Elanor The Fair

Has been hobbitnapped! Her father, Master Samwise Gamgee, is very worried for his eldest daughter. Unfortunetaly, neither he, nor his wife, Rosie Gamgee, can go and look for her. So, he has called upon a new Fellowship that he will form, of 7 members, just like The Fellowship Of The Ring. As I was the first one he called upon, he gave all of the information that he has: It appears to be goblin-men, or something of their ilk, that has taked Elanor. They appear to be heading for Mordor...And Mount Doom. When I asked Master Samwise why they would go there, he told me of a prophecy, made at Elanor's birth: The Eldest Daughter shall be the bringer of Good Fortune. But there will be those who will seek to stop the prosperous times that this Child shall bring. That was all that he could tell me.

Was a great friend of Gandalf The White. Therefore, Sam trusts him. Aragorn also trusts him, as they are second cousins, once removed. He has no family, and is careless of any and all danger.

my character Gladeiel is a good friend of Elanor in the journey and another rpg. So why not use her now.
"A girl's head ran through the Shire, in the direction of the Gamgees home. Upon closer inspection she was a young elf, in a pair of dark green breches and a long sleeved green shirt that matched the color of the grass. Her tall, slim figure, was cloaked by a dark green robe with silver trim. Her pale complexion, and scillinating blond hair, would make her the envy to Galadriel. She reached the door, and knocked loudly. "Mr. n' Mrs. Gamgee, may I come in? I heard the news and rushed over. I'm so sorry. I also heard that there is going to be a fellowship of sorts, to try and find her. I'd like to help her."
Mrs. G: "But dear, you are unarmed."
"Not exactly, Mrs. Gamgee. A warrior would never come unprepared." she flicked aside her cloak and displayed the fine weapons, which included a sword with a blade of mithril, with the handle heavily encrusted with jewls, in the shape of a dragon, many throwing daggers and a ring upon her finger, which she could throw spikes out of. The ring was made of diamonds, and a pale blue stone right in the middle. The band was made of mithril. She also had a crown secreted in her pocket. The material looked hard as steel, but was actually soft and supple made of Mithril thread, with the same strange blue stones as her ring.
OOC: I'm stealing an idea out of a good book, "The Silver Crown." And my character is royalty, she is Legolas's sister.

Appearance: Boromir is pretty much your average hobbit, except he's almost as tall as his father, Meriadoc Brandybuck. His hair is a muddy brown that grows in large curls. His eyes are green like the Shire he loves.
Personality: Boromir is much like his father. He loves to explore and study maps and stuff. He can be sneaky like Merry, but he is generally an honest and somewhat average hobbit.
Weapons: He has a short sword, a shortbow, and the hilt of the dagger Merry stabbed the Witch King with.

ic: "Ok, Sam, Rosie, we're all here." I said to the Gamgees. "We all got here as soon as we could. Tell us as much as you can."
"Well, Elanor went out towards Farmer Maggot's to get some mushrooms, a-and she never came back." said Sam. "That's right! And Farmer Maggot said that he never saw her that night!" Rosie said. She looked quite hysterical. "Oh, and the Shirriffs said that they saw something that looked like a demon out of the stories. Do you think that there could still be some Orcs or somesuch still alive? " Sam asked me.
"Well Sam, we don't know for sure if we did get all of the Orcs and such. It's possible there are still some out there. And don't forget the prophecy. Perhaps, if it was Orcs, they are heading for Mordor...And Mount Doom." At this, Rosie fainted. After we had gotten her into bed, Sam told me that he was sure I was correct, and to please hurry to Rivendell, where he was sure the Elves could give us some inforomation. We decided then that we would head for Rivendell at first light, by way of the Buckleberry Ferry and Bree.

ooc2: Kalile, you could join us at Bree, or in Rivendell, whichever you like. I think if you join in Rivendell as an Elf, that would be excellent!

Aurelen listened to what Sam and Rosie told them about their daughter. To what she had heard, Aurelen became very concerned for her. And what they had said about the demon, this had disturbed her as well from the dreams she had been having lately. "Did Elanor ever act like something was wrong, or did she seem nervous at all? Normally in the morning?" she asked.

Boromir was very troubled at the news of Elanor's dissappearance. She had been a close friend of his since they were very young. The news of demons and orcs and such was equally troubling. We should just go, not stand around here talking! he thought, but he knew better and kept his mouth shut.

[Estel13]

Perhaps we should leave now, that way we would be in Bree that much sooner. Oh well, we'll vote on it. "Ok, all of us who want to leave now instead of in the morning, raise your hands." I said this because I had heard rumors in several places of demons and various other horrors, and if Elanor had been taken by something like that, well, the sooner we found her, the better all concerned would like it. Oh what I wouldn't give to be in Rivendell right now. The Elves could help so much, I feel like we're wasting time here. I hope they vote to leave NOW.

Aurelen raised her hand, "We should leave now before anything happens to Elanor."

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

Boromir raised his hand as well. "I am eager to start. We have to find her soon!"

[Kalile]

I'm bored, so I'll give you an account of events in Rivendell! :D

Kalile sighed, balanced her dagger on the tip of her finger, and threw it at the door to join three others.
She wasn't allowed to do much of anything here, not now that Gandalf had gone, the Fellowship had broken, and everyone had gone home. Since she had been caught sneaking out when off duty, Kalile was confined to her room like an errant adolescence.
I am young, she thought, In comparison younger than Aragorn, or Gimli, but that's no reason that I shouldn't get asked to help with the clean up! Legoles is helping all over the place, and I'm not that much younger than he!
Legolas. Now there was a nice thought. That's why she was confined, because she was sneaking off to spend time with him.
The elf's thoughts wandered to the Shire, and the hobbits. What has happened to Frodod
Frustrated, Kalile threw her last dagger, just as the door opened.
It flew past Kalile's head of duties, nicking him in the ear.
"Oops."

Gladeiel raised her hand as well. She then reached into her pack and grabbed a black cloak pants and shirt. She ran into the bathroom for about a minuite and came back dressed and ready to go. SHe stuffed her old clothes into her sack and shrugged it on under her cloak.

"Alright, that's four, plus me, is five. We leave now. Everyone has half an hour to get ready to leave. When you're all ready, meet at The Green Dragon Inn. I'll be there, getting supplies and information." That said, I jumped up and ran out the door. No one was a faster runner than I. I soon arrived at the Inn. I stopped to catch my breath before going in. Hopefully, I would be able to glean at least some information from someone. I pushed the door open and went in.

ooc: I suppose I'll meet you in The Green Dragon if you dont mind...:)

ic: Aliana sighed, and laid her head in her hand, staring into space, dazed. How many drinks have I had? She asked herself. One...two...three...four...ah...five...six... She peered down at the empty beer mugs, and frowned. Seven. She had had seven drinks.
Aliana stood up, and paid the barmaid, turning around to leave. She was roughly knocked over by someone she didn't recognize, but quickly jumped to her feet. "Watch it!" She snapped, glarring at the stranger who had been so rude as to push a woman, (and a half druken one at that:))

Boromir grabbed his pack and walking stick. He put on his cloak and bid his family good-bye. When he got to his father, Merry smiled, "You're off on your own adventure. I hope you and your company fare far better than mine did."

"Farewell dad! I'll see you later." And with that Boromir left for the Green Dragon Inn.

ooc: Ok, how to start my character up?

ic: I could not have been more ready to start our journey. My dagger was safely in its fadded shief and my helmet dangled heavely on my side. My eyes never left those of the captives parents. I never really met thier daughter Elanor and felt guilty for that.
I was only chosen because of my supposed cousin Frodo talked me into liking Sam. Sam was a wonderful friend to frodo and as far as I knew of their journey saved his life alot of times. Since he helped my new friend I will help him.
I shifted my backpack on my shoulders and waited for the signal of our departure to Bree to meet the rest of our companions.

ic: "Oh...sorry sir..." Aliana whispered, realizing now that the stranger was actually the Tavern's owner. She hadn't recognized him. "Get out." He snapped at her. She glared at him, and didn't budge. "THROW HER OUT THEN!" He said loudly. "WHAT??" Aliana cried as two thugs of Klise (Owner) threw her out harshly onto the road.
She sighed, and sat up on her knees, rubbing her bleeding and bruised elbows. What's his problem, I wonder? She said to herself, standing up to face...

ooc: I have no clue who I'm going to see, would someone pretty please help me out??

With a girl in black. She looked extremely feirce and rather ominous. She knelt down and helped her up. "Are you alright, young one? You should not be in that bar, the owner is insane."

Boromir could see the Green Dragon just down the road. He thought it might be one of his company helping another girl to her feet. "Gladeiel," he said, "Has anyone else made it here yet?" he turned to the girl, "Hullo, I'm Boromir Brandybuck."

"Besides the one in there already? No."

Aurelen Walked up to the Green Dragon Inn an saw some that she had already met before.

ooc: don't know what to say....hmmmm...

ic: Boromir recognized yet another of his company appraoching the Green Dragon. "Oi, Aurelen, good to see you!"

"Oh, Hello Aurelen."

ooc: Sorry I haven't been here, but I got myself grounded. Ok, here goes!

ic: I went out side and saw that some of the others were standing outside around someone I didn't know. I went over and introduced myself to the newcomer: "Hello, my name is Kithos. Have you come to join in the Great Search for Elanor The Fair?" Mayhap we'll need everyone we can get...even if they are only for sword fodder.

[Lady Arwen56]

Aliana looked slightly puzzled at the rest of them. "Who?" She said, raising an eyebrow. "Oh," She muttered, the realization suddenly hitting her. "So your the ones Riley sent me here to meet." She said more to herself then the others. "And Elanor is...that hobbit...from the Shire...Daughter of Sam Gamgee, if I am not mistaken."

[Estel13]

"Yes, yes, as soon as we're all here, we're leaving for Rivendell. Get yourself cleaned up, the others should be here soon." Speaking of the others, where are they? The half hour is almost up. If they aren't here, I'm leaving without them. "Boromir, would you please run back and see what's taking the them so long? I would go, but..." I tilted my head towards the new person, indicating that I wanted to keep an eye on her. At least I'll watch her until I'm sure she can be trusted.

Aliana saw Kithos tilt his head towards her, and her cheeks flushed with anger. "Maybe if you don't trust me you don't need my help." She snapped. "I have better things to do anyway! It is not my problem my elder brother takes pity on that midget and his daughter! I never asked to be sent here you know!" She began to walk off, when someone grabbed her arm.

[Estel13]

I thought quickly and grabbed Aliana's arm. "Look, with all the stories I've been hearing lately, pardon me to all the Hells if I'm a little wary of new people." I looked her up and down and added, "Who are drunk, to boot." She smelled like ale, and while I could by no means claim that I had never gotten drunk, I had never gotten drunk before setting out on a quest. "I'm sorry, but we do need you. But don't call them midgets ever again, within my hearing, or out of it. If you do, you're out. Understood?"

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"Don't you leave without me!" Boromir told Kithos, ignoring the whole midget comment. He had been called worse by the Big People before, this was nothing new. He headed into the town, looking for his other companions.

"Fine, and I'm not exactly drunk...more half drunk...I've just had a lot of problems lately." Aliana sighed, slidding down onto a large square boulder. "It's rather tiring actually. So, where are we going anyhow? That's one thing my bother didn't tell me." She said, glancing up at Kithos. "Don't worry, I won't be like this for long." She told him. (drunk i mean ;))

ic: "She is no midget! And you would do better not to speak of her like that around me!" Aragorn said running after the two big peoples. He came up to Ali and placed his hands on his hips. He looked up at her, not quite realizing how tall she was. "And if you don't help us find her, i'll, well I'll...." He didn't know what to say. He looked at (Legoles, forgot your charactar's name)

"Alright, Aliana, get yourself cleaned up quick, so we can leave when the others get here. Aragorn, I've taken care of it. Would you please go after Boromir and find out what's taking him so long? Thanks."
ooc: Um, if we're ever gonna get anywhere, everyone needs to get their characters to The Green Dragon ASAP, ok?

ooc: sorry I haven't replied. 7 days on a retreat.

ic: Aurelen stayed quiet and waited for the others to arrive. She walked over to where Aliana was and introduced herself. "Hello Aliana, I am Aurelen."

ooc: Is that everyone? I don't remember. :o

ooc: I went and checked, and yeah, thats all. :)

ic: Aliana sighed, she could already feel the liquior draining out of her. "Why must my family have that blasted 'No Drunkness' spell on us. My stupid grandmother just had to take precautions!" She said to herself. She stood up, no wobbling, just standing straight, and stretched. "Alright, I think I'm ready." She muttered.

Aragorn didn't like Aliana, but if she was the only one to guide them, he had to make do. He shrugged his shoulders and heaved his pack onto his back.

[Estel13]

"Alright, that's all of us. We're heading for Rivendell, by way of the Bucklebury Ferry. The Elves will have some information, I'm sure. Let's go." I turnde and started walking down the road, towards the Ferry, and Rivendell.

[Sicirus]

ic: I had never been to Rivendell" I muttered out loud to myself. "I have barley been out of Fangorn forest."

"Are we seeking council in Rivendell and if so from who since all of the elves are gone. Or at least alot of them?"

[Kalile]

Someone needs to say something like "There is an elf who has stayed to help. She traveled with Frodo, and cares for Elanor."

That's how I get involved with the story.

Boromir gave up on his search for his companions, and headed back to the Green Dragon. To his surprise, everyone was already there. "Well, hullo everyone. When do we leave?"

[Estel13]

ooc: Hi!

ic: "We're leaving right now. There's is an Elf there that knew Frodo and Sam, and she helped to care for Elanor when she was born. I'm hoping that she'll have some information for us. Who knows, she might even come with us!" I smiled at the thought, even though I hadn't really felt like smiling since I'd heard about Elanor.

[Kalile]

Yay! Now hurry up and leave! I wanna join!

Yes, let us leave!

ic: Aliana peered up at the sky, realizing that it had turned a dark purple. "If we are to make it across on the Ferry, we might want to hurry and get to it...I fear harsh weather is ahead of us." she said.

"Ok, lets go." I turned and started walking at a brisk pace. "Come on!" I broke into a run.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

Boromir took off after Kithos, heading for the ferry. "Where exactly are we going?" he asked.

[Estel13]

"We're going to Rivendell, by way of Bucklebury Ferry." I yelled over my shoulder. "Let's move it, people!"

[Lady Arwen56]

Aliana caught up with Kithlos, breathing shallowly. "Are we sure we have to take the ferry? There are other ways." She said softly.

[Aewionen]

Aurelen caught up with Kithos in time to hear what Aliana had to say, "What other ways?" she asked.

[Lady Arwen56]

"Paths. A tad bit dangerous, but still, it would be easier. Less dangerous then the Ferry, if anything."

[Legoles]

"I know of one. It passes by the protecter of the Shire, Dadriel. She is feirce, but knows me well, as I have been here a long time."

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"Sounds good to me," Boromir glanced at everyone else. "How 'bout the rest of you?"

"Faster and more dangerous, eh? Sounds good. Lead the way, then." I slowed slightly, so she could take the lead.

Aragorn ran at the back of the line, "we need to go faster," he whispered to himself. actually, he was going as fast as he could, but it was not fast enough.

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

Frodo gasped for air. It had been a while since he had done anything more than a sprint from an angry Farmer Maggot, and he was getting tired. "Shorter is good," he gasped.

[Aewionen]

Aurelen smiled at Frodo's words, "Yes, sounds good to me." she breathed as she ran beside the hobbit.

[PippinTook]

Aragorn was getting tired, his legs were fallign apart, his head was spinning and he often tripped over a stone, or some invisible root.

ooc: something needs to hapen!

Frodo stopped to help Aragorn to his feet. "Woah, steady there," he panted. "Been a while since I had to do long distance, how 'bout you?"

"It seems like forever!" Aragorn replied.

ic: "You're okay then?" Frodo asked, "Cuz we don't wanna get left behind right?"

"Dear no! I have to save my Elanor!" This gave him an extra boost of strenghth. "On we go!"

Aurelen stopped with the two hobbits, "Are you two alright?" she said smiling at them. She whistled and Rhean came galloping up to them. "Perhaps we could have you two ride Rhean for a while."

"Um," Aragorn stammered. The closest he had been to riding a great elven steed was Tim Loamsdown's pony. "Yes, well, er..." he said. "Yes, of course!" anything is better than walking right?

ic: "C'mon, all of you! The path isn't that far ahead! We can take a second of rest at the top of that." Aliana said, nodding to the large hill a few yards ahead of them. "The path begins there. Trust me, all of you, we must hurry!" She said softly yet clearly so that all of them heard her.

"Ok then, come on, let's go!"

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"I like the whole horse idea,'' Frodo panted. "But I've never really ridden a horse before, unless you count that one time I rode that one pony."

[Legoles]

"We have not even gotten far on the path yet. We can go past Dadriel's house and be refreshed. Then she can show us the way from there. She knows every nook and cranny of the old forest. we could go even faster that way."

[Gulio, Strength of Many]

"You know Gladeiel," Frodo said, "Long distance is rather difficult when one is expected to keep up with people twice one's height. Aragorn and I have to take twice as may steps as you."

[Aewionen]

"I can stay with them," Aurelen said, "They do tire more quickly than we do. Where are we headed?" she said adjusting the saddle in case the hobbits would be riding the horse.
