I was recently browsing a movie site and I found what may be a picture of a Shelob Model! To see it, head for [edited]
Could this really be a picture of Shelob?

now a question for you- are you the sort of fan who read LotR before seeing the movie, or after, if at all?

Could this really be a picture of Shelob?It is not a picture of Shelob -- it is a picture of a model spider. And even if the model spider is a model Shelob, it still would not be a picture of Shelob, because it would be a picture of a model shelob, and not a picture of Shelob. :rolleyes:

There is a picture in my page a day calendar that appears to be orcs having their way with a bundle wraped in spider silk. (Frodo?) On July 12-13, several orcs are cutting open a largish mesh encased bundle with hobbit feet showing. There are at least eleven orcs in this nasty room, it's very icky! :eek:

I think they are playing giant "Cootie" in that picture. :)

I saw a pix of Shelob (big and black, with red beady eyes) perched on a rock on another forum. She was hard to see in all the blackness!

The other day i found a site with pictures from ROTK. I can't find it again or i would have posted a link.
There is a picture of Shelob in her Lair and it was cool but a bit creepy. There are quite a few like Frodo holding the phial from Galadriel.
If i find it again i'll post a link!

Well, it's technically not an actual picture, but it could be a model of Shelob to help the people who do the CGI stuff or whatever.
