They are one of my favorite groups right now. I like Can't Stand Losing You, Every Breath You Take, and Invisble Sun the best. Anyone else?

Back in 1980, yeah! :D I liked "The Police" stuff better than Sting's solo music. Eddie Murphy sort of ruined Roxanne for me though! ;) My roomate was nuts about them, she played Synchronicity sp? too much! I think "Canary in a Coal Mine" is my favorite

Synchronisity (sp?) is one of those "perfect" albums, IMO, where every song on it was good. I love Walking in Your Footsteps. Wrapped Around Your Finger is a good song, but WAY too overplayed, even at this point, over 20 years later. Their earlier stuff was really good, too, a lot of it influenced by reggae, and some of it a more "punkish" sound than Synchronisity, as I recall (it's been a while since I last heard it).
Oh, and I agree, Lizra: The Police was much better than Sting's solo stuff (although I like some of Sting's stuff) -- Stuart Copeland kept the "edge" on, I think.:)

I love "Every Breath you take" and I definitely want to listen to "Roxanne" (haven't heard it yet). Inspired by Moulin Rouge.
