I noticed that in the battle of helms deep an elf fires and empty bow, with sound fx and all. I know, I know, I'm such a nerd.

I think there is already a thread for mistakes, etc somewhere here, so this will prolly get closed.

Sorry to be anal, but I felt compelled to post the link to a diff. thread (the one you posted was FotR mistakes, this one (http://entmoot.tolkientrail.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6501) is the TT mistakes thread. Sorry.:) )
[EDIT -- BTW, both of those threads are in the abyss.:) ]

Azalea, I am going to go ahead and reopen this thread. I have had some PMs about it, and since the other two that we provided links to are old threads, the last post being over six months old or more, this thread should be allowed. Okay?

*an opportunity to play in a closed thread!!! :D *
Gandalf's Math Error:
When Gandalf leaves Edoras to go round up Eomer and the boys, he laments how after spending 300 lives of men on Middle Earth, he's now so pressed for time. Should've been THIRTY lives of men... since it was about 2,000 years! Unless men are living to just under 7 years or so!
Of course, Gandalf WAS under pressure at the time... and his wizardry revolved around fireworks and such... not solving math problems!

No problem here either way. I like using the old threads, but like you said, the others haven't had posts in over six months, so this one is fine to replace the old one. (I just mentioned the abyss because of the discussion in that other thread:) ).
