i don't see any poetry threads; are there any else where and i just didn't see them? oh well, here's a poem (not the best but what can i say? i an amature)


On My Pedastel

WHile sitting on
the Pedastel
I've placed myself
upon,
I happened
to glance down one day.
I saw
the world
spiraling away,
'til everything was
small and insignificant.
"How glad I am,"
I sneered selfishly,
"that I'm not one of those
meaningless Creatures below."

Suddenly,
I heard the echo of
my words
drift down,
and I looked upward.
But that was
no echo of
my voice-

it was only
the person
on the pedastel
higher than mine.
