Black Crystals

[Lady Arwen56]

Here's the most easy way to explain this RPG: six strangers each find black crystals that appeared to them out of dreams, or visions, showing them wear to go, and find out that their purpose is to destory the new dark queen, and they are the only ones that can control the crystals.
If they win; Middle Earth is Free, and all is at peace
If they fail: Middle earth will fall into complete darkness, and their souls will parish along with the crystals.

Description: Long black hair, with pure ice blue eyes.
Weapons: Daggers, Lorien Bow, arrows, Terren, (her blade)
Animals: Black horse named Panawin, and a daemon, Alexiel in the shape of a black panther. *i know, i know, obessed with the color black*

Hair: long silver, flows like a river
Clothes: blue-grey tunic, and pants of the same color. Also has blue-grey boots.
Eyes: Silver-blue, silver eyebrows and eyelashes
Weapons: Sword, long spear attached to his back, throwing axes, and a Galadhirium bow, silver arrows.
Personality: rather sarcastic, lightspirited, and elaborate style[kinda like Draco Malfoy, but more charming, less evil]
Gets a black crystal too!

Gender: Male
Description: Tel has grey eyes and brown hair he wears unfashionably short. He wears a pale bluish-grey shirt with a silver ship embroidered on the chest. He wears loose-fitting pants the same color as his shirt. Over all this he wears a blue-grey cloak with a silver clasp shaped like a fish. Most definitely a Sea-Elf.
Weapons: Two long knives made of mithril, with silver engraved handles, a shortbow of pale grey wood.
Animals: A dappled grey gelding named Mellonamin.
Other Stuff: A silver ring (don't freak out, no magic here :p ) with a blue topaz gem set in it.

ooc: Yay! I feel so loved with everyone always joining my RPGs!! :) :) ;) I think I'll go ahead and start, even though we don't have many ppl yet, Yes, all of you may have crystals, if you want them.

ic: "Ouch!" Kiru cried as she stumbled over an uprooted tree. She stood up, and brushed herself off, sighing lightly. "And I thought we elves were suppose to be graceful." She muttered to herself. "C'mon, Kiru! You'll be late to your father's ball for his 1,000th birthday!" Her daemon Alexiel snapped. "You forget, he's my step-father." Kiru muttered. (Aragorn died way a long time ago)
"Princess!" Alexiel growled. Kiru rolled her eyes, and began racing out of the forest once again, stopping only once she reached the edge. She walked out of the thicket of trees, and into Rivendell, frowning.
She rushed up to the palace, where her mother stood, looking frantically about. "Kiru! There you are! I thought something happened to you!" She cried, running over to her daughter, and wrapping her arms around her.
"Now get up to your chambers, and put on your dress! It's almost time!" Arwen said, her face turning stern. Kiru, nodded, and took off up the stairs. She walked into her bedroom, and turned to the wardrobe, swinging it open. There, laying over a bar, was a slik white dress, embriodered with gold elvish words, and drapping sleeves.
Kiru smiled, even though she disliked her step father intensely, she really liked this dress.

Kiru walked slowly down the steps, her black hair braided behind her, and a gold halo type thing (have no idea what to call it :)) on her head. Almost all the younger male elves looked up at her, and gawked. She let out a small chuckle as she finally reached the last step. She had to laugh at them, it was impossible not to.
Kiru knew most of the elves and their sons and daughters here. But she noticed one standing in the corner, wearing mostly a grayish blue material. Obviously a sea elf. She smiled at him, and then turned to meet one of her friends, a young girl elven noble named Jenai.
'Everyone's here.' She thought. 'Even a sea elf, and dwarves too!' "Kiru, it's nice to see you again," Jenai said, smiling brightly. "Yes, a pleasure indeed." Kiru muttered, bored as usual when she came to these blasted social events.

I need to join now. I will join now. Yarr yarr.

Character: Kiara
Class: Water elemental mage
Race: Sea-elf
Hair: A vibrant turquoise, curly and long, with a thin braid coming down over her shoulder, decorated with small seashells
Eyes: The color of tropical seas when you get far from shore
Clothes: Kiara wears very little, underwater, as is the custom of sea elves. When she goes on land, she dresses in skintight leggings and what we call a tube top. (Not nearly as 'respectable' as the other sea elf. We must be from different kingdoms.)
Weapons: Underwater weapons are designed to be fast, and hers are no exception. She wears long blades shaped like fins strapped to her forearms, using them to deadly effect.
Jewelry: The one bit of jewelry Kiara wears (not counting the crystal) is a delicate silver circlet on her head. Hanging down slightly on her forehead rests a pendant set with an aqua jewel.
Distinguishers: Kalile has irregular lighter patches on her dusky brown arms. She also walks rather differently from land dwellers.

Ic: Kiara stood perfectly still, her chin high. As a princess, even one of a dead clan, she behaved with perfect poise, though her heart and mind were somewhat elswhere. Her silver gown stood out among the guests, as did her bright hair, and she was tired of being stared at. She stifled a yawn, then stepped lightly over to the hostess.

Another elf stood near the corner of the room in a vibrant green dress, quietly surveying everything with piercing eyes. She had come to this party at the request of several friends, who were nowhere to be found. Now she was getting bored. She flicked back a strand of hair and sighed.
"Not much is happening, is it?" She asked a person she was standing near, a male sea-elf in blue gray.

[Legoles]

"Not really." His long silver hair was loose, and his blue silver eyes were peircing and beautiful to look at. "Ah, the lady of hte party." *bows low*[seemes unfazed by beauty of elf] "I am Jikinarus, Jinkin, or Jink, which ever you prefer, m'ilady." he said the last word rather mockingly.

[Kalile]

Kiara switched her step in mid stride. Another sea elf!
Walking lightly over to the elf, she touched her forehead with the tips of her five fingers in the traditional greeting.
"Salutations Jikinarus of _______ clan. (Add your own clan name here!;))
I am princess Kiara of Ro- Selkis." She used the prefix to symbolize the dead clan, wiped out in a great war, without a falter in her voice, but despite her control, her lower lip trembled slightly.

He touched his head in the same fashion. "I am from the Tai-tang clan[sorry Inuyasha has been watched, brain not working till 2:00] It is nice to meet you."

Alaithia walked up to the group of elves. "Hello, I am Alaithia of Lothlorien." She felt out of place, all the other female elves were wearing flowing dresses, she had her tunic and an elven cloak.

<Finally, someone in normal clothes!> "Hello Alathia, I'm Jikinarus, or Jikin, or Jink, whatever you prefer." He sighed exasperatedly

[Dreran the Green]

"Nice to meet both of you, I'm Sode, I think" Sode said absentmindedly while looking around.

[Kalile]

"Does anyone know how long this is supposed to last?" she asked quietly, checking to make no one else heard her rather rude question. "I'm stifling. The summons came so quickly, I only had time to throw my silver dress over the top of my land clothes." She smiled, and put her fingers lightly over her mouth, a polite nothing that had become habit.
"It's good to be among people who obviously don't expect me to be a typical Princess all day."

Tel entered what seemed to be yet another boring elven party. He spotted a few elves looking very bored, so he went to go say hello. "Vedui! My fair elves. My name is Tel. Well, actually, it's Telepelenmire, but I think you all would rather say Tel than that piece of work!"

"Hello Tel, call me Jink. It's actually Jikikinarus, but I belive that my nickname is easier to say.It's nice to have someone else to talk to besides these girls."

Hair: dark brown though is usually covered by a cloak
Eyes: hazel, usually hidden by shadow
Weapons: Sword, bow and arrows, and a throwing dagger
Other: Was once a ranger but went missing for a few years. He has returned, with information for those who ask of it, but very few recognize him. He is very mysterious but loyal.

Ic: Kiara bowed, assuming her 'party expression' with an inward sigh. "I am Kiara of Ro-Selkis."

Alliwin noticed alot of the sea elves talking with some others, and joined in, smiling brightly. (Just so you know, I already have my crystal)
"Hello, I'm Alliwin, Princess of Rivendell, daughter of Lord Aragorn and Lady Arwen." She said. She felt the black, crystal pendant around her neck grow warm, and knew at once that these people were kind, and only had goodness in their hearts. "Alli, for short." She added.

"Hello Princess Alli, I am Alaithia of Lothlorien." She bowed low before the princess.
ooc: Did Kalile get her sea-elf arm blades from Soul Calibur 2? just played it, good game, anywho, carry on!

[Legoles]

"Hello Lady Alwin." Said Jikinarus, with some respect in his voice. "I am Jink, or Jinkinarus. It is a pleasure to meet you." He bowed down and kissed her hand, his black crystal necklace falling out of its hidden place. He got back up, and tucked the necklace back in his shirt.

[Kalile]

Nope! I got it from Zelda: Majora's Mask. You save a wounded Zora from drowning, and he dies on the beach after you play a song for him. His spirit becomes a mask, and you can turn into him! You don't look like him, but everyone thinks you are him. This zora is the only one that still can use his fins as a weapon/shield. He can fire his as boomerangs, but my person's aren't growing out of her arms, so she can't.

[Dreran the Green]

Sode bowed. "It's nice to meet you, Lady Alli. I'm Sode, of nowhere-in-particular" She smiled, then noticed the pendant around the princess's neck. "Oh, wow. That's a beautiful crystal...its so strange..." she had the weirdest feeling she'd seen the necklace somewhere before, but she had no clue where.

[Aewionen]

Ralen sat quietly in the forest outside what seemed to be and elven party. Staring into the fire, his thoughts lingered on what they did not know. It will soon begin. A darkness that only those who had been through what he had could see quietly covered the night sky. The stars and moon no longer gave light. He searches. Thought he will not find. A voice not belonging to him spoke in his mind. "Ah." Ralen replied quietly, "But I have. I have my friend."

[Kalile]

"What?" intrigued, Kiara stepped closer. She stopped herself, checking her curiosity, but watched the other out of the corner of her eye.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"Hello Alli! Great to meet you," Tel smiled at the elf. He noticed her necklace, "That's a fine piece of jewelry you've got there. Any idea where you got it from?" The black jewel seemed somehow familiar, though Tel could never remember seeing one like it before.

[Kalile]

*yawn* oh, is something going on? No? Well then, I'll help.

So many princessess! There are at least three over in our corner alone!

Ic: As Kiara sighed, schooling her face into the diplomatic mask that she had dropped, in order to be presentable to the newcomers, (Boy, that's one terrible sentence! I just can't think of any better way to say it.)
As she began to start on the dull social pleasantries, that didn't mean anything anyway, there came an odd sound, like an especially large cork shooting inelegantly out of a house-sized bottle of wine.
Everyone froze, startled, then the lanterns were all put out in an almightly gust of wind that no one felt, and someone screamed.

[Aewionen]

Ralen listened to the scream and then every thing went quiet. A smile appeared on his lips as if he had been expecting it. About time. Ralen stood and as quiet as a lost soul, he went in the direction of the elves. If anyone had seen him, he looked as though he were only an illusion. His ragged cloak spread behind him as he moved gracefully and slowly.

[Legoles]

"Girls don't move, I see something." He drew his sword, and tore off his sleeves, revealing twin blades strapped to his arms.

ooc; I just realized my name was Kiru in this....ooopps!! Nevermind though, just call me Alliwin. Damn it! oh well. :)

ic: Alliwin heard a shrill scream as all the lights went out, and slinked away from the group, rushing up the stairs and into her bedroom. She slipped out of her dress, and pulled on a pair of leggings, and then a baggy silver shirt.
She pulled a sword from the wall of her room, and unsheated it, rushing back down the stairs. Her necklace glowed, setting off enough light for those around her to see. She walked over to Jinks, and the others.
"Do we know who's hurt?" She whispered to Tel, so quietly that only his ears could have caught it.

[Kalile]

As the lights went out, Kiara crouched, pulling the dress off over her head. (Remember, I did say that she was wearing her clothes underneath it)
Thankful that the martial arts moves taught to all sea elves worked well even without blades, the princess tensed, delicate ears straining.
A footstep sounded, then a soft hand brushed across Kiara's circlet. She shouted hoarsly and kicked out. She was rewarded by the thud of a falling body, and then suddenly the tangible oder of magic, smellable only by mages, filled the air and no more sounds were heard.
Even another shout went unheard, as someone ran their hand across Kiara's bare shoulders. It found and yanked on her necklace with the black crystal, and Kiara struck blindly out. She could neither see nor hear, but felt the back-handed swipe hit an arm, and it loosened its hold.
Kiara backed away, crawling until she hit someone that smelled faintly of the sea.
"Jikinarus? If you it is you, answer me in the same language," she breathed softly in Sea elvish.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"No idea, but I'm gonna go find out Alliwin," Tel whispered back. Just then someone bumped into him, and spoke softly in his native tounge. "No, I am not Jikinarus," Tel whispered back in the same language. "Do you know who screamed? Or what happened?"

[Aewionen]

Ralen listened to the shouts and screams coming from the elves. "He has found one." he said quietly. He crouched down and silently waited for the one who had tried to steal the black crystal.

[Kalile]

"I don't know what happened, but someone - or something- tried to steal a crystal I have about my neck."

[Legoles]

"Kira, are you alright?"

"Goodness," Tel whispered, "A thief here? I'll have to show that ruffian what's what!" He paused am moment, "Why are we whispering?" he said quietly.

[Legoles]

"Dont want him to know where we are."

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"Um, okay. I dont really have anything of value on me, so I'll go try to find the theif. Be back soon," Tel left the building, looking for the thief person. He saw some movement in the shadows. He drew his dagger, and grabbed the person. "Now then, who are you?" he asked.

[Aewionen]

Ralen breathed in deeply yet quietly, What is taking him so long? "Now then, who are you?"Ralen turned at the sound of a voice. With a sigh and a small smile, he walked over. "You missed." he said walking out of the shadows talking to the thief, "I was hoping to catch you." Ralen walked over to the theif, not bothering to look at the elf. "For a moment there, I thought that you, the trained assassin, got beat by a couple partying elves." The thief glared at Ralen, "Never." he said quietly. Turing to the elf (Tel), Ralen smiled suddenly and said, "Hello."

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"Well hullo there," Tel said shortly to the new person. "Is seems that your friend here DID get beaten by a partying elf," He glanced at the theif, "So, what made you think you could just waltz into a perfectly boring party and make off with some jewlery?" He looked back at the new guy, and drew another knife lightning quick. He held it to the guy's throat. "I suppose you have a good reason for being here too?" he said sarcastically.

[Aewionen]

Ralen looked the elf up and down, ignoring what he had just said, "Partying elf 'eh? You don't look drunk to me...." Ralen gave a slight shrug not even glancing at the dagger, "And as for reason....none really except for this most ungentlemanly like fellow. Tsk Tsk Tsk, how dare you try to steal a necklace from a lady."

[Kalile]

Kiara got another torch and lit it so that everyone could see what went on.

"Why did you try to steal my crystal?" she asked, holding the torch near to his face.
"What value does it hold for you?"

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"Yeah," Tel said, "Wait a minute there bucko, how did you KNOW that is was a neckalce from a lady he was trying to steal? Answer me that, Mr. Smarty Cloak!"

[Lady Arwen56]

Alliwin ran out after Tel, wanting help. He had the thief in his arms, holding onto him tightly. She walked up to the thief, her black crystal's light dying. She gasped.
"Lurion." She whispered, but then, he disappeared, completely gone. "Lurion..." She repeated, dropping to her knees, and bursting out in tears.

[Legoles]

"Hmmm?" Jikinarus's crystal was glowing as well. Choosing to ignore it, he kneeled down to help the distressed girl to her feet.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"You see that,'' Tel said to the thief, "You made the lady cry!" He turned as much as he could towards Alliwin, "Um, are you all right?"

ooc: Just in case you're wondering about why Tel is so strange: Tel is a hyperactive wierd elf, sort of like me! ('Cept I'm not an elf, or a guy for that matter...)

ooc: We could tell Gulio.

ic: "He just looks so much like...an...an old friend of mine." She said softly, tears still straeking down my face.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

ooc: :p is all I have to say.

ic: Tel looked back at the cloaked man, "You still haven't told us how you knew what this man was going to steal, or that he even was going to be here at all!"

[Legoles]

"Yes." I said suspiciously. "Why don't you tell us? Or are you afraid?" He said, flashing the steel blades that were strapped to his arms.

[Aewionen]

"Afraid! I think not," Ralen said, sounding somewhat annoyed, "After being through.....never mind." he said quietly. "I fear nothing that you could possibly do to me. For nothing will be worse than what I have seen and lived through in order to protect you! That is why I am here. If you don't believe me, try to keep those glowing crystals of your's safe." Ralen nodded to one of the black crystals. He tried to keep the screaming vioces of remeberance away from his mind as well from his heart.

[Lady Arwen56]

"I trust him. My crystal tells me that he's alright." Alliwin said softly, curtseying to Ralen. "I am Princess Alliwin, and these are my friends."

[Aewionen]

Ralen nodded slightly towards Alliwin, "I am Ralen, I do not expect many of who to recongnize me for my own mother most likely wouldn't." Ralen said not bothering to uncloak his face.

[Lady Arwen56]

"Why don't you at least pull that moronic hood off?" She asked, reaching up the push it back.

[Aewionen]

Ralen quickly backed away. "No." he said quickly, "My face has already in the past brought to much pain." he added quietly. Suddenly, I scream that seemed to come from a child burst out. "Come! We must leave, and quickly!" he motioned for them to follow and went back into the shadows.

[Lady Arwen56]

Alliwin shrugged, and sighed, lightly, rushing after Ralen. He was so mysterious. Too mysterious. Now that she thought about it, she had heard that voice before. A memory suddenly flashed before her eyes.
Alliwin ran into a small forest, her heart pounding. "Leave me be!" She cried to the thing that had been chasing her for at least one mile. She fell to the ground, shivering. Something touched her shoulder, and drew her up. It was a man, his face was blurred from the dizzyness that had so suddenly struck her. "It's alright. " He said, holding her up, and then slipping a thin chain around her neck. She blacked out then, and woke a few hours later, lying on the forest ground.
That was the day I got my necklace. She thought. She was about the say something to Ralen, when she decided not to, because of the crowd of people around them, she'd just have to wait until they could have some private time together.

[Aewionen]

As they came to a small cave, Ralen stopped and waited for the rest to catch up. "We will rest here for the remainder of the night." he said walking into the cave.

[Lady Arwen56]

Alliwin cleared her throat quietly, and spoke. "Ralen, may I speak with you in...private?" She pulled the braid out of her hair, making it all fall lightly around her. She was alluring, even then in the middle of a dark, cave.

[Legoles]

lovely, another love story....
IC: Jikinarus looked around the cave, his eyes adjusting to the darkness quickly. He saw the girl pull out her braid and call the new man over to her. "Oh dear..."
Suddenly his sight was blocked by something crossing in front of him. Who is it?"

ooc: GRR!! LEGOLES!! It's not a "love story" I have to talk to RALEN plus, I HATE braids. I JUST HAPPENED TO PULL THE FRICKEN THING OUT!! GRRRRRRRRRR!!

The thief, I think, dissapeared and then we heard a scream, I led you to a cave. Now Alliwin is talking to me. Speaking of which....

ic: Ralen turned to see Alliwin. "Yes, what is it?" he said. He turned to look out of the enterance of the cave, as if checking for something that might attack them. He looked back at Alliwin as he lit a small torch.

ic: Tel trailed after Alliwin, a rather confused hyperactive wierd Sea-Elf. They stopped in a cave, and Ralen and Alliwin started talking to each other. "Pardon the interruption," Tel said to Ralen, "But for the love of doughnuts what is going on!"

I have cue, use it!
"Hello Kiara, would you like to sit down?"

[Aewionen]

Ralen looked at Tel, "I cannot tell you all, for some is hidden from me as well. Your crystals," he said quietly, "they hold some sort of al power. One that someone in great power desperatly wants." he paused as another shrill cry came from somewhere in the distant forest.

Alaithia ran after tel. "Indeed, like he says, what is going on?" She demanded.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"Something about crystals and us and some evil guy wanting them," Tel said to Alathia. He turned back to Ralen, "That can't be all you know-" Another scream knifed through the air, "Like what's making that sound for one."

[Kalile]

Ooc: Okeyday!

Ic: Kiara shook her head slightly, turning toward the sound.
"Come with me," she said suddenly to Jikinarus, starting out of the cave.
"I need to know what's going on."

[Aewionen]

"Night riders, they are sometimes called. Like wraiths, shadowed and dark but they can also be killed. Very few have died though. They are drawn to them for they were the real makers of the Black Crystals but Naldurion, the dark-elf that is after them, took them from the Riders. The Riders were only regular men and elves but they were somehow connected to the Crystals. Naldurion..." Ralen stoped as another cry came from the forest. "You might want to stay in here Kiara...." he said glanceing at her.

[Kalile]

Kiara bit her lip and sat, torn between going out anyway and not knowing.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"Where were we going again? Oh wait, you never told us!" Tel said sarcastically.

ooc: I don't mean to be mean, but I RP like it's really happening to me. When I'm confused and people don't answer my questions, I tend to get a bit grumpy.:)

"Where would you like to go elf? Certainly not out there....no...not quite yet." Ralen said as he sat down. Another shriek came, much closer this time. The sound of heavy rain could be heard and the crackling of a small fire made the cave seem quiet yet busy. "I am not sure where to go...we could....no, that would lead us too close.....or....yes. That sounds good." he leaned back against the hard stone wall, noticing his answer upsetted some of them.

"You're talking in circles old man! Give me a straight answer. Where are we going!"

[Legoles]

"Well, we can't go out there, and you haven't bothered looking around here to see if there's an excape route. I'll go look." He went off at a jog and snapped a dim light into existance.

"I agree with Tel." Alaithia said. "So we can't go out there, but we can't stay in here. What are we going to do?" She said a little to loud. There was another blood-curdleing shriek. She cringed. Into her bow was fitted an arrow.

Ralen looked at Tel, "Circles? Yes, that I might. And I am not that old. I am twenty-six." He looked at the arrow Alaithia had fitted into her bow. "You cant with arrows. Or by the sword." Just as (Legoles sorry, can't remeber your name) ran out. "Wait!" it was too late. He had already left the cave. "Everyone stay here,they won't enter the cave." Ralen said before he ran out into the pouring rain.

Alaithia wanted to go, but that would be smack stupid, (sry, I am a hick remember?) "It would've been helpful if she had told us how we could kill it!" Said Alaithia in a huff.

[Kalile]

Before she knew it, Kiara was out after them, not exactly knowing why. She stopped almost immediately, however, expending magic enough to summon her arm blades; they had a special metal that would obey her summons.
I just hope no one is looking for traces of magic she thought as she strapped them on, then went after the others.

ic: Alliwin dropped down on a large boulder inside the cave, and groaned. This was all too much. She stood up, bow in her hands, and running outside, she had to do something.

IC: Jink looked around and saw what was making the noise. <A strange nazgul like creature.>

"This is ridiculous!" Tel exclaimed, "What in the name of all things elvish are we doing in here!" Tel thought a moment. "Okay, that's it. I'm gonna go after that Ralen guy and find out what is going on!" And with that he plunged out into the night after the enigmatic man.

[Aewionen]

Ralen snuck up behind Jink and put his hand on his shoulder, "You should get back to the cave before..." a hriek rang through the darkness, cutting him off. "They found us! Quickly, concentrate as hard as you can on your crystal." Ralen looked at Jink than back at the Night Rider approaching them. He hoped the others had stayed in the cave.

"Okay." he focused all his energy on his crystal and it grew hot against his chest.

[Aewionen]

The Night Rider gave a shriek, but this time it sounded more human. Ralen nodded, "Good, keep it up." The Rider started to back away slowly, still letting out blood curdling shrieks.

"Wait!" Alaithia cried after Tel. She was going to follow him when suddenly, a shriek came, but it was not like the others, in it lied pain, agony, and death. it stopped her in her tracks. "Tel! Come back!" She cried.

[Kalile]

Kiara arrived in time to see the demon backing off, but more were coming. He can't hold them off by himself!
She held out her crystal and stood beside the other sea elf, putting her hand with the crystal in it over his with his crystal.
Instantly they became almost too hot to hold, and emitted a black light.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

Tel heard another shreik come from nearby. A wraithlike rider all in black appeared right behind him. With a cry of surprise he took off running. He soon saw a flash of black light up ahead and sprinted for it. He drew his knife impulsively and found the gem on the end of the hilt extremely hot. He nearly dropped it in surprise, but Ralen shouted at him to concentrate on it. He did so, and the burning increased. Just when it seemed his hand would catch fire, it emitted a flash of black light like the one he had seen earlier.

[Legoles]

"Back off you stupid demons!" He shouted. "If you harm a hair on their heads, I shall smite you!" Shouted Jinkinarus His crystal blazed even more brightly as he held it high above his head. He shouted something that was an old saying. "Cie nicas supam torco, Crystal, mas mas doboram burtud."

[Kalile]

Kiara lifted her jewel as well, echoing his chant with one of her own.

"Elbereth! Ni skyia jas poro dia Melkor! Gilthoniel, jiona miathasa! Ginya ni husi mu ode layo!" Their voices joined, rising clear into the night over the wails of night riders, the crystals bathing the trees in a strange light.
"Elbereth!" Kiara shouted once more, and the riders shrank from them.

[Aewionen]

Ralen gave a small smile as he watched the Night Riders back away more quickly. Suddenly, with a flash of light, they dissappeared. "Well done! All of you." Ralen said looking at them all. "You learn quickly." He looked around to see if the others were there when it began to rain even harder. "Come, let us get back to the cave. I have something to tell you all."

ic: "Um, what just happened," Tel asked.

"The night riders have been beaten back by the power in the crystals!" Kiara was rather disbelieving. It worked!
She thought about what she had said once inside the cave.

Elbereth! Deliver us from the evil of Melkor! Gilthoniel, lend your light!

Can these crystals somehow be a part of... Elbereth or Gilthoniel?

Ralen turned to face the others as they entered the cave. "As you saw a few minutes ago, those crystals have te ability to defeat the Night Riders. They are the only weapon that can. Though these crystals can be used for good, they hold a dark magic inside them that would soon destroy all who touch them. This is why I came to find you all. Naldorian is searching for you all, to make you his own assassins. He knows that you can withstand the dark power that he could not.Though....now...I have began thinking he is working for someone else. When he is not giving his lackies a hard time or yelling and beating his slaves, " Ralen paused and stared at the ground, "He lingers in his dark room, it almost sounds like he is groveling (sp?) before another." He looked up, "That is all I can tell you for now."
