OK, we have permission from an admin to start a different thread for X2, so here it is.

Do we want to spoil the thing about Jean? No? OK, I'll use the proper greying out.

Jean gets the Pheonix power! It doesn't happen on the moon, but she gets it anyway, and now she's underwater like the story went, so we can all guess that the next X-Men is going to be Phoenix Rising.

Rogue still isn't Rogue, and Bobby has a coming out party. Wolverine explores his past. YAY! Nightcrawler has finally arrived. Still no Beast, which is the biggest disappointment of all. All in all, it's very much in the spirit of X-Men, if not truly the stories we collectors know.

Why exactly have we started another X-Men 2 thread? I'm a little annoyed by the talk of "spoiling" the Phoenix story. Your local library probably has a copy of the Dark Phoenix paperback; read the comic already. And anyway I don't know how to make the gray spoiler thingie. So I'm just gonna say: Elfhelm, I bet the next movie will not only be Phoenix Rising, but Dark Phoenix as well, in one flick. Unless they want to go for four movies.
