Okay everybody, I've taken the liberty to create a discussion thread for our Tolkien Lovers Anonymous RPG started by Laurelyn. In here we can discuss all we want to discuss about our RPG, being: questions, possible next moves, errors and the apparent inevitable drawings. :) It keeps the other thread from being OOC over much. Go us!

Ummm... I'm new to this RPG thing, and I don't have anything to do with your Tolkien Lover's Anonymous RPG, but just out of curiosity, what the heck does OOC mean? I've seen it in several RPGs and I wondered what it meant. Maybe someone can help me.

it just means we're saying something that's not directly to do with the storyline

oooo, draw me too please! I am a hobbit...have short (just below shoulder) dark hair (mine is straight but occasionally has some wave...I prefer wave, really), and I look sort of irish...if that helps at all. No glasses or some such, and hair can just be down...or if you want an extra challenge, stick it up in a bun-like style with a plastic spork and a pencil through it.

Yeah, it's your fire extinguisher. I liked it so much I decided to immortalise it. :) Maybe you can steel a new one in Meduseld so you're armed in the battle at Helm's Deep :) Just an idea though.... no strings attached.

Oh well, drawing is my one and only decent talent. Might as well exploit it. It took me over 9 years of saterday art school and 5 years of individual practise to have a little drawing skills.

Drawings update: Tanoliel is the next one on the list.

One of my talents on my very short list of talents (TM) is drawing. I just drew a picture of the pschyciatrist's office in school (I was supposed to be reviewing for exams O.o). How do can I put it up where you can see it? :confused:

if it's under a certain limit (10k?) you can, when you post, go to the bottom where it says attach file, and browse on your computer and upload it. Or you can make a quick pathetic site on geocities or something and post LOTSA drawings there so we can all see them! :D

I have been getting out a sketchbook I used to draw plants in, and drawing odd creatures with two spindly legs, arms that look like blocks of wood, and heads that look like bowls of noodles. :rolleyes: I don't think drawing is a talent of mine.


Sometime, when the TLA is done *gasp* I will print it out, edit it, delete the OOCs and typing errors and then perform it.

Species:Faerie, (she wasn't originally made for Middle earth stuff and I saw no reason to change the species.)

Other:She has wings, like the type you see on dragonflies.

Then the ents can go to "Headphones Deep" But Tano, Willow and Cleaonic can stay to turn Saurokatts empire into a peaceful computer land. They could even set up a free web service. Peace and Prosperity to all!

Why do we have to stick to the storyline? We already have a living gandalf who is going to mordor and a boromir/eomer in one and a frodo/gollum in one... why cant Saruman turn to the good side? It's be more fun with free net access...

We did wander from the plot on numerous previous occasions. But let us at least follow the basic lines of the plot. Details can be changed.

If Saurokatt surrenders how will we have a chance to wreck Verizonguard? You don't usually wreck somebody's place after the owner surrenders. It also rules out any possible Scouring of the Shire or any other place we started from. :rolleyes: :)

Sauokatt the Clear, Distributer of Cell Phones in Pretty Purple

Plastic Wrap. Meanwhile, Grima could be running the Shire,

making another villian to battle when the hobbits return home.

I don't think Gandalf going off to Mt. Nokia is what I'd call "details", but it was my idea... And let Katt do what she wants!...And I think the Counselor's office is the Shire. It's where we started out from, at least. :rolleyes:

Mmm, the counselor's office is in the real world where we started. But since the two worlds are merging through the power of the one Mobile Phone it can be anywhere we want it to be. Ain't that neith? ;)

And that brings us to the question of what exactly will we do after wards, with the counselor and ourselves. Where will we all stay and go? will there be a sequel or a prequel? will we be evil and go back to Rivendell to bug Elrond? Will Aragren marry one of the twins instead of Arwen? questions like that. Hey! After the cellowship is completed want to go back in time and parody the War of the Jewles?!?!!!!

Haha! I've read the whole Sil and more than half of the Unfinished Tales, too! Lucky me. I wouldn't want to parody those, though. It would be a little TOO irreverant for me somehow.
