Ok, I have seen The Two Towers 3 times now, and each time I could've sworn I saw Peter Jackson in battle armor in Helm's Deep. I saw him right after the Uruk-Hai started trying to break the doors down, PJ was throwing a rock at them! Did anyone else see him??? I'm sorry, it's just bugging me.

Aha! So I am not alone (Hi LOTR, watsup?)!!

Did anyone else see him?

Yes, he is indeed the one throwing the rock.

That's the one PJ cameo in TTT that I've caught, to rumour has it that he's also one of the Wild Men that Saruman rallies near the beginning of the film.

His kids are in the caves, I think. I will have to look for these shots.

I heard PJ himself(or someone else affiliated closely with the movies) disspell the idea that he was one of the wildman. He did acknowledge, however, that he was at Helm's Deep and that his children were in the gilttering caves.

I noticed his children at the caves... perhaps his son as well -wait, does he have a son?!-(I forget, havent seen it in a while), but specifically his daughter. Also took note of the rumor that he was a wildman, and I caught a glimpse of what could have been him.

You dont' have to wait until august 26 to see it... just download it from kazaa. the quality sucks monkeys, and I've never watched it, and it's really stooping of me, but it comes in handy for stuff like this.

I saw a little boy in the caves that looked like he could've been Sean Astin's kid. Except I'm not sure if Sean Astin has a son either....

Cool, you met Sean Astin?

Well, since he does have a son, Maybe it WAS him I saw in the caves.

In the LotR fan magazine, PJ said he really would have liked to be a wild man, but he didn't think of it until they were done filming that, so had to be content with being a warrior.

Sean Astin has two daughters, Lizzy and Ally. I think it's Lizzy who will be playing Elanor at the end of the ROTK.

Didn't Viggo's son play a part too? I heard a long time ago that he was one of the older kids that got to fight. Was he the kid that Aragorn taught how to use the sword in TTT?

If he was, they don't really look alike. But not all relations do.

I didn't know Viggo Mortensen had a son.

How many people from the Lord of the Rings have sons I don't know about, anyway??

I found a good site that listed the cameos in TT, but can't find it now....

But I did find another site that listed:

PJ - first man to throw stone at orcs at Helm's Deep, like Dreran said.

PJ's kids - also at Helm's Deep - if you saw them in FOTR, you'll recognize them here.

Viggo's son - when Aragorn calls the boy over at H.Deep, the boy looking at a sword, standing behind the boy he calls over, is Viggo's son.

I also heard Alan Lee has a cameo at Helms Deep, but can't find it anymore....

Definitely saw PJ, funny stuff. about viggo's son-he was one of the main reasons he decided to play aragorn, originally someone else was cast, but it didn't work out and they called up viggo and his son convinced him to do it, cuz he enjoyed the books. don't know if he was in the movie though....

pj and frans children were also hobbits that bilbo was telling stories too in FotR

he is also appearing in RotK.... doing a sort of hitchcock thing of trying to appear in each of his movies

the most easy one to spot is in FotR when he's eating a carrot in bree:D

Yes, they show a close up of him in Bree. He turns around and burps and I believe he is eating a carrot.

Yup that was him I thought the same thing! I mean I though that I was crazy or something I prsonally think that maybe they couldnt find enough actors or somthing because that is not very commen to find the director of the movie in one of the parts of the movie!

he's trying to do what hitchcock did and make a cameo in his movies

Dreran the Green
06-11-2003, 12:11 PM
I would too if I were him:rolleyes: There are alot of things I WOULDNT have done, but no need to start on that.

One of my friends says that during some part at the begining in the shire you can see Shriners riding three little cars way in the distance:eek: That seems a little unbeleivable to me but they swear its true.

Are there shriners in New Zealand?

I know PJ does a cameo in FOTR, but I didn't see him in TTT. (I can't wait to watch it again!!!) I saw Katie and Billy Jackson in FOTR, but didn't notice them in TTT, either.
If the kid in TTT that Aragorn talks to ("You have a good sword, son of Hama", or whatever he said) is his son, you should recognize him. If you've ever seen a picture of Viggo younger (I have, but I can't remember where just now) he looks just like his son looks now. I think his son will look just like him when he gets older.
