ME RP sources?

I'm hosting a game of LOTR RPG online. Unfortunately, most of the players seem to be more powergamers than roleplayers, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some resources with information on playing the various races, cultures, etc. in Middle-Earth.

Eventhough the MERP magic system was UN-ME like. The resources for the racces were VERY good.

Try a merp search on google.

Would you consider running one here?

You mean in the RPG forum? That'd be pretty slow, wouldn't it? :eek: And also, I don't think I'd do very well narrating two at once. :eek: But if anyone's interested, my AIM ID is eldarinlord or elflord2002 (I use each at different times). My MSN is elflord2002@hotmail.com.

EDIT: Two of the characters are just making clones of Legolas/Aragorn. 1 is a Power-Gamer (Though I must confess I like his character more than the others; at least it's more original). Thankfully, one seems to be more interested in actually roleplaying

Its a time thing. My computer is at work and here in the forum it gives some more time to think and weave a good tale.

We had a fairly good game going here but I had to back out.

Most of the players just did not have the time to post daily or at the same time. We were( still are) in different parts of the world.

Of well that's too bad I think it would have been fun.

PS One of my email account is has elvenlord as part of the title.

My Yahoo is elfinking64. :eek: The only messenger I'm on where I'm NOT an Elf-lord of some sort is ICQ. :rolleyes:

EDIT: Anyway, I did a number of searches on google: "merp resources" "merp resources roleplaying" "merp races roleplaying"
"merp races roleplaying resources", and didn't find anything. :( Anyone know a site where I can find resources, since Google didn't work well?
