Don't you agree with me? I mean, seriously. Hehe. Maybe PJ wanted to bring out the true Elf of that character. IIRC, Legolas didn't have alot to say in the books either. As a matteroffact, most Elves didn't talk much. It was a trait of wisdom for that race.

oh my god what a crock of rubbish he doesnt get as many lines as say Aragorn or Gandalf because he is not a main carachter how bout i have a whinge that Gimli got barely any screentime fighting to start off with then in the extended edition at amon hen they had everyone fighting more except gimli he went missing for about 10 minutes...
and although they gave gimli a bit more at helms deep how crap was the warg fight they put gimli under a warg for the entire fight and his one chance of glory, "Bring your pretty face to my axe", was stolen by legolas... who wouldnt have preferred to see gimli hack at the wargs head rather than a little arrow from legolas from about 2 meters

I find it funny that all of Legolas's lines make him sound like 'Captain Obvious'. Some of the things he says are pretty simple and so blatantly obvious, I just feel like going "DUH!" :p

Legolas should be a main character! He's cool enough to be one! And besides, I don't really care about Gimli... no offense to anyone who does, but if you're going to say Legolas isn't a main character, it's not like Gimli is! And I take no joy in watching Gimli whack people's heads off. I like it when Legolas shoots them. It shows off his archery skills. :D ~~F. G.

I started liking Orlando after TTT.....about a week after I saw it. So dont say that again!!! actually i noticed that before. Not one character in the movie has a whole lot of lines because this movie doesn't have one main character really. they divide the lines up between everyone. it would be a pretty bad movie if Legolas ran around stating the obvious all the time......

OHHHHH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!! YOU SAY CRAP LIKE THAT AND ARE OFFENDED WHEN PEOPLE ASK WEATHER YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE FANGIRLS!!!!!!!!! Legolas has showed off his Bow skills time and again and i love it but i would also love to see Gimli pull a few awesome moves with his axe... as much as i loved Orlando Bloom as Legolas i dont think anyone will say that he has anything on John Rhys-davies as far as acting goes...
i never said Gimli is a main carachter and he isnt potrayed in the movie as one... i absolutely hated how they stuffed Gimli around at the start of the TT when they had him lagging about sooking while legolas just kept on running...
as for legolas's archery skills they didnt do him to well when that Bazurka went charging in with the torch to bring down the wall (im sure gimlis throwing axe would have brought him down had gandalf not stuffed it)
