Growing Wings...

Has anyone out there read a book called Growing Wings, by Laurel Winters? It is very very really really quite good! It is rather short, it took me about a day to read it. I would really really like to talk to smeone about it if they have read it!! I would suggest it to people of all ages! It is about a girl her starts puberty, and then starts t ogrow wings. Her mother doesn't know what to d oso she dumps her at a hotel... I don't wnt to give to much away...:)

Yeah! I will give it a thought but is it a "girly" book or for both genders?

Well, the main charecter is a girl who is just coming of age... and she has wings. Her best friend is a girl. But it is really more about her experiences as she grows up.:) And about the fact that she has wings... and she feels incomfortable because... well... that is not normal no matter what your gender is. There are male charecters in the book. Now that i think about it it might be a little 'girly', but I think guys would really enjoy it aswell! It is awsome!:) It;s very fast paced, which I liked because sometimes I get weighed down in the boring parts of books, like explaining things that happened in the past, but this book doesn't have any boring parts in my humble opinion!:D
