Yes - but the first time on this page someone asked from the wrong book, someone else addressed the matter within 8 minutes. The second exchange all took place between the time I left for work in the morning and when I got home in the evening.

Besides... like the "Riddle Game" - once someone tries to give an answer, isn't it an implicit acceptance of the question? Isn't that in "The Rules"? ;)

Yep, if I'm around I try to help. The point being, I'm not responsible for this area, but I try to help when I can.

For a 'call out' on missing something, the mods of that section are the proper ones. :p

Anyway - it seems outside Moderator responsibilities to verify that any question asked in a trivia game is from the specified source. This is something the players can generally handle well enough themselves.

"Ring finger" is the name for it; it's the one next to the pinkie.

The New Year, according to Gandalf, corresponds to two other dates.

What are those dates?

AND

In Gondor the New Year now falls when?

:p

People, i wish for you to notice something. There is a question here that needs an answer. Without an answer, it's a nobody. so please, for just as many guesses as it takes, make this question feel loved. Please.

Jammin, when you have the time, you may post a question. :)

Hopefully it will get answered. :(

March 25 the destruction of the ring. (I think the new year is this date in Gondor)

and

(I will guess) the crowning of the new King. IIRC it is about May 1.
