Ok, this thread is for predictions. Only one prediction per person. No more predictions after midnight on the 20th. On June 25th, all of us who have posted here will re-read the predictions and see how many are correct. NO, I repeat, NO predictions from websites that most likely are true. It can be things that you think will be true or just hope will be true.
Prediction #1: Professor Snape will be injured or killed.
Lady of Rohan

I agree with Coney on that one.
Colin Creevey will die. He was annoying.
And, it will be divulged why Neville has such a bad memory. (Gilderoy used to work at the ministry administering memory charms, and being the Longbottom was there when his parents died, he thought he would erase the bad memories, but you cannot perform memory charms on babies. There isn't a memory charm mild enough to not damage there little minds.)

Haha, it's 9:45 local time, so I've still got time to make my prediction. :p Unfortunately, it's not a happy one.
Fact: one of the main characters will die. Rowling herself says so.
Prediction: Dumbledore's a goner. I was re-reading Goblet of Fire today and seemed to catch a bit of foreshadowing right at the end by Hagrid. "Great man, Dumbledore. 'S long as we've got him, I'm not too worried." Therefore, of course, Dumbledore has to die. But that's just my prediction and I won't be upset at all if I'm wrong. :D

And as I haven't gotten up to the part where the character dies: my prediction is Sirius. :p

Hey, if BoP can predict...so can I. I swear I haven't looked it up in the book. I am going to guess Hagrid. I heard that JK was in tears when she wrote that bit, so it would be a loved character. Oh, well, I'm probably wrong.

I know the time is too late and I'm not making a prediction, I just wanted to remind TheWhiteRider the GANDALF ISN'T IN HARRY POTTER!! but considering that this is a LotR site, I can forgive you and I know, or hope at least, that you meant Dumbledor

Don't read below if you haven't read the book:
Spoiler follows:
I *knew* Sirius would die! I knew it from the moment I read that Harry Potter was complaining that all good things were being taken away from him (right back at the start, when he was banned from Quiddich.) Did anyone else think the prophecy was dead predictable?

Ok, ok, I know I said the 25th, but I won't be on tomorrow, so; Sween, Coney, and Sheeana were right. TheWhiteRider was partly right. Since the majority of people seem to have finished the book as I have, this thread is now for discussion and Umbridge-Hating. Oh ya, how fast did everyone read the book? It took me 6 hours and 20 minutes of straight reading.
I was so PISSED that Harry, Fred, and George were banned from the Quidditch Team! But I'm glad that Ron gets to play.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY MADE BOTH RON AND HERMIONE PREFECTS!!

only six and a half hours? wow, it took me at least ten, but maybe a little more, I just don't feel like adding it all up.:)
