Hey i had what i think is a great idea for a new thread well heres what i would like to do, ok all the elves are gone from lorien right? and frodo's already destroyed the ring and everything well i'm going to get a group together probably mostly what elves are left in middle earth and were going to re-build Lorien and take it back as our home! Men, dwarfs, hobbits, rangers and everything are welcome to join its not just for elves it's just an elf kinda thing. well ok so we all meet up and then we get to where Lorien is suppose to be and it's overrun with orcs and urci (sp) and that and we'll have to battle them and then there's more to come but i'll keep that a secret for now. WELL hope you join! I'll post my character later.

well, actually, my character is Galadriel's Daughter, and well, Lothlorien never really died, so if we want to change history a little bit, then I think that this would be fun. so, my character could just be a normal elf, and only a few people knew that I was the heir to Lothlorien, and I sort of am in hiding, like Aragorn was. is that alright? btw, my character is Losillewen, discript in Giant, S4L, etc....

Extra info/Looks: King Vasir wears a blue clothes and a blue cloak, his eyes are greyish-blue even his hair is blue. King Vasir is said to be wise, good humored and to have keen eyes though he is short tempered and is a cocky swordsman and has lost few to no battles.

Extra info/looks: glistenfae wears a grey cloak from dawn till dusk and then she wears a black cloak. Glistenfae is like a ranger she wanders a lot but is seldom seen. Glistenfae is great in sword play and has not yet met an enemy in which she could not defeat. Glistenfae is very very light of foot and very mysterious but is said to be short-tempered and doesn't take too kindly to strangers. Little else is known of Glistenfae since she is soo secretive.

My elf is from the race of the Teleri and lives in Nan Elmoth where her father had lived before he died. My sword is told of in the Silmarillion as a jet black blade and shiny. She never leaves her sword. EVER.
She also has a black horse named Ruin "Red Flame"
My character is very stubern and self reliant. She likes to compete alot and be the best at everything. She has good eyesight in the dark because of her life in the dark woods like her father. She is good friends with the dwarves and does have the phoenix.

My character is very icelated were she lives so I will probably show up in a manner of curiosity and dworf gossip of the fall of Lorien. And since she has never seen other elves before save her father she will trynto travel to Lorien to see what happend. I think this Nan Elmoth is near Beleriand near the north of ME so its near Mrodor and Gondor.

uh i think we just lost a character, that is to speak that gladious faerie has quit i suppose since SHE hasn't answered any posts in this so i'm throwing her out unless she speaks up! (ok lets see, i really dont' know how to start so this will just have to do. I wish tab would work on this i hate not indenting!)

With my hood down as always i snuck around the trees following a bunch of orcs trying to find out where they were going. I stopped suddenly and noticed where i was, Lorien, "home," i quivered in ancient elvish. I looked around Lorien had been destroyed! Toast, it was dead not a single soul seemed to be left, a tear stole down my cheek i may not have visited often for i didn't want my true identy revealed but it was still home. I couldn't bare it, i fled quickly and soon decided that i wasn't going to take this! Lorien had to be home again i couldn't let the orcs take it not without a fight! I sent out word everywhere where elves lived and roamed about having a meeting in a forest i knew well called,Minashk . I was hoping anyone would come and help me fight off the orcs and to save my original home. As soon as i sent out messages i went to Minashk quickly but since i had to pass by Lorien to get there i would not risk taking a horse for it would make too much noise and i did not want to be discovered at the moment.

I was called to my Father's house, where he waved a letter in my face. "You have been called to Minashk. To help rebuild the home of your grandmother and your kin." I waited. "Inye lelya ana Minashk, atta." With that, I prepared to leave, setting out from Rivendell at sunset.

ooc: I'm changing my carachter to Gabby, the Gnome. Here's his descrip:

Name: Gablon. (Eveybody just calls him gabby)
Description: 2 feet tall, large feet and small body, Large pointed head(Kinda like the gnomes off Harry Potter. Wears a Big Red Jumper that reaches down to his knees, and a belt strapped around the middle so that it makes the bottom half of the jumper into a Kilt. He wears a Big Brown scarf around his neck. Has a Small Pick-Axe strapped to his back.
Personality: Get's extremely nervous when surrounded by Big Folk, when he get's nervous he Sweats and Re-arranges his scarf continuously. He is very jumpy and frightens easily. He is very clumsy and is known for causing 'accidental' destruction wherever he goes. Being so frightened all the time, his voice is now permanantely squeaky and when dangers is at hand his best move is to 'Duck And Cover'. He has been known to 'laugh in the face of Danger and then Hide until it goes away'. He may be a bit of a coward but his courage is Remarkable when he uses it. He is quite intelligent but not very wise.
Weapons: Being not very skilled with a sword, because his size let's him down, he uses his Pick-Axe to defend himself against anything that might harm him.

Was that a fellow elvish voice i heard? I turned around and saw that it was! "Why hello?! I wasn't expecting anyone till well tomorrow or three to four days! And who might you be? I'm guessing from the horse your ridding and the direction you came you must be from Rivendale?," I said in ancient elvish in suprise. I walked closer to the elf as i spoke and rubbed my hand over the horses neck.

The elf seemed welcoming, "Tancale, Imladris. Inye Astarien, indyo Galadriel, Elrond attanya." I siad, introducing myself.


TRANSLATION Yes, Rivendell, I'm Astarien, grandaughter of Galadriel, Elrond is my Father.

"Great to have you, I shall hope that more elves should arrive soon, I wonder what happened to Galadriel when the orcs came? what a puzzler oh well back to bussiness! Come if you wish, you can lead your horse around or tie 'em up, choice is yours," I spoke as friendly as i could for i still felt sorrow for such a loss. I turned swiftly and went back to what i was doing setting up seats for the meeting.

ic: I greeted Ballan my dwarf friend as I started to beat at the hot iron of my axe gift for kili. The iron was hard and took away my anger if I had any. Ballan shecked my work and gave me a look of admiaration.
"I think he will like it."
I continued my work en till it became dark, Or as dark as it gets in the forests and I joined my dwarf friends for a sit around the fire and singing old forgotten songs omong the young. I was adopted by the dwarves evr since i could remember and always wondered why I never saw any other race like myself and similer.
The conversatipon turned as a foriegn dwarf who usually gave us news told us of the fall of Lorien and the departure of the elves.

ic: I gasped for I had never heard of my own kind from anyone before. It was as though the dwarves tried to keep me from them for fear of my departure. I loved them for this. They were great friends.
"Really elves. From were?" I asked in exitment. More than I had ment.
"from Lorien." He responded.
"Their home was destroyed and now one elf doesen't want to leave the place. She wants to fight the orcs to her death to defend her home. Even now that the magic is gone."
The other dwarves tried to motion for him to quite up but he did not.
"They were golden haired folk. Fair and old, wise and full of old lure of their people and ours."
"I want to see them." I whispered.
"Maube its time you do." Said Kili.
"I mean you are an elf. Yet you may not fit in very well for you have not lived with elves or any of your kin."
"I know" I said sadly
"But I will never envy any other for I have you for a familly."
They all cheered and raised their glasses in happiness.
The dwarves started a song as I drifted off to another land full of elves As I thought them to look. I have never even seen an elf before except myself. But I was raven heard and not like a elf of light. My mind kept at these thoughts and dreams throughout my sleep and I decided to myself "I will go to this Lorien and find other elves and finally meet my kin."

I turned and clucked to Haran, for he was still heaving on the speed and distance of the ride. "Sere, Haran. Sere...sere.." I whispered as I undid his bridle and saddle. I laid them down, and turned to him. "Heca, Haran! Tula ana i nen!" He trotted off to a nearby stream.

lol, it didnt' really matter to me what u said to the horse yes yes i think i will pm them. I'm very slowly picking up the language i know a few frases and i've book marked a translation page but it isn't helping too greatly.

I scuttled past several dark looming trees. I re-aranged my scarf and carried on. I produced a letter from an inside pocket in my Jumper.

It read:

'Come to Mishnak for a great council'

I had stolen it from an elf in Mirkwood. I had snuck behind him whilst he was sitting by a fire at night. I prided my self in my ability to steal without being noticed, even from elves! I scuttled forward and stood behind a tree. I looked out from the side. There she was. The Elf I had been tracking all the way from Rivendell. I scuttled forward and clambered up the side of her horse. I quietly unzipped her rucksack and slipped inside. It was going to be a long journey. I snuggled into some spare clothes and fell asleep.

ooc: The Elf that I am now inside her back is Astarian. This is before she arrived at Mishnak.

I finished moving the junk off of the table the last step of what i had come to prepare for the concil. I turned to Astarian and looked thoughtfully at her, "I am glad i am not alone on this, you did bring your weapon of course i shall hope to be off as soon as possible after the concil, and let me guess your choice is bow like all other elves except for me and very few other elves who choose other such things." I smirked at the end of words, I then saw that the bags on Astarians horse were russling a tad but thought nothing more of it.

ic: I packed quickly for my journey though I did not know for how long my journey would be an were I was going. I had a map of ME and saw that we were near Gonodr and Lorien wa just on the boarder of Rohan were th horse men dwelt. I feard them for they tried to take my horse once thinking it to b a runaway. I decided I would try to get on the road of Mishnak. I waite till dark the next day and set of on my horse towards GObdor then the road of Mishnak. I had to travelle by night to avoid humans. I knew already that elves could see in the dark but I will beable to see them before they catch me.
I set out that night leaving a note with my phoenix of my wereabouts. I knew they wold try to follow but I wanted to se elves for once and explore ME.

I smiled. "Yes, I am skilled at the bow, but I also like to fight with knives, and, ocasionally, a short sword of my kin's crafting." I turned and looked into the forest, snesing something.

"Hmmm yes i know i sense it too. I'm quite concerened about it i should hope it be another elf and not a wretched orc that has followed me here!"

Far north a messenger comes into a camp of Rangers. What appears to be the head ranger goes to the messenger, and is handed a letter. He walks away, but is followed by a unoticed elf. She is black cloaked, comes up behind him, and says: "Aragorn, I presume you were looking for me?" he looks up at her as she removes her hood, and he sees the pale face of a very wise and aged elf. She hardly ever smiled, and it was impossible to tell what she was thinking, and in her eyes was only emptiness, sadness and despair, they had once held hope and happyness, but long ago that had faded, never to return. Aragorn bowed, handed her the letter, and walked back to camp. A little later the same elf walks up to him, and without being noticed by the other rangers she whispers in his ear: "Aragorn, I am leaving for this letter concerns Lorien, I hope to be back soon, Namarie." Aragorn nodded, for he was one of the few people whom she had dared to tell her true history. To most she was known as simply Losillewen, to others she was known as Ilye the secretive, and to the few that truly knew her she was known as Princess Losillewen, the wise and powerful bearer, and they were the few that knew not to get her mad at them, for she could win almost any battle with any weapon.

The elf dissapeared into the trees where she found her horse, Namarie. She leaped upon him, (Namarie would bear neither the saddle nor the bridle) and urged him to a gallop towards the Minashk.

She came upon Minashk, dismounted at the boarders, and walked deeply and quietly through the wood. She turned at the sound of voices, and unsheathed her dagger. Upon getting closer to them she recgonized it to be the sound of elves, but even then she did not sheath her dagger. Glancing through the deep trees she saw two elves, looking towards her, although they did not yet know where exactly she was. She circled round to the back of them, drew her sword, and carefully walked out of the trees.

"Oh foolish elf! You may not think i sense you but i do, i know little of who you are but, i know your style so would you put down your sword. Just come and join us while we wait!" I laughed as i probably suprised the elf behind me. i quickly moved to the side and turned around just in case that this elf thought i was a sorceer or something, since i knew that this elf was behind me and would probably strike. "And now you wonder how i knew you were there! And i shall reply with the same know how that you yourself have felt pain and hurt as i have.

"You know too little of who I am to be talking to me like that," she says coldly, sheathing her sword, but still holding onto her dagger. "I do not wonder how you knew that I was there, any elf should have been able to sense me," she said, her expression not changing. "Felt pain? Pain?" her tone was disbelieving, but in her eyes they could tell that she understood what the elf had meant. "I have felt more then pain in my long years here, But now is not the time or place to disturb memory's."

"Yes now is not the time, maybe at a later time you will inform me more of who you are but now there is no time. I do not wish to fight with you either, I am solemnly here to fight for Lorien until after when i shall wander once again! But there is no time at all to talk of such things. I am glad that i didn't startle you though," I spoke as solemnly as one could for i was quite disturbed by this elfs words. Suddenly i heard a rustle in the woods. Drawing my sword from my sheath as i crept quietly towards the sound. Keeping my sword behind me i grabbed the sloutched figure. I dragged it out into the light. I quickly noticed that it was an elf! "Why do you cower so? And why have you stayed hidden, you are one of us are you not? What kind of elf hides from their own kin?" Suprised by this newcomer yet, welcomed by it since it had not been a spy in which i had feared. I put my sword back into it's sheath under my cloak, and held out a hand to help the elf up.

ic: I travaled all night avoiding being spotted by humans who passed by. I sat by my fire polishing Galvorn listening to distant travelers pass by my little camp site. I heard in the dsitance a fermiliar name"Aragorn" But thought nothing of it.
I started on my journey towards Lorien again the next sunset. I made my way down the trail but was distracted by silent talking near the trails edge. I teid my horse up near a tree and clamberd up a tree silently and peered down at the company that I heard.
I did not wish to run in to them without my knoledge of knowing if they were friend of foe. I saw three tall creatures surrounding a blazing fire. One stood in the shadows while the others sat in the light their hair flowing down freely shinning gold in the fire light. I knew at once these were elves.
I was so amazed at these creatures that I did not take caution and my breath started to get louder and I kept moving closer to the camp, making small russeling noises with the leaves. In simple words I was not being my usual silent self.

Astarien recognized Losillewen, but she said nothing. If Losillewen didn't greet her, she would remain silent. Astarien instead went to haran, and talked to him silently.

I heard the rider stop and get off the Horse. I bumpe about in the bag. I heard words but they were too muffled to understand them. I heard many other Riders come. I felt it would be best if I stayed inside the bag, so as not to be seen. I rummaged through the bag and uncovered a Moth Ball. I felt a tingling in my nose. I tried to hold it back, but it was too late.
''AAACHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!'' I yelped and looked around. I saw light as the pack began to open. I tried rummaging deeper into the bag away from the Hand that was reaching for me. It grabbed hold of my foot and pulled. I tried clinging on to the sides of the bag, yet to no avail. Soon I was outside hanging upside down in an elf's hand.
''Gerr' Off!!!!'' I yelped and twisted and pulled. I could not get free from the strong hands of the elf.

ic I peard at the odd group who seemed to be discusing something of importance since they tried to keep their voices as low as possible. Then I heard a loud sneeze that came out a bag an elf was holding. The elf reached into the bag and pulled out the most strangest looking creature I had ever seen.

Before I could stop myself I gave a yelp as I almost fell from my tree hidding spot.

"Ha, ha, ha! One disturbance causes many!" I laughed. "But what the heck is that anyhow?" I questioned pointing at the squirriming thing in Astarian's hand.

ooc: Come baaaaaaaack everyone. Whats going on I like this rpg?

ic: I was not heard by the elves for they had turned their attention to a strange creature one of them pulled out of their bag. I held in a yelp of surprise as I reconised the little creature as an gnome. Many gnoms enjoy hanging out near the mines gardens and tunnels.
I never really liked them much for they were quite pesky when it came to getting them to help or go away.
This one screamed out get of me so loud I hoped they would follow its request without delay. But they were to curious to do so. I waited a while and decided to return to my horse. I desended from the tree and patted the horse on the neck affectionatly.
But as I started off to the trail again since night had fallen a hooded figure came down the trail and before I could hide it saw me and took interst at once. i clutched my sword automaticly and waited. The figure got closer and only lifted its hood.
"I am not going to hurt you or battle you." He said calmly.
*as if you could hurt me*
" I simply want to know what a maiden is doing out hear alone at night?"
"That is my business." I snapped at once. He looked at me with perplexion and questioning in his eyes.
"I did not mean to affend you but there are orcs traveling these roads from Lorien who may pose a threat to you." He said quickly while eying her sword and face with the flick of his eyes.
"Do you think I cannot take what you call orcs?" I asked menecingly.
"I am Aragorn son of Arathorn king of Gondor (I hope he is now king)" He said proudly but I just stared at hyim wondering what Gondor was and who was Arathorn.
*Ok there are some things or MANY things Kili forgot to tell me of this land.*
I" I am not awar of this land called Gondor but I would like to ask of your assistance of where I can find a land called Lorien. The land you have just mentioned a minute ago?"

ooc: ms.umodail used aragorn as a way to get her letter since she is always travelling and so is aragorn and he just decided to take it and give it to her hes not really there there, u know? yes well.

ic: "That's it! No more interuptions! Either we get serious and think of a plan or you all leave and i do this myself!" I yelled getting furious. "As for you, we will deal with you later but you will not be going anywhere! If all the elves that are here are to save LORIEN we must work now! let any elf withing hearing range hear me!" I started to really yell and finally sat down in a huff. "stupid little..." i mummbled to myself.

ooc: Oh well it can be someoene else then. it really doesn't matter since he is only telling me of Lorien. :)

ic: The man told me the story of Lorien and what was left of the once proud and beautiful land. As he ended the story with the departure of the elves and the few who satyed back I stared to feel tears swell up in my eyes and quickly brushed them away.
"So Lorien is empty?"
"Yes" At that the man turned away and headed to his path leaving me to wonder what the elves who stayed back.
"Why did they not go to Valanar?" I asked myself not expecting an answer as usuall when I asked questiions outloud to myself.
Then in the distance a voice could be visibly heard screaming out in annoyance. I listend and heard the visible words talking about a journey to Lrien and interruptions. I scrambled on to my horse and hurried off to were I had left the small group of elves. I once more approaqched the area and this time revealed myself instead of ease dropping.
"Hello" I said to the elves who at once turned to look at the new visiter.

"Your late! And don't give me some foolish excuse! But what be your name and where did you come from?" I started to slowly calm down. "stupid elf, stupid late elf, stupid elves what ever happened to the smart ones i knew so long ago? " I mummbled under my breath.

ic: The elf who seemed to be the leader started at once to scold me of a reason not known to my mind.
"What do you speak of in such a foolish manner?"
"My name is Ellimir daughter of Eol of Nan Elmoth."
The elf stared at me for a second then nodded.
"So why are you late?"
"Late for what might I ask?"
"Late on arriving for my meeting."
"I did not recive news but only some days ago by a traveling dwarf friend."
"then why are you here?"
"I have never met another elf before but only in short stories of my father. Nor have I ever been out of my land execpt the dark deep mines of Moria."
"I thought Moria was taken by evil." retorted another elf.
"It has been rebuilt in honor of the defet of the witch King. I was to late to meet the elf Legolas and his friend Gimli who wanted to see Moria before their journey."
"I wish to help you rebuild you home for I have never seen such a wonderfly described land as Lorien."

Hearing the elf's comment about what happened to the 'smart' elves, "They have all sailed away, away to the fair shores of Valinor, I would be there now with my parents, but I chose to stay in Middle Earth until my time came. I am Losillewen, I got your message a few days ago, my homeland is Lorien, and I would like to see it rebuilt." Losillewen had decided to give the elf her name, for if she wanted to rebuild Lorien then she would help her. Slowly she turned to the newcomer. "Ellimir, You are correct that in the time of the elves Lothlorien was the fairest realm, but our time ended, and their are few left who wish to rebuild that great realm." Losillewen brought her hood down, and looked carefully at this new elf. "It is strange that a elf would live in the dark of Moria, and enjoy it there," she paused, "Is to help rebuild Lorien the only reason you are here?"

I yelped again and swung upwards. I got a firm grasp of her hand and bit down. She dropped me with a scream and I landed with a 'Thump!' on the ground. I lifted myself up and brushed the dust off.

''If you don't mind me, I'll be going!'' I made a dash for the woods near the side of the clearing when someone grabbed the back of my jumper. It was a Dark Hooded man. My eyes largened as I realised who it was.

''Hello Sir!!'' I said suddenly snapping my feet together and saluted the new person.
''Sorry Sir! I was just....just...'' I gulped and felt the sudden need to Re-Arange my scarf.

''Did you get what I wanted?'' He said sternly looking down on me.

''No Sir! I didn't have the chance! I...I...'' I gulped again still standing to Attention.

The Dark Man nodded and turned to face the others.

''I am sorry for this disturbance. I am Aralyn, but you may all call me Swift.'' He said looking at each one of the people with dark searching eyes.

ooc: I have an Idea! Sici, could you change your meeting with Aragorn to a meeting with a Dark man called swift? He is Aralyn son of Aragorn Heir to Aragorn. Prince Aralyn is his proper status. Like his father he usually uses a false name. I will play him through Gabby.

Before Losillewen had took no notice of the creature at first, but when the dark figure came into view she silently drew her dagger, and backed away into the shadows. Aralyn, she thought to herself, where had she heard that name before? The voice was also familiar, but now it was deeper, as one who would disguise their voice. She pondered this for a short while, remaining in the shadows. As hard as she tried she could not seem to find where she had heard that name before. She slipped the dagger into her sleeve, so just in case she could easily bring it out in a hurry. Slowly she again walked out into the light, but not replacing her hood as she normally would have done. "What business brings you here Aralyn?" she said cautiously, still on her guard.

ooc: um.... one quick question, since Losillewen knew Aragorn, is it possible that she met Aralyn some time before? She does not yet recognize him, and he does not recognize her, but if we could do this then it would be very nice, cause it would go along with what I am thinking of, but if you don't want to, then I don't mind. :rolleyes:

''Sir, shouldn't...'' I said but was stopped.

Parents: Aragorn and Arwen
Special: Alasse usually dresses in dark blue. She is called "Calime;" few know her real name. Alasse spends a LOT of time with her aunt Losillewen (practically raised by her), and can be very secretive. Alasse is sometimes called "Arwen's Heir," for reasons she does not yet know. (She will become the wielder of "Arwen's light," and will eventually wind up choosing her elven heritage rather than her human heritage.)

ic: I never received news of the council until my mother came. I was in an inn at the time (in disguise as usual), and very surprised indeed when my mother walked through the door. I walked over to her side.

"Is something wrong?" I whispered to her.

"Alasse. There is a council to be held today in Minashk. You should be there."

Before I could ask her why, she was gone again. Such an odd day this was becoming! Yet I would do as my mother had asked.

I went to the stables and got Ellaire, my chestnut mare. Then I mounted her and rode for Minashk, still puzzling over my mother's words.

ic: "Well tis nice that of what the few of you stated that you were here to save Lorien, homeland to some. Well if you have not already guessed my name is N- i mean Glistenfae that's right, Glistenfae and i'm here to save my home land like i said in my letter! Now what is all this none sense?" I asked staring at the dark hooded man. "Nearly let it slip! stupid self! How could you have?! Stupid stupid self," I thought to myself, how could i be such an idiot?

At the edge of Minashk I paused. I could hear voices. I rode cautiously towards them, not certain that they were the voices of those in the council. I got close enough to hear where the voices were coming from, then jumped off of Ellaire and walked out into the open.

"And we are interested in why you are here. Why should a man want to help elves restore their homeland?" Losillewen then heard footsteps, slowly; ever so slowly she backed into the shadows. She knew that it would be easier to disappear, and find out who was coming, rather then just waiting here, but somehow she also knew that this newcomer was a friend, not foe. When the person came out she almost gasped in amazement, and though she knew her, she still remained in the shadows. She unsheathed her dagger, replaced her hood, and walked forward. This had to be done correctly, or all too easily they could find out who she really was, and she did not want that to happen. She knew much about this newcomer, and now, more then ever she was hoping that she would not recognize her. “Who are you, and what is your business here?” she asked slowly, eyeing the newcomer.

As Losillewen came walking out to meet Alasse, the half elf's eyes widened in surprise. Alasse knew Losillewen recognized her, and was almost certain Losillewen knew that Alasse had recognized her. But the astonished look in Alasse's eyes lasted only an instant, and all signs that she'd ever recognized Losillewen vanished.

"I am called Calime. I was told to come to the council in Minashk today, and..." then Alasse saw who Losillewen was with, and gasped.

My brother?! Alasse erased the thought from her mind before Losillewen could read it, something she had become good at, although Alasse had never been able to conceal thoughts when she'd done something she shouldn't have! She had tried that often as a child.

Then Alasse put up a sort of shield in her mind, so that her thoughts could not be easily read. Losillewen could penetrate that shield if she wanted to, but the elf respected Alasse's privacy, and didn't try to get past her "shield."

ic: The elf called herself Losillewen and accepted me at once after my brief description. Yet as I moved towards the other elf the smell strange creature jumped down from the grasp of the elf and was caught again by a man named Aralyn I gasped and covered my face quickly this was the man who I ran into this morning. I did not wish for him to know what my business was with these elves. The other elf took her dagger out threatengling but seemed unsure of her motion and the deed she was thinking of doing. But my attention was taken away from the stranger and was focused now on another visiter in the woods who had just stopped dead in her tracks. I signaled to Losillewen and pointed to the new visiter and the strange man looked over to and looked slightly shocked at the figure.

ooc: for future reference, please do not god mod me. if you really have to then you may do so, but my character is extremely cautious, and does not just accept people after a brief discription. ;) I hope you understand. I will post IC when I get back, gotta go for a bit now. :)

"ack! Who, what?! Are you all that slow?! Really now! Your all fairly late, can you not arrive here on time, like so few others did! I mean come on this is my home land, and probably to some of you it is your home land too! Do you not care?!" I said and then swiftly turned and walked away in a huff. "Call me when your ready to face the matter at hand!" I screamed angrily. I walked further and further away so i could no longer hear their voices and slumped down against a great tree, that i was proud to say was the very first tree i had planted. I smilied with glee as i sat down and began to ponder what to do, i fingered at my sword, such a sword i was not willing to loose, nor would anyone. I sighed heavily and closed my eyes and began to think.

ic: I looked at the screaming elf with surprise. My eyes I thought must have widened about three times their size.
"For someone who wishese for help you are not giving them the respect they dersevere for even coming." I said to Losillewen who had settled herself on a tree and smilled.
"Well if they realy wanted to save Lothlorien they would come a bit earlier. We are human now we are'nt going to live for as lonf as we use to."
Well some of these people have not recieved your inventation and just happen to stumbnle in on you plan." I cried back in anger. I huffed then continued.
"Plus you are the one who is starting the meeting. So how are we going to rebuild such an ancient land? And if it was taken over by orcs then how are we going to fight them of with such a rather small but skilled group?" I added quickly.

Ic: "tis not that hard! I've fought many battles, this will prove excidengily difficult but tis not impossible! If you came here just to yell at me, and to threaten me with your words, you can leave! I would much rather fight a battle by myself and loose than to have an argument with such, such argumentive elves about non-sense! All i tried to do was rebuild my homeland with help, help which i should never have asked for, what a fuss!" I yelped. I closed my eyes once again and went deeper into thought.

So lets get going with the meeting. If the rest of the elves turn up late then we can just fill them in on our plans." I said.
"I have never been anywere further than GOndor. But I can fight. I learned my bow and knife(sp) skills from my father Eol and his companions.

"fine, i shall come, but if they do not want to hold concil with me i SHALL go by myself!" I shot after a long time of thinking. up i got and i was off slowly walking back towards the group. I sat down at the table i had previously set up. "All that wish to join me in this concil will have a seat and will discuss this with me in peace, hopefully with no further interuptions, oh and what ever that thing is that your hanging on to, don't let it go!" I said pointing at the thing still hanging upside down.

I galloped Estel hard into the borders of Mirkwood. after many weeks away I was returning. On my way home a scout had hailed me and given me a letter. It requested my immedite presence in Minashk.

A terrible thing for Lorien. I thought. Being from Mirkwood it was closest to my heart but I did love Lorien where my aunt had lived before passing on.

When I arrived i quickly repacked a few things and headed out, my wolf Carn at my side. I had to leave Estel in Mirkwood. Silence was necessary.

I nodded aprovingly at Alasse. "Finally, someone that makes senes!" I laughed in as good of humor as one could. "Now let's see here since i have been yelling and mumbling i have forgotten mostly who's here," I said sheepishly. "I know there's Alasse, and myself but uh i've forgotten who you all are," I laughed again and looked down at my hands.

Losillewen looked at Alasse, it was indeed strange that she had told her real name, but hopefully it would turn out for the better.
"I am Losillewen, I received a letter when I was in the north, I came as soon as I could. Lorien was the home of my kin, and I did not like to see it forsaken," she looked steadily at the elf, her gaze inquiring and suspicious.


ooc: So sorry that I haven't posted, I have been extremely busy the past week. :(

ic: I looked around as everyone introduced themselves and told of how they recieves their letters. Some like myself did not recieve the letter but wished to help any way. I gave greetings to those around me and sat down at the table were we were to discuss our plans of reconstruction and battle. I watched as everyone took a seat and saw that there were still seats to be filled (its a big table)
"Is this all who will be helping?" I asked An elf next to me called Losillewen.
"Plenty of elves are still yet to come late as all elves have been these days." She replied with uncertainty(sp) of who was still to come. I sat back and watched as the meeting began.

ic: "Well, i am glad you have come to help, even though it is few. But a few can do a lot i suppose. This is a dangerous thing to do, are you all sure you wish to continue? For those that do i would like to start a plan of some sort some how. How shall we do this though? Shall we just barge in disorderly? No i should think not, we need some kind of plan, anyone have any ideas?" I sighed.

Losillewen looked coldly at this elf, strange indeed had become the elves of this age. "I lived in Lorien almost my whole life, no one could know their way around in it better then I, save maybe Galadriel. Yes, I can climb a tree silently," she said, her words very cold.

ic: "I am sorry But I have no knoledge of anywere around ME besides Moria and Beleriand." I said.
I looked around to see who raised their hands and who stayed as still as I to the question.
"I do need to make a bow." I said.
"For I cannot fight in a tree using my sword."

I glared at Losillewen. I didn't like her much, snotty little brat if you asked me but i wasn't about to make a huge deal out of it. "Liable excuse, at least you came here and didn't go straight to Lorien where they probably would have killed you in time," I laughed, "have a seat, and join us if you may." "Now i know what you mean about not being able to use your sword in a tree, i myself prefer my sword. Maybe we should have some of us in trees shooting arrows and the rest on the ground with swords?" I asked waiting for a reply from someone. "And has anyone figured out what that - that - that thing is yet? or how the heck it got here and why it's here?" I asked remembering the strange thing, it still seemed pretty pathetic to me.

ic: I have seen those creatures before. There called Gnomes and they are very fond of gardens and tunnels. But I have no idea how this one got into your bag.

Or i may just have you killed or set loose, depends what we fancy!" I said cruely at it hoping maybe it would co-operate better if it knew i was willing to kill it if it didn't tell me. occ: i used it too much there, ah well.

When the small creature didn't answer, Glistenfae raised her sword over it. "I asked you your name, and what other bussiness you have here!" She cried. I, who was watching from the trees, jumped down, and landed softly on the ground. Glistenfae looked on at me startled. "Who are you?" She asked lowering her weapon. "We'll discuss that later, I'm here to help, that's all you need to know." I said walking towards her, and the gnome. "Don't harm it, for gnomes are rather tricky creatures. You see you must befriend him first, and then he shall talk." I pulled out a small yellowish fruit, and gave it to the creature. He ate it in one smoot bite, and he put out his hand for more. Glistenfae glarred at me. "Why did you do that? Now he'll be of no use to us, he'll think we're friends with him." "And why not? Did you not just hear what I said? If you befriend him, he'll tell us all we need to know, watch." I placed my gaze upon the gnome, and said, "Tell us your name little one." "Name is Bern." He muttered. I patted his head gently, and turned back to face glistenfae.

ic: As Glistenfae was about to get her nerves lost in a frenzy of a river of her lost patience a creature jumped lightly to the ground from the tree next to us. It was a young looking elf whos(sp) eyes flashed and hair glowed. She was an elf from Lorien it seemed to me but then again my knoledge on elves was a dim flame.
The elf walked over to Glistenfea and told her that the gnome would talk if shown kindness. She took a yellow fruit from her pack and gave it to the creature. After that it told her his name and she smilled at Glistenfea who seemed amazed.
"Who are you?" I asked before anyone else.
"And were do you come, and why?"

"My name," I began. "is Fiona. I come from far away, across the sea. I wanted to help rebuild Lothlorien in all it's beauty and grace. If that is alright with everyone." I paused to gaze at the others.

I felt strange, as if every single person in that entire room was watching me...staring at me. But finally someone spoke up.

ic: "You were one of the elves who recieves the letter?" I asked since no one else spoke.
"You must be from Valinar. My father has spoken of them and did not show great love for their kind thoughnhe could be wrong." I continued then looked over at Glistenfea.

"No, I am afraid I did not recieve a letter, nor am I from Valinar, I once belonged to the land of Rivendell if you must know, but since the ring was destoryed my family and I moved across the sea. I came back exactly two years ago in search of my friend Clara, when I came upon an elf singing of how Lothlorien was to be rebuilt, so I came here, and found all of you, sitting about with the gnome." I said. The elvish girl that had asked me these question became silent. "Now will you answer a question from me? Is it agreed the I shall come, or do I now take my leave?" Glistenfae peered at everyone there. "Well then what is it?" I asked.

"When all help fades, someone seems to appear," I laughed. "You amaze me Fiona, you have some great knowledge of things that i have never seen in all my years. I ask of you to stay if you will, but now i believe we need to get back to business." I smiled a little but i didn't let it last long. I sat down again and waited for someone to say something.

"I am afraid I need to be updated for this bussiness, if you don't mind." I said sitting down next to Glistenfae.

"Oh, right, i figured you would have heard up in that tree. Well to save Lorien some of us wanted to shoot arrows from the trees, hoping that they can climb quietly, but some of us like myself do not like to use the bow or have one in some cases and we would like to fight a ground battle, but i was thinking about using both tactics what do you think?" I said looking around.

"I agree with your idea, I would be in the trees, for I am very talented with a bow, and not so much with a sword, even though I do have a blade. I shall see to the tree warriors if that would be okay. But please do tell me what are we going to do with this small gnome, he seems to be of no harm, why not let him go?" Glistenfae peered at me quietly. "I shall think about it, and give you an answer after this meeting is over." She said. I shook my head in agreement.

"Right then, does everyone else agree?" Glistenfae asked. I stood up, and smiled down at her. "Yes, I agree. Ellemir?" The young elf girl looked at me startled. "How do you know my name?" She asked. I paused before answering, "I heard one of the other's say it before, it was pretty much all I could catch out of the conversation because I was so high up." I pointed to a high branch in the willow tree, and turned back to face her. The small gnome grumbled something at my feet. "Quiet Bern." I said kindly as not to lose it's trust.

"Yes then it is settled those of you that wish to shoot from the trees shall go with Fiona and those that wish to fight on the ground with their swords shall come with me. As soon as the groups are organized we'll decide when to strike and how." I said and let everyone decide where they wanted to be. I took Fiona aside from the group and said, "This gnome as you have said may be harmless but i do not know, how do we know that it won't go and warn the orcs and such? I do not trust it, i say we either tie it up and leave it until we return if we return that is or we let it come with us or i shall have a friend of mine pick it up and take it away, what shall we do?"

"Why not let me keep an eye on him. I'll make sure he doesn't get away, and you never know, he may prove to be of some use in time." I whispered to Glistenfae. She glanced sidelongingly at me.

ic: With the help of our new Comapnion Fiona we had decided to split up into two groups of fighting possesions. With my fathers sword I decided to fight on the ground.

I stared at Fiona as she came in, but she seemed not to see me. I walked away from the group for a moment, to collect my thoughts. I was not happy to see my half-sister. Fiona and I had met once before, and had taken an instant dislike to each other. I used to think that was because I was so close to my mother even though I'm only half-elven.

Yet as I looked back on my last conversation with my half-sister, I didn't think that was the reason. Maybe our personalities clashed. Perhaps it was only because I was very young then, as Fiona was young for an elf, and we'd get along better today.

I hope I'm right. If it WAS jealousy, what will she think of me now that I'm the wielder of Arwen's light?

I walked back over to the group in time to hear Fiona talking to the gnome. He was my brother's messenger. I knew very little about him, but I did know he hadn't told Fiona his true name. At this, I laughed silently to myself, but didn't tell them what the gnome's name was. I wouldn't be surprised if Aralyn told him to give another name.

So, now even my brother's messenger needs a false name?!

Losillewen decided to split us up into two groups, one to fight in the trees, and the other on the ground. I've learned how to fight with bow and arrow, but I'm not a good archer, at least not by elven standards. But as for swordfighting, that's something I've done ever since I was big enough to hold the lightest of swords.

ooc: I do have a reason for saying the gnome didn't give his real name -- look closely and you'll see that Zavron gave out his name earlier.

ooc: hope no one minds but I want to get to the fight and rebuild our beloved home.

ic: The company sat by the fire watching the fire glow in the darkness of the forest. Owls could be heard prowling the forest for food. I listend to the stories my new company had to tell and decided not to tell my story for my father was not very beloved and I had hardly any adventures in my life worth telling.
I watched as people started to drift off to sleep and get rest for their work ahead. I rested against a tree using my blankett for a pillow since it was a warm night. I closed my eyes and dreamed of my father showing me how to use a sword. I smiled at his memory.
My eyes opend to the rising sun and two company memebers awake and packing. I rose from the ground and packed my things up and saddled my horse.

I stood by the fire and listened to everyone's story. I was glad no one had asked my story but then again i had made sure no one really saw me by the fire. After feeling satsified that i had learnt a bit about everyone i stepped away from the fire and pulled out my sword. It glinted in the light. I ran my fingers over the blade feeling the elvish inscriptions on it. "All my enemies have fallen from this blade do not mislead me now," I whispered in elvish. I slid it back into it's sheath. I walked back to the fire. "The hunt shall be up by tomorrow let us go!"

ic: WE stared off on our journey taking it a slow pace for the humans and the gnome who got tired of being held in a bag grumbeling about knoking into thiegh(sp) bone a little to much.
I laughed as I led my horse on the tree shadded trail. it was beautiful morning and I could see sparks of yellow flowers flaring in a field we passed by. I laughed to myself and we made our way to Lorien.

It was a beautiful day as we set off to Lorien, I rode along side of Ellemir, and everyonce and a while she would give me a playful stare as if laughing fondly to herself.
I peered over to Glistenfae, and was surprised to see her walking far back behind us, as if watching our every move together.
"Hey! Glistenfae!" I called back. Her head shot up, and she gave me a solumn smile. Ellemir paused and looked back at her too. "Whoa boy!" I said to my horse Thirn, who neighed in disapproval to my stop. "Ellemir, watch Thirn for a moment, would you?" Ellemir nodded, and grabbed his reins. I shook my head for a thank you, and ran off towards Glistenfae.

"Hey, Lovely day isn't it, ah how i'd love to be frolicking through this gracious wood right now but now i walk a troublesome path that may lead to my death," I said quietly under my breath as i wandered slowly behind, when i looked up i noticed that the company had noticed me falling behind and had stopped so i smiled and kept walking lesiurly.

Glistenfae seemed alright, but yet, there was something off with her. "Hello, is everything okay?" I asked. She shook her head, yes, and smiled again. Something was up.
"No really, what's bothering you?" She sighed, and looked away. "Nothing...nothing at all. It's just maybe this wasn't such a good idea, I mean you are risking all of your lives, you know it, and yet you are not afraid of dying." She laughed. I wanted to laugh, but decided it was not the best thing to do right then.
"That is not the total truth, yes, we do know we are risking our lives, but yes, we are afraid of dying. Every single one of us. And I suppose, maybe, you are too?"

I rode up to the chattering elves and added
"My only fear is pain but not death itself . For death is only a mystery of what will ahppen next.
How long to you think it will take untill we arrive in Lorien?" I asked Glistenfae.

"Well, when i was in a hurry when i first found out it took me half a day so i pressume between all the breaks and what not it'll take us two days?" I responded.

ic: Oh, thankyou." I responded with a slight smile of the short trip.
"If days stay like this then it shall be not quite bad."

Ooc; shall we speed things up and arrive at Lorien or outside of Lorien so we can plane our attack?
