Nice pic.......always Imagined the eyes to be different tho' sort of "deeper" but he does look sufficiently tree-ish.

Can't wait to see how the Ents walk:) (hope they don't frog-march like in that horrific cartoon).

Found this lil tidbit as well about the ents. All of this stuff has been found on onering.net

It is now confirmed that Ents will in fact play a role in the movies, and will be created fully by WETA's digital effects team. According to TheOneRing.net spy Galadriel, Ents will "look more tree-like than human-being-like but somewhat transform from tree into walking being." In Jackson's original interview with Ain't It Cool News, he stated that the films would contain scenes of the Ents storming Isengard. In addition, John Rhys-Davies, who portrays Gimli in the films, will also provide the voice of Treebeard.

Cool pic!!!! Saw something very cool today in relation to Ents- a moving, talking Treebeard!!!!! It was so funny and kept me entertained in my break from work!!! So glad they're going to be pretty prominent in the movie. Mx

Can't wait to see how the Ents walk:) (hope they don't frog-march like in that horrific cartoon). Judging by the few steps you see Treebeard take in the second TTT trailer, it looks like it's one of the odd things PJ stayed true to in the film.
Toes first, grabbing / securing, then the rest of the foot comes down etc.
As for frog-marching, well, your options are fairly limited when your legs don't really bend :)

Yeah I saw that picture too in my TTT visual guide thing. I love the picture, he looks exactly like I imagined, and I had my doubts that he would come even close, because it seems like something like that would be hard to do...
