But i agree with what Lanelf said i hope they don't rush it and stuff it up! I'd rather wait and it be brilliant than not wait and it have been rushed and not ended up as well as hoped. This is the big one! It's going to get them all the awards! The trilogy complete!

I think they should leave the official release date as it currently stands (December 17th), by any means. The movie's going to be so visible, there's no way its Oscar chances are going to be hurt just because it opens close to the nomination deadline.

Besides, November's going to be an extremely tight crunch this year.

And I've already scheduled myself around a December 17th opening... finish exams the week before, and possibly go to Debate Worlds in Singapore the week after... it fits very neatly into my schedule. :p

PJ has also said he refuses to play the Award Show Game, and I'm sure he'll be working his butt off to get it done soon, but he won't let it end up being a sloppy job. I don't want it to come out earlier, nor do I want it to be finished any sooner than need be.

Relax guys. I read somewhere the acting is pretty much over, all that needs to be fine-tuned is some of the special effects and the score.

The acting isn't done, they're going to be doing pick up shots soon (April or May, I think...not sure). Also, I am worried about the score and the special effects. If they're wonky and cheesy, it'll ruin the film.

I agree. I think PJ will get it done faster than most people just because that's how he works but what quality work he can do in a week it takes most people three.
