was my grandpa unless he is in this story if he is it is reg. Draco) and the guys walk with you?" he said after I finished. "No, I will be fine," I told him not wanting to be seen walking with Draco because that would just raise suspicion on my part and make me easier to find by whatever it was.
I reread my grandfather's will where it stated that I should go to Lundon Hogwarts where he went to school and decided to send an owl to my brother that no one but a few teachers and of cource the headmaster knew about. I sent it with Fledggy(Fledgwing) and got a letter back from my brother the next day at mail time. A couple of my friends, my only friends Harold(Ron's son Harry for short) and Elizabeth(Hermionie's daughter Lizz or Lizzy for short) urged me to open it, but I wouldn't. Late I did. It read:

Good to hear from you again. I think that the Professors are right about you dream. So watch out for yourself and be careful. Odd things have happened at that school. "Why were you and your ... friend... in these woods?" asked the elf.

"We were making our way to Lothlorien," Rose said, "and Cody, well, I guess she knew what was about to happen, so she went off alone. And I followed."

"Were the two of you travelling alone, then?"

"No," said Rose, knowing she could not lie to these elves, "there were other companions. Gandalf the Gray--"

At those words, the elf motioned for her to stop speaking. "You are a friend of Gandalf? But why would he let two girls go wandering off in these woods alone?"

"Cody, as you have seen, isn't exactly an ordinary girl," said Rose, a grim expression on her face. "Listen, I have to go after her now, I have to find her!"

The girl who had been on the path walked up to the elves, and said, in a clear, very American accent, "Please let her go. I can answer most of your questions, I think."

Rose glanced at the girl, and her eyes widened in shock. It was none other that Adrian Baggins!

"Adrian?! How did you..."

"I'll tell you later. Gandalf said you need to find Cody."

The elves, who also looked amazed, gave Rose permission to go. Swiftly, she ran to find her werewolf friend -- before anything else could happen!

(not story line) okay so Brandon Greggoy is our older bro and harry is my age.Frodo is my bro in middle earth form and our grandpa is Rudyard Potter a mortal man who I was told was my grandpa. He is actually my step grandpa. Mrs.potter(Harry, Brandon, and my grandmother) remarried.

(storyline) Okay I said changing into a hobbit. "The fellowship minus gandalf fell through this portal thingy. I am a witch and Frodo's sis at the same time. I have been living 2 lives. These people are from anotyher dimension. I think they are going to help me save my grandfather and elves who don't leave well enough alone will be banquished(sp) to live with the dwarves. At least that is what Gandalf says," I tell the elves. "We must believe you," the leader says, "You answered all of the questions we were going to ask. Take us to Gandalf."

We were really going out to seek council with Galadriel about how to get the ring out of our world and back to ME. We were also going to have to get Voldie away from thr ing since he wants to take it for his oen evil purposes.

the girsl fell on the food like the legendary Long Patrol of Salamandastron,(;)) in freesia's favourite books, and they were so grateful that they forgot to leave some for her. she offered some to Gandalf, and he delicately picked a peanut butter cracker. unperturbed, she went back and got her share from professor snape (thanks, professor), vegetables included. she set aside a package of crackers, a chocolate frog, a peppermint, and a small package of dried veggies in her pockets. she did not eat much, hungry as she was, but stepped off the path and sat behind a tree. she put all her thoughts from her and listened. as the close sounds faded, she focused as she had been taught on the farther sounds: a bird's teee-whit tee-whit in the distance, the trees talking in the rustling winds...a burbling in the distance announced to freesia the nearness of a swift flowing stream or brook. fixing on the direction the sound came from, she stood to go back to the clearing. as she turned to go, a blood curdling scream came from that direction. the hair on the back of her neck stood up, and, praying fervently that her friends would all be alive when she arrived, freesia raced back through the trees, her long hair whipping behind her.

I did read part of it there was too much to read though I guess I could have done a flashback. like I said Frodo didn't know he had a sis. I was raised in two dimensions and times, kinda like being reincarnated. on time by elves one time by Grandpa Rudyard(Rudy)I might could have been Sam's sis though nobody knows (I like complicated things, weird for a 13 year old huh)

(storyline I will try to make it simpler but I still like the whole grandpa idea how about we do that on the side you know you get to be my friend (I changed Ron's son to Ron and Hermionie's Daughter to Hermionie) and decide to help me when the basic story is over) I ran back with the elves and took them to Gandalf.
(you guys build on that I will be back I need to check for updates on other stuff)

ic:Rose's equine eyes grew wide in horror. Cody was about to attack a young elf! Rose galloped in between her friend and the elf, and quickly knocked Cody to the ground. She only hoped the boy would get the message and run!

ic: As Rose pushed Cody back, she watched the boy out of the corner of her eye. He hesitated, as if he was trying to decide which was the greater of two dangers, whether he should run or stay still, hidden from whatever other perils he was facing, and hope Rose was able to defend him from Cody.

Run, fool, or you may introduce a new danger to your world! Rose was sure she could save the elven child's life, but not certain she could hold Cody back entirely. And if the werewolf bit the elf, it would be the beginning of a new terror in Middle Earth!

ic: The white horse ran between me and the elf and bucked me to the side. I hit a tree and yelped in pain. I wanted the elf to run away but he still pondered what would be worse.
Well what can be worse then becoming a werewolf vise versa to an orc?
The white horse decided quickly and ran towards the elf and motioned for him(Rather relunctently) To get on her back to safty. The elf looked both horrified and nervouse as I got back up and prepared for another attack. I was still hungry.

bounding into the clearing, freesia was ready for action, having scooped up a club-like stick on the way. she was demanding answers of professor snape (who was very startled indeed) and brandishing her stick in a business-like manner. "Where is Rose?! TELL ME!!! and cody..where is she?! if you don't tell me, i'll...i'll...i'll go looking for them myself!" she glanced over at nott, who was looking decidedly pale, and shook her stick. nott hurriedly pointed off into the woods to her right.
without further thought, freesia ran, ready to kill anything that got in her way. the full moon shone throught the rooftop of the trees as she ran silently as possible. an agonized howl sounded through the silence of the forest to her left. she veered that direction, and the howl came closer, with an underlying thunder beneath it. freesia ducked under the shadows of a tree and pulled herself silently onto a lower hanging tree branch. breathing lightly, she peered through the darkness. then she picked out a low-crouching shadowy form, racing towards her
tree.
she heard a noise in the tree above her, the unmistakeable creak of a bow string. in an instant, she grabbed the boot of the person above her, and sent them tumbling wildly to the ground, their arrow loosed into the air. she jumped in front the fallen person as a dark figure came hurtling towards her.....

she knew who it was. the thought struck her like an arrow. furious and frightened she met cody's onslaught with a temper tantrum. reaching out with her stick, she rapped cody smartly between the ears and twice on her nose. "Cody---Timber---!!!! don't you even dare! i'll smack you again... you curl your lip at me! put those teeth away, i am not little red riding hood's grandmother! the better to eat anyone?! *snorts* you eat anything tonight and, so help me, i'll... oh, go eat an orc if you must!!! but if i catch you trying to eat innocent bystanders ever again, i'll whack you a good one with my stick! come back when your safe....."she added earnestly (as cody slunk away), her cheeks still pink from her tirade.
she turned and picked up the elf (unmistakeable pointed ears, that one), and brushed him off. "sorry about that. dunno what she was thinking...."freesia picked up his bow and gave it an appraising, well-practiced glance."that's all in order. but you're none the worse for the wear, nothing broken, i think...how many fingers am i holding up?" she said waggling two slightly grubby fingers in his face.
"two..." came the astonished answer.
"good. if you're anything like a human, then you'll be fine," she patted his arm, "oh, and that was cody...she can't help it, really...and here's rose," as a white horse galloped up and slid to a stop nearly sitting on her (the horse's, of courses!) haunches, "and i guess that leaves me, freesia," she said, almost as an afterthought. then she began to chastise rose, hand on hip, finger waving ,"rose what did you think you were doing? as if i haven't done enough all day, but i have to chase off after you in foreign woods. now, mind, it was my fault to begin with, not watching you properly... but one of these days, your chestnuts'll be too hot to pull out of the fire! ooooh, my world's turning into a handbasket!" turning her blue gaze on the baffled elf she tried to explain, only confusing them all more. "i'm trying to explain, but all i'm doing is babbling. it happens to me after long, frustrating days. i appologise. i need to sit down. so much for a happy convalescence..."she muttered under her breath, then she looked up at the elf, "so....what is your name?"

ic: I was happy to see the elf get away but at that second was rapped on the nose and behind my ear. I growld.
it was Freesia. She warned me again and I slunked off to a safer spot to wait for the curse to end. I ran off into the forest and ran into a flowing stream that cooled my aching paws and made me feel awake again. I lapped up some water then fell to sleep in the running water.(I know that sounds strange but it sounds like fun)

i don't mind adrian's side of the story much, but the more confusing the storyline gets, the harder it will be to get little details right (example: freesia may end up with black shoulder-length hair, when it was originally orange and long long long!) we might all turn into the Confuzilated Ones if we ent watchful! we'll just have to be careful, because this is an argument in the making!

anyone else seen Two Towers yet? (yeah right...what kind of dumb question is THAT?!) a good job on the ents and battle scenes...at least they're realistic!!! the sound track is gorgeous. it has some really moving string parts; a simple yet complicated theme built upon the underlying strings. it's kind of like Shastakovich. beautiful!(go find the Lenningrad Symphony by Shastakovich and tell me it isn't magnificent! we're playing that in All-State here in texas. who likes classical music? *raises hand*MEEEE!) what are your (that encompases everyone who cares to answer in w.w.& h.)favorite quotes? mine are:

I sighed with releif but knew I would be questioned by these strange heroes.

There was a howl in the distance followed by another from the opposite direction. One I recognized as Swift, I wasn't sure about the other one(the other one is Cody0. I ran to get Swift knowng that if I had my wolf with me I had atleast some protection from any danger that I could immagine.

by the way peope in ME are very aware of Werewolves. They consider them as the name of Wargs. People keep thinking Wargs are regular wolves but regular wolves in Quenya is Draug.

ic:Elf: These people are strange! I thought to myself. I should leave quickly before all this comotion attracks our guards and make them come out to inspect. Well they probably are already on their way. I should leave.
I started to turn but was caught by my shoulder by the wolf warder.
"Were do you think your goig? WE need you to help us get back to camp. We er... lost the trail. Plus you can keep and elf ear out for Cody just incase she returnes unexpected."
"But I.." I tried to protest.

I listend entintivly for a sighn of the wolf but heard nothing. I led the two girls who engaged themsleves in a conversation of weird sorcery. But I turnd my head and told them that I needed quiet to hear any danger. They shut up at once. (Very relunctantly)
At that moment when all seemed quiet I heard the sniffing of a wolf and foot falls of a group comming our way. Iquickly pushed the two girls out of the way and hid them and myself in a grove of trees tightly grown together.
I waited for the appraocher.

ic: Freesia spoke very forcefully to the elf, making him come with them. And Rose knew that when Freesia had so thoroughly made up her mind to do something, absolutely NOTHING was going to convince her otherwise.
"Don't worry, Cody won't hurt anyone," whispered Freesia, "look, the night's almost over, an' we c'n find Cody better if we know where WE are."

Then (and Rose knew Freesia was trying to cheer her up a little), Freesia began teaching Rose the charm she had learned from Snape only a few hours ago.

Suddenly they heard someone coming. The elf grabbed them and pushed them into a grove of trees.

What does he think we need to hide from? thought Rose. She made a note to ask the elf about that when it was safe. Until then...

ic: I found Swift and brought him back to the others. I now understood what the Professors had meant when they had said that my dream could have been warning me of something.

ic: Cody: I transformed back into a human agian breathing heavely torn up but still able to walk. I stumbled a few paces and listend for a sighn of hope for finding my friends. Nothing.
I finally gave way to my weakness and lack of strength and fell to the ground unconcious.
I woke up in a soft white bed feeling a bit more healthier and stronger. I sat up to find I was once more surrounded by beautiful tree tops and white marble stone rooms.
A tall beautiful lady approached my bed side and I found she was an elf. I froze in pure happiness. This was an elf. A real elf that was not attempting to kill me but being freindly.
The elf purred some water into a cup and let me drink then explained to me of my arrival to this room and safty.

ic: Aragorn: Dumbledor led us to an odd looking sword and told us to each put our hands on a place on the sword. We did so and as we did we felt a jolt then we were pulled into a dimension that made me want anduril in my hand more than anything. as we stumbled to a stop we noticed we were in a forest. I laughed with joy. It was Carahdras!

ic: harpbrindle approached freesia and the two held a quickly whispered conversation. "do you know all of the six in the company approaching us?"
asked the elf.
freesia, slightly irritated, was about to whisper a sarcastic "yes" when she realized that there were only five in the company from hogwarts. and three were missing. cody was off wandering the woodlands (hopefully eating nothing more than a stray orc or two), and, arriana and snape she had left back in the path-side clearing with gandalf. hesitantly she answered,"um...no. i saw gandalf and snape and ari must be with them, but i don't know who else would have joined them."
harpbrindle whispered "see, i told you! there is no telling who joined them and whether they be friend or foe. and the slinking shadow bothers me. it tracks us," he said sounding uncomfortable.
freesia gave him a calculating glance,"i have no reason to fear being tracked by my friends and guardians. nor has rose, and neither should you, unless you are trying to keep out of sight...unless you fear being tracked for some reason..."
the elf wrinkled his nose and shifted his weight from foot to foot uncomfortably. freesia thought he looks like the small child that has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar when he was told to leave the cookies alone. then,"do my words hit too near the mark?" he was about to answer when freesia silenced him with a hand motion."rose and i have found our group now. we shall leave you now as we decided earlier and not call attention to you and the direction you go. we do this to repay our debt to you for leading us this far. you are strange, mr. harpbrindle," she searched his face until she was satisfied (harpbrindle winced under the scrutiny), finishing," though it may be because you are an elf. i have never met elves of your kind before; only the house elves back in my homeland. but i would not be indebted to you. we'll leave now. farewell."
the elf grimaced as freesia turned to pick up her satchel. then, drawing himself to his full height and with a hand on his dagger, he said "i do not believe things will happen as such. you will not leave until i say!"

Rose heard herself almost as if it were someone else speaking. Her voice: calm and soft, yet very dangerous, reminded her of someone. Rose felt, somehow, that this should be important. If only she could remember who she sounded like!

"Right. I'll make a bargain with you, then, Harpbrindal: you let us go, and we will let you go. I don't like it when people try to trap me and my friends."

Rose hoped that the elf would take her threats seriously and release them; Gandalf had told the girls not to use spells on any inhabitant of Middle Earth unless absolutely necessary.

ic:elf: The two strange creatures spottted their group members but I still feared they would tell my kin about where I was headed. I rubbed my dagger in thought. Maybe I could scare them out of telling. Or maybe they won't say anythng. I was not acting like myself any more I was scared and desperate to leave un noticed. When the girl got down from the treee and said they were to leave me now I took my dagger out and threatend them mildly not to go in till I said. I wanted to tell them not to tell my kin of me. But they as soon as saw the threat took their sticks and which produced red sparks in anger threatend me to leave NOW. I put my dagger back and said mildly. "don't tell my kin of my werebouts. Ok?"

ic: freesia heard what harpbrindle said. she was just wondering if it would it be better for her to tackle him around the knees or to be defiantly loud so the approaching people would hear her. then she (feeling stupid) remembered her wand. she zipped it out seconds after rose had hers. "don't hurt him," freesia whispered, so that only rose would hear her. "he hasn't hurt us yet so we only want him to see our weapons are better than his. just scare him a bit."
she shot sparks at the elf and rose took her cue, saying, "Are you certain you wish to threaten freesia and me? it seems rather unwise."
rose looked paused and looked puzzled for a few seconds, then said," right. i'll make a bargain with you, then, harpbrindle: you let us go, and we will let you go. i don't like it when people try to trap me and my friends."

for a moment, it looked as though the elf would voice an objection, but then he slid his dagger back into its sheath and simply said "do not tell my kin of my whereabouts, alright?"
"we will tell no one...," replied freesia after a moment's thought and nodded consent from rose."if you would like to preceed us?" freesia gracefully inclined her head and offered a mocking half-bow, a courtly gesture reminiscent of castles and knights. but the elf shook his head and said "my way lies through these trees. good bye and good luck."
freesia shook her head (hardly believing that he was wishing them luck after just threatening them), and politely (but earnestly) answered, "good fortune go with you harpbrindle and may we meet again under better, um...more comfortable circumstances. farewell."

"Where are they Swift?Have you found them yet?" I asked following my wolf with Gandalf and co. right on my heels. "I think he has either found them or lost us," I said as he started running towards a clump of trees. He stopped short listening to the voices that we could all hear. "Well, he has found something," I said.

Rose and Freesia ran after the others, both nearly tripping over roots and twigs along the way. They caught up with the rest of the group in a little while.

There was Gandalf, Arriana Nott, Snape, and ... Rose winced. Adrian Baggins and her wolf, Swift, were traveling with the company. Well, that explained why there had been more people in the company than there should've been!

The elf had said that there were six in the company, and Rose counted only five. Who was the sixth?! And where was Cody? The sun had risen, and the young werewolf should be human again by now. So why hadn't she returned?

"Hello, we're over here!" yelled Rose. This time
Freesia took Rose's cue, shouting at the top of her lungs. Naturally, it didn't take long for the others to notice them. The larger group waited as Rose and Freesia came running over.

"Where were you two?!" asked Snape, sounding very angry, but (to Rose's surprise) genuinely worried.

"I was trying to protect Cody, and Freesia, it seems," Rose gave her friend a wry grin, "was trying to protect me. But I lost Cody, and the two of us couldn't find her again. Especially since we came across an unexpected delay."

Oh, I hope Cody's okay...

ic: Cody: I was fed alittle food and was aloud to explore the new world I had stumbled into. It was magnifisent. THe roof was all leaves and the tops of trees with rays of sunlight shining through the openings like golen sunrays. It was beautiful. I wondered what had happen to the co. If they were all right.

I knelt by Swif and we roughhoused for a little bit. I could tel by her eyes that Rose wasn't very happy to see me. I wasn't happy to be here, well not very.

ic: freesia bowed one last time as he faded into the darkness. then she let out her breath (not realizing that she had been holding it), and sat down in the leaves. rose sighed and said,"now all we have to do is go join professor snape and arianna..."

"and gandalf..." added freesia. she wrinkled her nose, remembering the smell of his pipe weed,"it's not that i don't like him,"she confided to rose,"but he can't be called gandalf the grey just for the color of his robes... i mean, his lungs have got to be black from all that smoking..."she shuddered. "my great aunt died of lung cancer....or it could have been old age... maybe a little of both... gah... it doesn't make any difference, she's just as dead...come on, rosie-posy,"freesia said lifting her protesting bones off of the ground and sticking out a grubby hand to help rose up. rose accepted the proffered hand, wearily hauling herself to her feet, "let's get back with cheery ol' professor snape!"

the two girls headed back to their group at a run, masking any sound of the retreat of the elf (someone needs to write a classical piece about that!) by stumbling along in the half-dark. freesia, who saw well in the dark, was better off than rose, and kept an eye on the footing ahead. "hello, we're over here!" shouted rose, and freesia joined in, making her yells heard as well. freesia winced as they ripped through bushes and delicate saplings, tearing leaves off in their haste to reach the group, thus leaving a trail of fluttering leaves and wounded shrubbery in their wake. she had a soft spot for plants and hated to injure them. mentioning this to rose, they both pulled and tucked their capes in as they ran, causing less damage as they went.

freesia's wand, gripped enthusiastically in her right hand, was so excited that it was shooting purple and gold sparks before them, lighting their way. they leaped over a half covered log to tumble into their companions at full speed. when snape asked where they had been (he sounded worried in spite of himself), freesia quit paying attention and left rose to explain all that had passed to their irritable teacher while she viewed the rest of the group. gandalf, looking satisfied if still a bit dour, leaned on his staff to the left of the group, out of the danger of the merriment. arianna happily pounded rose on the back before realizing what she was doing, tucking her hands into her pockets, and backing behind snape embarrassedly. adrian baggins crouched, playing with her familiar, swift the wolf. for some reason, freesia wasn't surprised to see them, but that didn't influence how glad of their presence she was. there were two elves with them, and they came over to be introduced. she bowed at the first elf (who was presented as lyidraneal) and stepped back, startled, as the second elf came forward. eyes wide, she clutched the neck of her robes (was anyone else as surprised as she was?), stumbling backwards. the elf came closer, looking concerned, and offering his hand. before he could be introduced, freesia bumped into rose who turned to look. there was a quick intake of breath as she saw, too. freesia stepped clear of everyone (particularly the hand that was still outstretched) and whispered,"....harpbrindle?!.."

ooc: ya, i know it's a little late, but who cares! okie, c'mon people let's pull it back together! oh, and sicirus...in response to your question of why harpbrindle would want to threaten the girls, i ask: why would he be trying to leave Lothlorien unnoticed and be so terrified of being discovered that he threatened them? can ye answer me that, buckoe?

ooc; He was running away because he did not enjoy staying in one location his whole life. he wanted to explore ME but was held back because his parents believed he was to young for such a thing to do.

ic; I wandered away from the two girls and listend as their footfalls faded away into the distance towards the trial. I listend for any other sounds then made my way towards the stream Nimrodel. i stopped at the stream to listen to its voice and removed my shoes to step once more in its silver clear flow. It was shockingly cold yet pleasent. It heald what weariness I had and gave me strength I needed to continue.
But when I crossed the streram i stopped and thought about how much those two girls were wanted to get back to their himes and familly. Their father Snape and Gandalf.
I always wanted to meet Gandalf. I thought to myself. Then my thoughts turned to how worried my parents woouuld be about me and how broken hearted they would be about my disappearence.

I sighd and decided maybe it was a bad idea to runaway. Maybe I could get my adventure by joining Gandalf. He went on lots of journeys. At that I ran across the forest towards the trail not stopping for anything. I hoped easily over the logs and small plants and rocks. I burst through the last bush startling the a tall man with shoulder length hair. A wolf growld at me and a hobbit hid behind a tall amn and elf dressed in gray.

The elf looked at me first angry then releived. Before he coyuld say anything the two girls stumbled out of the forest gasping for breath laughing at the sight of their familly. ( my character doesen't know that they are not your familly) One of the girls, the won who called herself Freesia stumbled back at the sight of me. I extended my hand and help her catch her balance.

ooc: i was actually thinking the same idea. Want me to change it and use a twin. Elrond has twins for sons. Cody is with the elves. She was picked up after her transformation and was put to healing in Charadras.

ic:This is the new addition to the story replacing the last post i did. Plus I am to lazy right now to edit. In short I have no homework tonight.

I left the two girls in hast hoping to never look opone the lands of Lothlorien in till I am forgotten.
"Harpbrindle?" asked a young girl who had stumbled backwards from the sight of me.
"My brother? No sorry me' lady but I am belegborn(Mighty tree. I always wandered what Beleg meant. Oh and no their names don't show simularities like most siblings)
I grabbed the young girl by the arm and helped her balance upright again. She looked at me and then shook her head. "Your twins?"
"Yes." I replied laughing.
"By the way you seem to know of my brother we have not seen him for some time. Or at least since yeater eve. Did you see him anywere? Our parents are worried for his safty. My brother seeks adventure and freedom from what he calls "Prison among trees and hights. He threatend to runaway but we did not think he would."

Rose winced internally. She knew Freesia was on the spot now, and wanted to come to her rescue. But Rose was very bad at lying to people, and she would have to lie to this elf to answer his question, for she had promised Harpbrindle she wouldn't tell his kin "of his whereabouts."

So in the end, Rose decided it was best to let Freesia handle the question. At any rate, Rose soon had her own problems to worry about.

ic: "...harpbrindle?!..." whispered freesia. the elf frowned, and shook his head, saying, "my brother? no, i am sorry, my lady, but i am belegborn."
belegborn reached out and grasped freesia's forearms, steadying her as she balanced her weight more evenly on both feet. relieved, freesia looked up at the elf, blue eyes wide. she shook her head in awe of the resemblance, and asked,"you are twins, then?"
"yes," replied the elf with a merry laugh. he's much happier than harpbrindle. maybe it has to do with not being afraid of whatever it is that he was afraid of...realized freesia. then a thought struck her, she'd already given harpbrindle away, when she and rose had promised not to. an excuse had to be thought up quickly,....or it was raps for harpbrindle.

but the twin was speaking,"...you seem to know of my brother, but we have not seen him for some while... not since yester eve. have you seen him anywhere? our parents are worried for his safety, because he threatened to leave. freesia glanced at rose, who reddened slightly and turned away. no help there, but then perhaps it was better as such; they couldn't muddle anything and mix their words up this way. but they would have to get their stories straight before either of them was questioned..."oh---ah--talk about deja vu!" she burst out, on a sudden inspiration, telling what she hoped sounded like a plausible explanation,"i don't know harpbrindle, exactly, but i have been having this dream lately, with lots of elves in it. then, suddenly, i see a face that looks just like you. the elf is speaking , but the only word i hear is harpbrindle....so i've just been calling my dream character harpbrindle. i hope it was only circumstancial... i wouldn't want to offend anyone..." she trailed off, waiting to see if her words had a desireable effect.the story about the dream wasn't entirely untrue. she reasoned, yes it did have elves, many elves, and then one standing out in the crowd. the elf (who looked nothing like either harpbrindle or belegborn) was speaking, and it was true that the only words she could hear in the dream were spoken by him. nevermind that they were, "Et tu, Brute.", but no one else needed to know that.

the elf appeared slightly perplexed. then,"what is dee-javuh?" he asked.
she almost laughed in relief. glad of a question that she could answer, freesia carefully pronounced the word for the elf, and explained,"day-jah voo. it's a.... ahh--premonition...seeing or dreaming something before it happens. so, at any rate, mayhap i should pay more attention to my dreams! i beg pardon for my less than cordial greeting, i was merely startled." she inclined her head in a polite gesture, half nod, half bow, and the elf bowed in return and murmered something to the effect of "it was nothing, my lady...no need to appologise." before straightening and stepping a little to her right.
as the rest of the group returned to greeting each other, a voice whispered in her ear, "i hope only that i do not startle you so much in the future, lady. it was rather disconcerting."

belegborn's light blue eyes gleamed with suppressed laughter, and freesia sheepishly grinned before answering,"i hope so, too. it was rather uncomfortable to have to explain something like that... i don't usually share my dreams with anyone, but an explanation seemed to be necessary at that moment. and i'm not lady, so don't call me one. lady implies grace and hospitality. i prefer falling out of trees, off of horses, into ponds, and wearing breeches to skirts (skirts are so impractical!), so just call me freesia... everyone else does." her eyes glinted with mischief and she put her hands on her hips before saucily adding,"or else!"
belegborn chuckled before good-naturedly agreeing that 'lady ' was too formal for companions on the road. then, rose walked over with both of the girl's packs, pulling out a blanket and handing it to freesia. the elf, flashing rose a friendly smile, said,"goodnight, and rest well!", before sauntering back to the main group where a small fire had been started beside the road.
"good story," whispered rose, vehemently," now, let's get ours straight. we can say we just got lost..."
the girls put their heads together, as they sat on their bedrolls, planning, until arianna joined them with plates of stew for dinner.

ooc: okie, so i had nothing else to do except write, but maybe we'll actually get somewhere now! and gawblimey, i can't spell! it's *apologise*! i apologise for my misspelling! ;)

The company mades its way towards the edge of the woods of Lorien(ooc;This is just going to move things up for them a bit)
"This looks like foot prints of those wizard folk."said Gimli peeriong at the forest trail.
"They must have fallen into Middle Earth and Gandalf must be leading them into safty." replied Aragorn.
"We shall follow and seek it ourselves. I would love to see the lands of my kin." replied Legolas.
The company started off into the forest fair and rich under the dimshinning sun.

ic: Belegborn: The new two members of the company were strange to me and the one who wished to be called Freesia tod me tails of her land. I listend for I had never heard of the kin of the wizards or witches. The company sang many songs some of elven toungh and some of the toungh of men.
The songs the one called Snape and Freesia as well as Rose and Adrian were strange and fun to sing. Simple but made you laugh at all of the verses.

ic: Belegborn: Snape who seemed to be a bit of a leader of the strange group was declared to me as their teacher. He was notof my trusting though I was reassured by Gandalf that he was good. (At heart he added quickly) Snape seemed to favor a girl named Nott aalot and neglected Rose and Freesia and Adrian as though they were below him in a strange mannor.
But I liked the three girls who never shutted up no matter how much I wanted them to(Just kidding:D )
But I liked the three girls each telling me things that I would have never found out of anyone else. Adrian strocked her large wolf and listend silently as Rose told of an accident in Potuions class that made them both laugh out loud merrily.
Rose then looked at Freesia, Her expression turned to fear and worry.
"What about Cody?"
"Yeh we never did see her again after her run in with the er.... "
"Runawayhorse." Added Rose quickly remenbering the promise of the elfs identity.

ooc: Also, Snape is not neglecting either Rose or Adrian. Adrian is something of an all-around teacher's pet (not really her fault) and, well, let's just say Snape does have reasons to not ignore Rose.

"Don't you dare try to go after her alone," snapped Snape. (couldn't resist that pun. LOL.)

Freesia nodded, and the determined look on her face told Rose that if she did try that, Freesia would follow her.

Rose sighed. "All right, but we do need to find her, you know."

"We will all search for your friend. None of you should leave the group again. You are not familiar with this world." said Gandalf.

"If we look for Cody Timber together, will you agree not to wander off by yourself again, Rose?" asked Snape. "And Freesia," he added as an afterthought.

But assent was not an option here. It was required, and both girls knew it. If no one else could prevent them from exploring on their own, Gandalf or the elves would.

Rose nodded. She was still very worried about Cody, though, and her concern showed plainly on her face.

freesia crossed her fingers behind her back and said,"oh, okay. i won't go now."
snape didn't notice the emphasis on the last word. rose did, and she nudged freesia hard in the ribs with an elbow. rose raised her eyebrows menacingly; freesia grinned back impishly. as snape turned to address gandalf, rose grabbed freesia's arm and yanked her over into the shadow of a tree. "what are you doing?" she whispered harshly.

freesia put her grin back in her pocket and said,"this is a precaution. i said i wouldn't go now. so i wasn't lying. i was promising not to go at that instant. but they (meaning the rest of the group) don't seem to think that finding cody is pressing. gandalf said to be careful of everything we say and do; that means be careful of our promises. and if something happens to either snape or gandalf, then i won't be bound by my word to sit on my todd while the world goes on without me. I can go looking for cody. you and ari and adrian can come looking for me. and if you happen to stumble across cody, then what a coincidence! besides,"freesia added, noting the increasingly stubborn look on rose's face,"i may not even need to go looking. if we find cody soon enough. i just want to make sure i can do something."

ari called and waved her hand at them, motioning them back towards the group. freesia gripped rose's arm before she could leave, saying,"come on, rose. i may not even have to call on that promise. and in the mean time, i'll be a good little girl and behave myself.... i'll be very have!"
rose smiled and gave freesia a quick hug,"okay little imp, i just hope i don't have to go running after you...you know how i hate to be a follower..."
ooc: sicirus.....i wasn't trying to offend you(or whatever i did that upset you). it's just hard to joke over the internet. i still could have put smilies in(my bad), but i'm used to talking with my other friends over the net, and they don't need smilies to know that i'm joking. my apologies, sah. i'll remember that in the future, and i hope you'll forgive a gel her wheezes(jokes). and by the way, it is rather an art form to be able to insult. you just have to know what to say, and when the time is right to let one fly. the way to throw people off who are insulting you is to accept it and agree with it whole heartedly(out loud).

that's the way to do it, sah. never let it get under your skin. i've had plenty of insults thrown at me(believe me), and i've only recently figured out how to keep them from bothering me.

Then Rose thought back to exactly what she had said to Snape, and her eyes sparkled with mischief.

"I remember now! I only said I wouldn't wander off alone. So if you do go, you'd better take me with you." She paused, then put her hands on her hips. "Otherwise, I'll ... I'll go with Adrian Baggins!"

That made Freesia smile, and she agreed to take Rose with her if possible.

"After the trouble you got into today, you might be watched," warned Freesia.

Rose nodded, disliking that idea, but knowing it could be true. Of all the girls who'd gone off alone or gotten in trouble on this journey, Rose had done so the most. And the adults in the group didn't seem to think she was capable of taking care of herself.

The look on Rose's face became more stubborn than ever as she resolved to think of some way to get away if she had to, whether someone was keeping an eye on her or not. Of course she wouldn't be alone. She'd go with Freesia, or if that wasn't possible, she would go with Adrian. Or Arriana.

In fact, Rose could tell from the somewhat familiar look in Arriana Nott's eyes that the Slytherin girl was already thinking of leaving the group. Not that she necessarily intended to find Cody. But Arriana hadn't made a promise, and Rose doubted she would care even if she had.

For Rose it was much different. She knew exactly what Snape had meant when he made her promise not to wander alone. It troubled her to break even the spirit of that promise, but finding Cody was important. If the group didn't go looking for her, Rose and Freesia would.

ic: The two girls explained to me of Cody's tale(yay I spelled it right) and I thought of what the elven guards would do if they found a werewolf of all creatures roaming the woods near Charadras. But if she returned to her human state before then than maybe she will not be killed but be helped.
"We must try to find your friend before a different creature does." I said calmly.
"Yeh but how will we be able know were she went?" asked freesia uncertainly. She sat next to Rose pondering this question while Rose pondered the direction she ran when they had chased her away.
"I beleive we can find her if we split up." I offered through the okward silence.
"Wow a regular Scooby doo idea." Muttered Arrian sarcasticly. She had been listening unnoticed.
"Who is Scooby doo?" I asked but before I received an answer Rose's head lifted and I swaer I saw a gleam in her eyes. Or was that just the gammaray that came through the forest? Oh well she found the answer.
"She went towards the stream." She creid.

Frodo: I'll have to agree with you on that one, Sam.(ooc: Don't hurt me, but it seems right that even now this would happen) *Before we got to far into the boarders, an elf halted us*

ic: "that's southwest," said freesia. everyone looked at her, surprised. "what?!" she said, when she noticed everyone else looking at her."i took woodland classes at my summer camp, okay? but it's my compass up here that tells me if i'm right or not," she tapped her head.
everyone else exchanged skeptical glances. putting her best Keladry Yamani-lump face on, freesia said," prescious time's a-wasting. we need to start looking."
with that she determinedly headed down the path, the rest of the group trundling behind her.

You did not miss anything that involves reading ALL these pages.
All that happend was that some of the witches and a professor fell into ME and left the fellowship at Hogwarts next you guess finally follow with the help of Dumbledor. Then all you guess did next was go to the edge of the forest of Lorien and get greeted by an elf Guard.
Nothing really to go in detail about. The rest is just the adventure of the group that got there first and are on therer way to see Galadriel.
So don't go it will be fine. Plus with you back maybe we can get the story back on the road.:D

Rose, who really did hate being a follower, caught up with Freesia very quickly. About twenty minutes into their expedition, Rose whispered to Freesia,

"Are you sure you know where we're going?"

Freesia gave her an indignant look.

"Of course!"

After that, Rose trudged along in silence for a while, worrying about Cody. At times, to distract herself from her fears, she tried to figure out how to convince her teachers that she could take care of herself ... that she'd basically been doing that ever since her father left.

Rose's mother had always seemed fragile. Often their roles seemed to be reversed, as if Rose were the parent and her mother the child.

Thinking about her mother made Rose sad, but the memories of Mum were mostly beautiful ones; so she kept thinking of her, searching for Cody all the while.

Rose had never known much about her mother's family. Well, Rose knew Mum had an older brother, but he was rarely mentioned. Rose pretended she knew all about her mother's family, because it seemed ... safer, somehow, than telling other people how little she truly knew of her mother.

Rose was terrible at lying, except when it came to this one area. She wished, not for the first time, that her mother had not been quite so mysterious.

I didn't really know who she was...

Rose tripped over a branch in her path and fell to the ground. That made her stop reminiscing very fast.

"You okay, Rose?" Three people spoke at once.

Rose smiled a little. "Yes, I'm all right." She got up, dusted herself off, and walked back to the front of the group, ready to continue the search for Cody.

ooc: thank you Mathron! by the way, i'm back (could you tell) and i am now part of history! i can officially say that i was the 47th top violinist in Texas All-State, 2003....i can also say i am officially spoiled, because i want our local youth orchestra to sound just as good. but i think that's hoping for a LOT....anywho!

ic: freesia walked, head bowed, brows knitted, searching the ground for any sign of cody's passing. it was tiring and frustrating work. she was chiding herself crossly for saying anything about going southwest, thinking cody could have started out going southwest and changer her mind! she could have gone anywhere! we've probably missed her trail already, scuffing over any paw marks or indications of her passage in our haste and clumsiness. she probably went any direction but the way we're traveling... freesia started to heave a flustered sigh when an indentation in the soft ground caught her eye. she put out an arm to halt rose, but rose didn't notice until she walked into it.

freesia raised a finger to her lips and said,"look at the outline. it's a boot print. left foot, see the outline. very skinny, so it's probably an elf's (or someone else with skinny feet); not human though," she said remorsefully, looking at the sizeable tennis shoes she was wearing, "human feet just don't come that way. it isn't that old either; see the earth hasn't dried out much around the edges. we're following someone even though we don't mean to."
rose was tired, mucky, chilly and as good as lost in a forest of trees whose canopy she couldn't see through. understandably, in her present condition, she was short-tempered,"who cares if we're following some old coot of an elf!"she burst out."we only want to find cody. and i can't even hear the rest of the group anymore. only that bothersome stream up ahead; it's so loud that i can't hear myself think!"

"it's just as well that we're away from the group." said freesia, leaning forward and plucking something off of a bush to the right of the foot print. it was a tuft of grey and white hair, coarse and relatively short. she rose from her crouch and directed her path towards the gurgling of the stream. within a minute, the two girls reached the moonlit bank of a small brook. stepping down to the edge, freesia pointed out two pawprints in the wet mud at the edge of the water. retracing her steps up the bank, she found what she was looking for. the toe-print of a boot, concealed in the damp loam of the forest floor. rose felt a shiver run up the back of her neck, and she peered through the glare of a no-longer-full frost moon. she felt unaccountably exposed.
unaware of rose's discomfort, freesia spoke. "we care who we are pursuing, because whomever we are trailing," she said deliberately, her grim, confident eyes squarely meeting rose's unsure eyes ,"is following after cody."

ic: Aragorn: We followed the elf untill we came upon a clearing were five people stood. I reconnised Gandalf at once and another man and the gilr. But the two others were elves who greeted the guiding elf with a smile. Gandalf and I embraced in happiness and Frodo ran up to Gandalf and was too happy for words.
Ganda;f explained to us what had happend and were they were about to go.
"Our little companions have left the camp and must have gone off to search for the one they called Cody. Cody has been missing for some time now and I am guessing is safely with the elves as news has told me. We must head off to Caradhras for they shall be led there on their hunt and we shall meet them there.
They whole group after a brief rest started off again on the trail to Caradhras.
The eloves reminded me off my sweet Arwen who awaited me back in Rivendell. Her dark eyes flashed into my mind as the sun glowed gently on my back. (ok this ought to make things easier since we are all together now.)
ic:Cody: I looked around the empty room looking for a sighn of movement or someones presence. I was eager to get up and explore my new suroundings ever since my eyes opend to the shadowy tree tops and rays of soft sunshing. The elves did not allow me to get up for they wanted me to rest but I was not able to stay still for a long time in one place. Energy flowed through me and curiosity. As soon as I decided that no one was around I swung my feet out of bed and stood up wobbley but against gravity.
I arm was still stiff and abit pianful but nothing I could not live with for a short time. I wandred out of the room and looked up at the cieling of sheltering branches and leaves. It was truely a magnifisent(sp) sight. I wondered what became of my friends and that elf. I hoped they could find their way here to this wonderful land.

for the love of pete! will somebody resurrect this thread? i've done it every time, lol! we didn't come this far to have the hogwarts company die in middle earth! k., it's your turn to write. then it's my turn again unless somebody else wants a turn....etc. really, we should see this through, even if the rest of the company is caught by orcs and beheaded! freesia would find a way through and give the warning and never do magic again.....it isn't the ending i think we imagined for our story, so lets do something with it, and at least give it a whopping end if nothing else!

ooc: Er... sorry to sound mean but .. it would be nice if you could post something that would move the company along and give us something to have a typing spree over. If you have typers block its understandable but it is hard to post what to do next after posting just the thoughts of a character vice versa to actions and events that could cause a link to an event. ic: Cody: I sat in bed long enough. My back was stiff and I wanted to make sure my friends were ok. i made my way to the edge of the platform and saw a ladder of branches leading down to the ground. it was a long way down but I knew I was more than able to do it. I climbed down slowely trying not to catch attention or fall. I climbed for about 6 minutes and reached the gorund with a small thump.
I looked around and found that the guards must still be with the company and I could easily follow the trail. I walked for about a half a mile before hearing voices ahead of me. I hid behind a tree but when I saw who it was I cried out in joy. I ran over to my two startled but smilling friends.

the three girls linked arms, freesia's orange head in between cody's ash blond and rose's tawny walnut-brown, and they picked their way through the darkened trees. "so," said freesia to cody," where were you?"
cody's face became awestruck as she remembered the beauty of the place she had been in,"i was with the elves."

"Were is Snape and the others?" I asked but was given the clue that they had no idea and had just left to fiond me.
"Oh" I responded before an answer was given.
"The place I was in is not far from here and maybe the Lady of Light is still there. I mean I was cured by the elves and could catch that strangers were in the woods nearby. I think they were either talkingabout you or our other group. They also said the fellowship of the ring was with them. Ithink they figured out how to leave Hogwarts and get back home. No doubt helped by our own Dumbleodre." I said snickering at the thought of our wierd but kind headmaster.
"Bet Snape has gone baslitic. He hasen't taken points away from another house for nearly a week and school is still in. " We all laughed at this and started off to find a good camping area since it was starting to get dark and woods shadowed the small compony like a wing blocking the sun by a large bird.
