Actress Liv Tyler has turned her back on a Hollywood wedding - to get married in Yorkshire instead.

The Lord of the Rings star is set to tie the knot in Headingley, Leeds.

Her rock star fiance Royston Langdon, who fronts Spacehog, is from the area.

His dad Chester told the Daily Star: "Liv really likes it here in Leeds. She's a lovely lass. It's going to be a great occasion."

He added: "I'm thrilled. We're really looking forward to the big day."

The paper said Liv, 25, who plays elf princess Arwen Evenstar in the movie, is so in love with Yorkshire she even paid £3 to join Headingley's working men's club.

It quoted Liv as saying: "I love Leeds and the area around it.

"I love the Roman ruins and the rolling hills. It is so beautiful.

"I've also become a big fan of Yorkshire pudding."

Well bad news for me, thought I might still be in with a chance there, ah well. Still if she DOES get hitched in Headlingley she could time it when Leeds Rhinos are at home. Oh no...what if she ends up a Tykes fan? Could I still love her?

Evenstar1400 was VERY jealous about what Livsaid about watching over him... and having him drive her places. So what if they drive on the wrong side of the road over there? GET OVER IT!

Sorry... One of my friends told me that Liv had to wear lip protectors when she kissed Viggo because of him mustache. That's why her lips always look chapped...Does anyone know if there is any truth behind this rumor? I would very mush like to know!:) :)

He is hot no matter what!!! But thankyou... he does look good in costume! Very sexy!:) :) I think Viggo has a great personality, but he is way to old for me!:) :)

I remember seeing them together awhile back. He's not the kind of guy you would think Liv Tyler would be with. If I remember correctly he's shorter than she is, but she is tall. :)

Well.. liv's trailer was right next to Orlando's. She said that since he is a new young actor... that she felt she had to watch over him and make sure he was dong okay. Becuase they were in New Zealand, they drive on the other side of the road, then in the US... So Liv made Orlando drive her around everywhere!:) :) There was more, but I forget it!:) :)
