No, I am not advertising this. I just am wondering if anyone else ever goes there, and if they do what they call themselves there. I go occasionally, under the alias "Arien". It's pretty cool, and the people are generally very friendly and intelligent. With some exceptions of course! :)

i have heard of it, i might have been there, not sure. has anyone been to The Barrow Downs forum, i enjoy it tremendously. everyone there is well versed in tolkien. if you ever have a question directing it there might be a good idea. of coarse the entmoot is a perfectly good place too

I went there a couple times. They were rude to me, or at least one chatter was. He kept calling me "Bettle Midler" :/ So I didn't go back. And I just don't really like chats; they tend to be pointless and time-consuming.

i never seem to be online when anyone else is, that alone keeps most chatrooms inaccessible to people (for example, who else at entmoot posts in the middle of the american/canadien night?)
