Yes, it goes like that in the book and it definately sounds like that, I followed a link from Elf.Freak and though though the words said "pub" when you played it it said "bottle" loud and clear!

i dont fully understand this thread. You cannot go to the bottle! you can go get a bottle. You go to a pub where you get a bottle.

I dont think pub was in the hobbit's voacabulary so it'd be totally unessecary for them to sing Pub when they dont even have such a word. It's more modern like and what not and you have to remember the hobbits do not like modern stuff...I think the correct word would be Inn because THAT is where most of the drinking in Mideveal or mideveal based literature takes place. :)
The only "beer" that I drink is Apple Beer or Root Beer...Root Beer's more often BUT Apple Beer is REALLY good. I mean REALLY REALLY good. Kind of snappy and tangy...without the alchohol.
