The dragonlance chronicles have far too many books, but I find the Dragons of Autumn Twighlight, Dragons of Winter Night, and Dragons of Spring Dawning to be very very good. I haven't read any of the other's, except for one of The Time of the Twins series, about Caramon and the evil Raistlin.

Personally, of the DL series, I liked the Twin series best. I really didn't understand the end of the Dragons of...series.

Of course, as I said on the DragonLance thread, none of them are better than non-game-based books, IMO. :D

I'm still reading the Twins series: got the second book yesterday. Raistlin's a little too creepy for me.
The Dragons of... series ended with evil, in the form of Raistlin, turning in on evil, the dark queen. It shows how good can lose, and evil be integral to a victory, and that nothing comes without a price. Also, at the end of the books good doesn't triumph over evil; the balance is restored. That is more real to life than most stories.

Pretty deep stuff for an eigth grader, huh :D

I think that nature makes twins when one person is in danger of being born perfect. I mean, Raistlin is amazingly shrewd and intelligent, weak, and has too much of the bitterness of human souls. Caramon is superbly physically fit, has most of the goodness of his soul, and isn't the brightest person around.
Just aome food for thought.
