Ewww! the last thing I want in my beautiful house (well sort of! ;) ) with my beautiful things is that ugly statue of creepy, ugly Gollum! Won't be buying that! The Argonath (that came with the FoTR ex ed) were cool...Gollum is icky!

Yeah, I would've liked the Argonath, but I got the Extended Edition as a present....then it wouldn't make sense to pay 80 for just those statues, would it? :(

Yep, I bought the extended version when it first came out, before the pack with the Argonath was advertised. Then I felt I couldn't justify the £49 for the boxed set. However..............the Argonath bookends were so cool I'm beginning to think that if they reissue them alongside the new 'Gollum' boxed set - well.....it's only money after all..........................[makes mental note to speak to bank manager]!

My husband got me a fairly large snowglobe that has those same Argonath on each side...the "globe" part is the little tiny Lorien boats floating down the river. I wanted the free ticket when the ex ed of FoTR came out, so I got that one instead. I was sullen over no Argonath though. Glad I got them! :) A nice TTT ex ed momento would be a little Edoras or Orthanc statue.

I got the special extended last year with the Argonath book ends. They look very cool, but that Gollum statue looks pretty ugly. I don't think I 'd want to add that to my display.

i think gollum is adorable! lol in a creepy crazy kinda way :)

Gollum is cute in a way, but not cute enough to have a statue of him on a shelf to see all the time. :D

The fish should have little x's for eyes then. A musical feature would be "cute", him singing his little *fish whacking* song! :)
