Why should we post our character every time we want to join a rp?We can just join and then let the character reveal as the roleplay goes on...What do you think?I think it will be more interesting like this:)

Personally I agree, that's a good idea. I've had a couple chances to do that, and I prefer it! It's like a book! but sometimes it IS nice for others to know a little about your character, or they might goof something up. Or you might find out your character and there's has the same sword, or item or something, then wouldn't that be embarassing!?

I agree that this could be interesting :) but listing up and creating a character (or bringing in an old character) is what one usually do when one is playing a real board RPG, and I guess that is the reason for this :) Gives the GM an easier job putting all characters into the plot also :p

Perhaps not posting ALL the info would be nice, but you need to post SOME.

I mean while it wasn't obvious Aragorn was supposed to be a king, it was fairly clear that he was a human and had lived a rough life in the wild.

See what I mean? Without any desc at all people will be calling hobbits humans, elves dwarvs, and anything else you can think of. Also in something like that I would be terrified about writing anyone else's char into my posts or even saying anything to them, you have no idea what the other person can or can't do.

That's very good too, posting some of your character's info than all of it...:)

Oh, I don't know. Sometimes you need to write about someone else's character in your post, and that's hard enough with a complex character description!

I would like to try this new method before trying to discredit it. After all, we wouldn't have chocolate if someone didn't try it first. <I LOVE chocolate.> Ma alus did tell me ta try new things. <No, I am not making fun of anyone, I just occationally like to use an accent.>
