I had thought about this yesterday. Sort fellow mooters into the respective houses, you should give reasons why though.

As it says in the new sorting song...


Slytherin - Teaches just those whose ancestory is purest. Took only pure blood wizards and ones who were as cunning as he.

Ravenclaw - Teaches those whose intelligence is surest and who have the sharpest minds.

Gryffindor - Teaches those with brave deeds to their name. Picks those who are the bravest and boldest.

Hufflepuff - Teaches all the rest and treats them just the same.


I'll let others go first. I just wanted to put this out there. You can't place yourself in a house since the sorting hat doesn't go into a house.

If you'd have read Entmoot, a History, you'd have known that I would belong in Gryffindor (i wonder if the sorting hat would put people there who cannot even spell it, ie gryffendor) - as I ran a pretty popular Harry Potter message board called "Gryffindor Tower" And of course I would fit in there :)

I would probably put you in Hufflepuff - because you don't take sides (even though you should always support me :D ;) - need to work on that). I really can't see Ron telling Harry - "Come on Harry, Malfoy DOES have a point you know." :p

Slytherin and Gryffindor are always against each other - so I don't think you'd fit in at Gryffindor.

I think I'd be a Hufflepuff too. I'm smart outside LotR, though my grades are nothing to ooh and aah over. I'd like to think I show other Hufflepuff qualities like honesty and loyalty. :D

I like your choices Elvengirl, thanks for the compliment! Fimbrethil sorted me into Hufflepuff already. I agree with his choice, and I wouldn't be the greatest Ravenclaw. I am smart, but I'm not Ravenclaw brilliant. If I went to Hogwarts, I'd probably get better grades than I do at university.

I'd be good at Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, and Divination, I'd be okay at Potions, Charms, and Transfiguration, and I'd be terrible at Arithmancy.
