With no great cliffhanger like Sam throwing himself against the gates only to have no effect, I was hoping they would do this scene from the Crossroads:

They are tired, leaning against the fallen statuary, they are talking about the darkness, and Frodo sees a flower growing from the carven crown of an ancient king of men and he says "Look, there's hope yet!" That would have worked, too, considering how many other times the word "hope" is used in TTT movie.

I'd have liked to see Pippin and Palantir and Shelob.

...and I know it's not in the book...but...(Aragorn fans are going to kill me for this) I'd like to see Aragorn be killed. It wouldn't be so bad...after all, big characters like him give you sense of emotion when they die. Bringing them back kind of changes that emotion. It takes away all the feeling that you have towards the characters when someone they loved has died. Besides, they could have done it like they did Haldir's. I felt kinda happy when he "died" in the movie but then stupid Arwen has to bring him back. :mad:

I was really ticked at the lack of Shelob in TTT, but it'll most certainly be in RotK. Still what a waste of a perfect pre-written cliffhanger.

My guess is, though, that they will cut out the orc tower imprisonment. I guess that Frodo will get stung, but Sam will rescue him from the orcs and they'll move on to the crossroads.

Just a guess!

The thing I missed the most from TTT were the Huorns at Helm's Deep, I think.

That was cut, I read that it will be on the Extended Edition DVD...

I wish that they had included Shelob in TTT so that they wouldn't have to cut out some of the third one. I loved Helm's Deep, but I thought that it was a little long and it wasn't supposed to be that big. Oh well.

I would of like to seen Shelob I haven't read the book but my Bf has told me about it. But I loved the sene of Helm's Deep!!!:o :rolleyes:

I think they should have put at least the breaking of Saruman's staff in it. And When Wormtonge arrived at Isenguard. It would have been good if they put in more about when Gimli and Legolas were trying to kill more orks than the other guy.

That was a really brave part for Gimli, going into the cave and being attacked by heaps of orks, getting out alive and slaying more orks than Legolas without being an archer. They skipped it and put in heaps of funny things with Gimli. Apart from the fact that he's better at fighting, he's more useless than Merry and Pippin (in the movie). (In case it's not obvious, Gimli's one of my favourite characters).

Shelob, just like everyone else. I also sort of wish that the Palatir was in there, I think Gandalf and Pippin riding off to Minas Tirith would have been a good end to that section of the movie.

I think they will have it since Galadriel did give then the vial with the light of Earendil in the extended DVD of FotR. So keep your fingers crossed. :)
