What's everyone's opinion on the band No Doubt?

In my opinion, they are a complete sell-out band. Their music at first was good upbeat rock, but now it's turned into rap/hip-hop/pop. I'm not dissing those types of music, but I just don't see why No Doubt had to change.

i dont listen to that music but she was born around not far form me so oyu can always see her walking around in vancouver. i have heard a couple of her songs which werent bad but i dont know bout the new stuff

I agree, they sold out. I liked their first cd but the latest stuff is just crap.

Yeah, I used to listen to them a long time ago, when they first came out, but I haven't for a few years now. They don't interest me anymore.

Tragic Kingdom is a great cd. Their new stuff sucks.

I really dont think they sold out at all. I do agree that I liked their older stuff alot better but hey....bands change...they grow...their influenced by what goes on around them.
I think it would be selling out if they stayed with the exact same forumula that sold them alot of CD's and never changed...its good that they grow and change and be experimental! even if it means loosing a few fans along the way. :)
