A Plea to people learned in Elvish

I was wondering as many of us do what 'Beloved', 'David' and 'Davie' would look like in Elvish. In whatever Elvish you learned i would greatly appreciate anyones help.

Davie would be Lavir in Quenya and Dewidh in Sindarin. I don't think the Elves did much shortening of names, so "Davie" might be impossible.

Beloved in Quenya (as an adjective) is "melda". I can't find a noun form.
