You have to admit it was a pale attempt at comedy. It's much funnier to write a nearly believable outline with subtle jokes than to go over the top with exageration about everything. Clearly the author of the sarcastic pseudo-blurb had a few issues with LotR the movie which are far more effectively argued at our own site.

I hope you don't think I disagree with you about everything, it's just that this one is kind of dull, IMHO.

I went in a bit suspiscious, due to having heard that he does NOT intend to do the Hobbit for a long time. I knew it was a joke when it was eight movies of five hours each. :D

Sorry if that sems a bit harsh but I am stuck in a cabin in the middle of Pennsylvania with my grnadparents and boring aunt and uncle and really annoying 2 year old cousin. Oh ya... and the internet connection is so slow it took almost 5 minutes to load this page.
