Brave Hobbits

I think the bravest hobbit is Frodo because he was willing to got to Mount Doom and destroy the Ring. He could've let someone else do it but he said that he would do it. He had to actually go into Mordor and use orc roads just to in the end have his finger bitten off. Pippin and Merry might've fought in more battles but thats nothing to saving the world. (even though Merry killed the King of the Wraiths)

Yeah, sure all those young hobbits were okay. But what about a hobbit who, at 100+ years of age stood up to a Maiar's gang (Sharkey's) wielding only an umbrella, was locked up in a harsh prison for her efforts, and when dying left all her money to be used to help hobbits made homeless by her deluded son Lotho and Sharkey. (okay, so maybe she had a few teensy faults). Perhaps actions not totally unexpected since, to paraphrase Bilbo in the movie "She's a Baggins, not some block-headed Bracegirdle from Hardbottle."

Also, she couldn't have been as scary looking as seen in the Fellowship of the Ring extended DVD!

(Okay, so maybe Frodo was braver, but Lobelia would have been a kick butt Hobbit Amazon).

but will Lobelia be the same in the end of RotK movie vs. the Rotk book? there is no scouring of the shire in the end of Rotk movie, so will she still be the same old Lobelia as the beginning of the fellowship?or will she have miraculously changed from not so nice, to nice?

I think that the bravest hobbit is Pippin...he's the best!! In book two he accually escapes from the orcs (though only for a short time) and he soon becomes a knight and saves the Shire. Plus hes hot (not much in the movie though) but in my mind. Same with Legolas, I don't think OB is that attractive but my own imagination of what Legolas would look like is acually pretty hot. But Frodo is hot in the movie yet, Pippin still rules over all! You must admitt, you have to love a Took!:D

Yah, I do love a Took. They kinda remind me of me... more or less adventerous in a calm place. But now that you think of it, Pippin and Merry were brave.

And Merry and Pippin were so young too. Pippin hadn't even come of age yet, and Merry wasn't much older.

Also, in the begining, Merry went from being disapointed from not being able to go to the green dragon to slaying(or however you want to say it) a Ringwriath!
