Do Jedis have control over the cellular level? This question came to me yesterday (while wondering if Luke's better than Magneto) and I concluded that it really depends on where the metachlorients are stored.

Please follow me, I'm using rather stupid vocabulary as I am in a slight rush...
If metachlorients are in the cells, and a Jedi could control the cellular level, than he'd be able to 'un-Jedi' a Jedi perhaps even before he was 'Jedied.' But if they were in the mind, not necessarily the brain cells, but maybe an idea or something along those lines, they could not be removed, even if cells could be controlled. If they are all in the blood, thus spread evenly throughout the body, then they're probably in cells, or maybe they're separate.

Obviously, I am to puzzled to tell. What do you think; do Jedis have controll over the cellular level?

I think he means midichloriens! *g* :) I think that certain Jedi have such fine control over thier telekeniesis that they can manipulate objects at the cellular level. As to your question about whether a Jedi could "un-jedi" a person with Force potential, I would say no. I think that the midichloriens in a Jedi's body, regardless of where they are, are too closely linked with the person's psyche to be simply "removed". My opinion is that, even if one could get a Force-hold on midi-chloriens and remove them, the process would kill the person. Also, how do you get someone to sit quietly on a bed for a day or two while you remove every single midichlorien from thier body! Not likely.

Midi-chlorians, perhaps? With a dash.and an 'a'? :p

Here's my Evil Plan(tm).

1) Seek out beings with a high midi-chlorian count.
2) Kill or incapacitate them.
3) Strain Midi-Chlorians from their cells.
4) Inject reclaimed midichlorians into myself
5) Repeat as nescessary.
6) Conquer Galaxy.

LOL! :D

But if it was possible to get the midi-chlorians (or whatever the right spelling is)out of somebody, why didn't the emperor use that technique on Anakin instead of bothering with the turning-him-into-Darth-Vader?

Easy! He recognised Anikin's definate power, and, being consumed by the Dark Side, became greedy and felt the need to 'own' him. If he could convert Anikin, he'd be that much more powerfull.

Actually this is only partly greed and partly logic. I think a good jedi would like to convert baddies to the Light Side also. It just makes sense.

EDIT: midichlorians midi-clhorians or whatever...
