Hi! Welcome to Entmoot! If you go down to the General Messages forum, you will see an Official Welcome Thread. If you haven't already, why don't you introduce yourself down there?
As Coney said, reading the Frequently Asked Questions (the FAQ button on the top right of your screen) can help a lot when you're learning your way around the board.
Also, I think the best thing to do is to read a few of the threads in each forum, and then reply when you feel comfortable and would like to respond to something someone said or ask a question.
Two tips I'd like to highlight are: If you want to start a thread about something, be sure to do a search of that topic first to see if there's already an existing thread. If there is, use that by replying to the last post and that will bring it to the top so people can discuss it. Secondly, ask a moderator or administrator via Private Messaging if you have any questions, rather than start a thread. I am on almost every day and try to be very prompt in my responses to questions. I'll need to close this thread now. If you still have questions after you read the FAQ, please feel free to PM me.
