I really enjoy Tony Hawk Proskater II - it's my favourite computer game. (You can get III now.) It's a really fun skateboarding game! The most violent thing that occurs is falling. There's no blood or anything, and your character gets right back up. But as with seeing a real skateboarder fall, you can imagine it would be painful.

Civilization III is also really fun. It's a world strategy game, though I think there might be battles in it. I haven't played in a while. I'd let a 12 year old play it though. How old is your bro?

If he likes puzzles he might enjoy Myst, except it's very difficult. He might find it frustrating. There's absolutely no violence whatsoever though.

You could also get him a racing game like Grand Tourismo. I know it's for playstation, but I don't know about computers. Avoid ones where you run over pedestrians though!

There are also classics like Chip's Challenge, but I don't know if you can get that anymore.

If anyone needs CHips I can mail them a zipper of it, and passwords if you're a saddo.

Rollcage Stage II by Psygnosis/ATD totoally rocks, the most bonkers racing ever. There are weqpons etc. but the cars are indestructible, and you can drive on the ceilings. You can download a demo from neoto.com, go to it!

You're the best johnnyrod, Chip's Challenge works perfectly!

We should start a Chip's thread. :)

Check this out, there are anotehr 149 levels if you complete the first 149:

There are links, useful stuff, game downloads etc. there, though I can't vouch for its safety.
