Obviously there's gonna be a RotK trailer. There was one for FOtR and for tTT, and so hence there must also be a trailer for RotK!

That wasn't so hard was it?

I have been looking for a ROTK trailer for a while, but everytime I go to a site that says they have it, it's always gone because stupid New Line is asking to delete them. I don't see why though, it's not like they're posting the entire movie or something. Besides PJ and Co. should be thankful that some people actually want to look at their work. :mad:

Well, it's nothing worth fussing about. It's just a teaser, so you don't see anything interesting. I wonder whose hand is holding the ring at the beginning of it? It's certainly not Mr. Constipation, as he bites his nails worse than I do. Maybe it's Sam? :confused:

And if it were Smeagol wouldn't the hand be green:confused:? I think it might be Sam that would be quit apropriat(spl? :D) and so awesome:D !

it was on a lotr website, but recently new line made them take it off, i agree, they are trying to kill us off, they want to turn all tolkien fans into lotr movie warriors. I love the movie, but i live off of the book

When they show that hand the background is all green, like they're in a forest or something. Not much foliage by Shelob's lair.

Does anybody think the trailer will be on the TT dvd when it comes out on the 26th? Thereby allowing those who buy or rent it to see it earlier? I think that would make sense.

I think that the trailer will be released before the next new line cinema film and especially if it is a bad one. that way people will go see it.

I'm pretty sure that the trailer is going to be on the TT dvd...it's gonna be 10 minutes long like the TT trailer was on the FoTR dvd....I remember reading this somewhere so hopefully it's true!

Do you think they would do that? Well, I suppose they would... Marketing... gah!

But if it's the same trailer as the one I've downloaded, I won't be missing it any time soon. I found this trailer rather dull and it filled me more with a feeling of dread of possible overdramatised scenes than hopeful anticipation. I had expected more of a trailer for RoTK. Hopefully this was just the first try-out that was never meant to be released and that the next trailer will be improved.

it's on the second disk...it's not a true trailer in that there are interviews with PJ about how they were creating Gollum but they did show clips and stuff from the movie...more than I thought they would show anyways:)

With a lot of films they do that. They show quite a few trailers and they usually get better as they go along and then like a month or less before the film comes out they have a fantastic one! :D fingers crossed.

There is a "Behind the Scenes Preview" on the bonus disc for TTT. It's very effective. A bit of "paths of the Dead" and battle scenes of course. No Shelob yet. It seems they were not ready when the disc was made for a full theatrical trailer.
