Gimli?

Hello everyone
I'm new here and i apologize if this question has already been asked.....Who is the actor that plays Gimli in the LOTR movies? He never seems to be mentioned and I haven't seen him in any interviews in the papers or on television. Please somebody enlighten me.

yea he was salla, he was always bumbling around losing stuff, i think he was in two though. john rhys davies is also a shakespearian actor

I think the reason that he is not really interviewed all that much is becasue in the movie he's not really a super important character.

Yeah Orlando Bloom is pretty, John Rhys-Davies is not :rolleyes:
SO of course they are going to show Orlando more in interviews.

I was in an interview-chat on a sci-fi website with him (got to ask him a question or two, actually-I'll try to find the website later) and if I recall, he said that when FOTR came out, an ex-girlfriend sent him a rather joint-lacking Gimli action figure with a note that said 'it's just like your acting - it only bends at the knees' or something odd like that.
