SHATTERED MIRROR

Just thought I'd start my own RP here. Let's see how it goes.

Premise: Set in FOTR, starting right at the point where Galadriel has Frodo look into her mirror. What would have happened if the Ring had been successful in it's attempt to gain purchase into the water?

As for character claimage, I claim.....Boromir.

Great! All we need now are 4 hobbits and a dwarf and we're all ready to go!

Alright, alright, everyone can be who they claimed.

Off topic, I've just noticed something that's really trifle, but yet is bothering me quite a bit. Out of all of the little message icons that they have that you can attach to your post, they don't have any male elves. Why is that? They have Gollum, Strider, Treebeard, Gimli, but NO ELVES! Why? Why? Why?

alright, so who else do we need we got these characters down for sure:

Sane: Aragorn
Aramanthea: Boromir
Legoles: Legolas (coincedence, I think not!)
Kalile: Galadriel *snickers* (I said nothing!)

and thats about it, so we need to sort this out before starting! Who wants to be the Dwarf, why are there no claims for him?!

Oh, well then. I see. It doesnt quite matter as I/we will be too busy laughing at you. you're the comic relief no matter what character you take! At leat with with "Mrs.G" you get to be tall! :D

Tall is good. :D In real life I'm short, and on my paper rpg I'm also short. :( So tall is :cool:

We still need bad guys, yes, but we can alls plays them, we cans.

As for Frodo, I think that we should take Aralyn's suggestion and have everyone play him.

WE ARE STARTING NOW!!!!!
Galadriel saw movement out of the corner of her eye, and dread seized hold. The Ring! She leaped to catch it, but did not reach the mirror in time. It plunged into the water, vanishing. Quickly, the elf snatched the knife she carried and cut the chain before Frodo could hit the now black water.
"Are you alright, Ringbearer?"

OOC:Arent I a stinker?!?! hmm, elven queen of untold age leaping like a school girl to catch a ring....Interesting mental image that brings up!!

I saw the elf lady jump and miss the ring, instead cutting the chain from Frodo's neck. "FRODO!!!" we all yelled. the ring had vanished. "Great, what are we going to do now?" i asked and got nought but looks from the others. I could tell on my own that this was not supposed to happen.



OOC2: I am amazed! the wonders of a *former* midget never ceases!

"There's no telling where it went. At best it has gone to Elrond again, but at worst... it is even now in Sauron's hand."

Oh dear, I thought to my self. We're in for it now! I had secretly though to my self that there was no way the ring made it to Elrond. It had to have gone to Sauron. I said a little prayer to my self.

The war has started. And not in a way conducive to us.

It was either now or never. I wish that it would be the former!

OOC2:The grown Midgets will not rule the world! Not while I Draw breath!

"Of course, it will be the fell hand of Sauron that shall retrieve the Ring!" Boromir cried, leaping to his feet. "Had any listened to me, at the Council of Elrond, then the Ring would still be in our possession!"

"You are a fool, albeit a brave one."
Remembering her 'words' earlier, Boromir bit his lip.

Ooc: Sauron does have a form. He just looks around with his eye. Otherwise, how would he issue commands?

And maybe you will not draw breath for much longer. Hee hee :D

"Where d'yo suppose it's gone? Should we split up?"

ooc: I know I said evryone play him but I meant who would answer right then

Ooc: oh. Well, he um... passed out. That temporarily solves the problem. (Why do I get the feeling he's going to be unconcious for most of the game?)

Ic: "It won't have gotten all the way to Mordor yet. The last place he saw, just before the ring hit the water, appeared to be the Shire."

Someone: "Again? It just left!"

Galadriel glared at the interruption. "BUT it will be seeking the Nazgul, who will soon know of this misfortune."

I will not pass out as easily as that! Now i gotta take a breather from all this!

Ooc: Frodo passed out.

Ic: A short time later...
"We are all ready?" Galadriel had armed herself with a shortbow and dagger. She also carried her silver water pitcher, which she often used to scry.

Ooc: there ya go, Sane. :p

OOC:sane[ or should I say insane] I dont like Legolas or Orlando Bloom grrr my sig is a joke
I also claim my sheelf form Imhuriel!!!
anyway Legolas and a strange elf join the party armed to the teeth with a coat of mithril each, silver daggers, bow&arrows[of course], Legolas knife, and Imhuriels sword.

"Why should we just blindly go forth? I still believe that the ring is now in Sauron's possession. Should we not now go to the land of Gondor, where the people are strong against the incoming darkeness, and lend them what assistance we may? That seems the most fruitful course." Boromir liked to speak and act high, but he was just that--all words, and pretend action, but no real drive behind his statements. He ended up following behind the company despite his grand words.

[Legoles]

"Maybe we should seek the council of the other elves in Mirkwood" said Imhuriel." It would be wise as Galadriel, Legolas, and I are elves and Legolas and I are from Mirkwood." But if my council won't be taken then it won' be taken but dont say I didnt suggest

[Amaranthea]

"Fine. Let us be off to Mirkwood, then. It would be a most unlikely place indeed for us to be should Sauron be looking." Galadriel spoke, and the company then rode off in the direction of Mirkwood.

[Legoles]

At the borders of Lorien our first battle began, a group of orc scouts had stumbled upon our path, so we quickly cleared them out, Galadriel clearly freaked a couple of them into insanity so we quickly beat out the next group of orcs"sneaking" behind us. We then rode on twords Mirkwood
