Here is a link with the writing in Black Speech (language of Mordor):http://nelkahn.xoasis.com/pix/t-script.png; it's kinda fuzzy, I'll see if I can find a better one later. Oh, and by the way, the inscription on the ring in the movie is in Black Speech, I think they just say Elvish because they don't want other people to get totally confused. You're right though, it's not Elvish, but Tengwar characters.:)

Yes, but wasn't the language of Mordor a version of the Elvish language? I think it says something like that in the appendicies about the diffrent speeches of ME.

Look in the chapter "The Shadow of the Past" of Fellowship of the Ring and the inscription should be printed there. Or at least it is in my edition.

The script or letters are elvish, but not the language. The twengar alphabet was used by many languages other than elvish ones.

Ahh from what the site says it sounded like it was written in elvish(when read)
I know its in the book, but I was hoping I could get a picture(be more easy for him to look at the picture then to hold the book)

You could photocopy that page of your book.

Or here's another picture of it, though it is quite a bit smaller than the previous one I posted. http://www.sideshowtoy.com/placed/lotr/hm_ring.gif

Mordorc? I alway thought it was just the Black Speech. Where'd you hear that, FattyBulger?

Mordorc? It sounds like something made up from those "teach yourself orkish" sites. (No offense if it isn't ):)

You can find rings as low as $44.99 here:

Look for the rings in "Gollum Gold" (24k gold plated over bronze )

You mean those sites arent reliable????? Nuts!
How does one go about learning the Black Speech?

You can't. Tolkien didn't make up enough of it to be learnt. The "teach yourself orkish" sites just make it up.
