A question about FotR movie

I bought the dvd of FotR and was wondering what is on the extended version that isn't on the other?

There are a number of new or extended scenes. The best of which is, of course, the Gift-giving. :D

Welcome to Entmoot! There are a few threads already here about the Extended Edition of FotR; this is the main one. (http://entmoot.tolkientrail.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5673) you can find the others by doing a search, if you want.
Edit: Also, it is indicated on the dvd itself which are added or extended scenes.
Second edit: I wasn't sure from your post whether or not you meant you had the regular or extended version, but anyway, if it's the regular and you don't find the answer in that thread, just post the question in that thread and someone will list it for you.
