A quote from my new encyclopedia on LotR that I got for christmas!!:D :D :D
Dumbledors- In the playful Hobbit poem "Errantry" a part tells of a ferocious race of winged insects. They are named Dumbledors but nothing more is told of their origin and history.
Do you think she knew this?

I very highly doubt it :). I'm sure it was coincidence.

I presume a character from HP is named Dumbledor? I don't read those books ;) Anyway, I would guess that she heard the name, and it was in the back of her head, from whence she drew it out when looking for a name for whatever character.
