Lonely Mountain

Ok this is my first try for an RPG so I won't be surprised if it totally fails.
Lonely Mountain has been takin' over by evil. The evil is moving closer and closer to Mirkwood. I do not know what the evil is yet, you can decide when you join and tell me or it can be a mystery to all of our characters until we meet the evil. The starting place is the Prancing Pony because it's a great spot to start.

Race: Elf
Bio: Loves to smith and cares for his home, Mirkwood. He travels much though.
Weapons:A long black sword, a bow with a mithril set part and a strand of his hair for the string. A large gold quiver filled with arrows.

Wepons: Bow and arrows she makes herself, and a blade of Mirthil she keeps at her side.
Personality and tradmark remark: Doesnt like strangers. If she doesn't know you, she wont trust you. "Never Trust A Wizard"

height: VERY tall for a Elf; about 6'7.
Appearence: always wears a black or white long flowing gown; on top of which she wears a black or white cloak. she wears one necklace; long silver chain on the end of which is a Azure jewel.
Weapons: Sword, Bow, azure colored Staff.
Horse: Namarie.
item(s): Nenya and a necklace; necklace has a azure colored stone, and gives her great power.
speciality: Telepathy; can turn invisible when she wants to.
age: She came over the seas with Galadriel; is somewhat younger than Galadriel.

Ok, I'm going to start it now because I thought of something.
IC: Biredon sat in the corner listening closely to the tales being told. He was smithing a new sword. He saw the most beautiful elf he had ever seen, sitting in the opposite corner. he motioned her over to talk to. He thought he knew her name but not all of it. he just knew that her last name was Greenleaf.

I be a Drow!

here is a description of a drow:

Drow elves, like their surface dwelling cousins, are very magical in their nature. The difference between the two lay in the fact that Drow elves left the surface world for a subterranean existence. Drow tend to dabble more in the "dark" arts of magic, and are evil in their nature. Some Drow however are outcasts, and have decided to venture out to the surface.

Drow elves are extremely good spellcasters, and are resistant to magic as well. They are a lot weaker than humans physically, but compensate with a greater intelligence. Drow are not as hardy as most races, but are more dexterous than most as well.

Drow have developed the ability to see in the dark, to sneak up on their foes, and can hide from them equally well. Drow cannot stand direct sunlight, and feel excruciating pain when sunlight hits their skin. During this time they cannot heal any damage they have sustained or recharge their magical energies.

Facial features: Blackish purplish skin, Sharp teeth, Dark purple eyes.
Height: Tall,
Appearance: thin, wears a short Blue gown and carries a dark blue staff,
Weapons: A lightning axe strapped to back and a casting staff, a necklaxce with a turqouise stone on the end wrapped in metal wire.
Personality: Evil in nature, consorts with dragons giants and other evil creatures of the world, despises the sunlight and loves the dark and shadows. Isn't all Bad Has a good side that shows every so often, Does not kill unless neccesary.
Racial Abilites: Infravision, Sneak, Hide, NoSun, Invisibility.

Infravision: Gives me a six'th sense, gives me the ability to know what's going to happen next, makes you allways one step infront of everybody else. Happens suddenly Without Warning. Also allows me to see in Dark perfectly. Also It allows me to see through things.

ic: It was dark, I could now go out. I wandered from my cave and down the mountain paths. I saw in the distance a small town and decided to head there. I walked in the Inn five minutes later. I squinted at the bright lights of the candles. soon my vision came back to normal and I headed towards the bar.

''Do you have any Perenial Blue Ale?'' I asked the Bartender.
''well...I might have some left in the cellar somewhere. It's been a long time before a Drow has visited this inn! let me tall ya!'' at that the barTender went down to the cellar to route out some of my ale. He returned a minute later With a dusty bottle of a blue looking liquid.

''There ya go! I hope you enjoy it! it's been in that cellar for quite some time!''

I searched for an empty table and soon found one and sat down. I Guzzled my drink down happily, I looked around the inn, Everybody was staringat me, but I didn't care I was used to that sort of behaviour around me before.

ooc: Hullo Silverstripe! are you a secret agent for Bmilder or something? you have been following me around everywhere I go!! :D

ic: It had just started to rain when I walked into a inn. I walked up to the bar and said to the bartender: "Good evening. do you have a room?" he nodded and I again said: "thank you. May I have a pint?" he again nodded. I sat down at a table and then, out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw a person staring at me. the bartender brought me my pint, and I asked him: "is that a Drow over there?" he nodded and left. I slowly siped at my pint, thinking why a drow would be here, of all places.

Hmmm...That elf looks familiar to me...I wonder why? I stood up and motioned for the newcomer to come sit at my table.

ooc: LOL. *smiles mysteriously* Actually I'm just joining all the RPGs that look fun, which is apparently what you're doing!:D

ic: I was sitting in the inn, saying nothing, simply watching to see who came in. There was no one that I really recognized, although I had met Lubyla Greenleaf before. Then Losillewen walked through the door! I smiled and walked over to meet her.

the drow stood up and motioned me over to his table. I walked over and sat down. "Good evening. What, May I ask, is your business here?" I then saw Alasse walking towards us, and I said: <Elen sila lumenn omentilvo, Alasse. Nae saian luume'.>

I telepathically greeted Losillewen and started to ask how life had been since I last saw her, then stopped abruptly as I saw who she was sitting with. <A Drow?!>

[zavron]

<please, there is no need to talk telepathically I can hear you anyway> I said telepathically.

[Ms. Undomial]

ooc: Silver- in case you were wondering, I said:"a star shall shine on the hour of our meeting, Alasse. It has been too long."

ic: <Yes, A Drow. it is strange isn't it? won't you sit down??> to The Drow: <it is what My friend and I always do.>

ic: At this point, I was confused enough that I merely nodded slightly and sat down, watching the Drow suspiciously, knowing I could not now ask Losillewen whether she knew him, and from where.

ooc: When you've asked for your status to be changed, How long does it take?

*to Alasse* <the answer to what you are thinking is 'no'. > Alasse smiled and knew that I had looked into her mind.

ooc: Ask SGH to change it; it once you give her what title you want, she changes it imeditly. Congradulations, btw.

I smiled, glad that Losillewen was able to see what I wanted to ask without my having to actually ask the question.

Her powers were a gift to her friends, and a terror to her enemies. I was learning to read minds, but it would take many, many years before I could do even a tenth of what Losillewen could.

<can i ask you what you Elves are doing around here?>

[Ms. Undomial]

I motioned to Alasse to be careful what she said, and then I said: <We do what we wish. What is your name? I am called Ilye. This is my friend Calime.>

[zavron]

<My name is zavron, as you know I'm a Drow. I live in the mountains> I said. I took another sip of my Ale. <I know my appearance is disturbing to you. I sense it, why?>

[Silverstripe]

I sighed softly. I often wished that I could have stayed the commoner Alasse, for I was freer before I had so many secrets to keep -- my true identity, in particular, as well as what I carried. I was grateful that I was at least able to confide in Losillewen and a few others.

[Ms. Undomial]

<Nay, not your appearence. > I then looked at him very strangely, for my mind was far away. I caught Alasse's hand in mine, and I held it for a while. She knew now that he was trustworthy. I then said: <as I said before My name is Ilye. it is one of my names, but my true name is Losillewen. I did not tell you before; for I did not trust you then. >

ooc: I've changed my description of Infravision, I advise you look at it.

ic: Suddenly my Infravision twitched, some one was behind me. I moved like lightning and span around and caught a man with a sword i got him by the neck, and forced hi to the floor. ''Don't even think about coming near me again!!'' I snarled and bared my sharp teeth. I picked up my staff and pinted it at the figure as he got up and dashed to the door.

<Hmmm...It seems people don't like me here! I am leaving now, I don't suppose you would like to come with me to my cave, I don't get many visitors, as you just saw from the reaction of that human, so Would you like to come>


ooc: Please come!!!

I looked at Alasse, noticing that she still didn't like the newcomer, but she was willing to learn more. <we will come.> I said and followed him out the door. I cast my cloak about me, and wisteled for Namarie. She came with Ellaire next to her. Alasse and I mounted our horses and started off.

ooc: Zavron- Empty your PM box.

I guided them up the mountain paths, until we reached the Entrance to my cave.

''Please come inside.''

They came in. My cave wasn't too largethere was a great Iron Door that swung acroos the cave entrance. I smelt the air. ''It's going to be very windy, I percieve a storm. I shall close the door, There might be any creature thats lurking around the mountain paths.'' I Lossilewen's horse and the other elf's horse into the cave and closed and bolted the door, i took the thick cloak that i had put on off and hung it on a peg on the wall. I took the cloak's from them and hung them up also.

My cave had a fairly large fire and several low dark candles to light it up. In the corner was my bed and there were numerous shelves stacked with books and cooking utensiles and Jars of food. I had A table and several comfortable bits of furniture. Upon the fire was a large pot that was bubbling merrily. It was certainly a cheerful place for a Drow, and all the other drows said so too, and that it wasn't right for a drow to be that cheerful.

I followed Zavron, still watching the Drow carefully. I was convinced that evil surrounded, or at least followed, him, although he himself could be trusted.

Something didn't seem right, and I wanted to know what it was. Besides, I trusted Losillewen to know what she was doing, even though I didn't quite trust Zavron.

ooc: I like the part about evil following him, that quite sums that up about my carachter, He si Good at heart, but Evil is in the nature of all Drow's.

I looked at Alasse; there was a faint glint about her, and I could tell that she was nervous. I then looked down at Nenya; it was very bright. Evil was very near.

The air suddenly grew cold, and I sensed that Losillewen was looking at Nenya.

<What is it?>

[Ms. Undomial]

<shh. evil is very near. can you not tell?> I motioned her to look at her light; it was also glowing.

[Silverstripe]

In horror I realized that the drow might be able to guess what was happening, or come too close to the truth. It might even be his fault that whatever evil that followed us was here now, yet he had not intended it, and I sensed that the evil would harm any one of us who stayed here.

<I know. We must leave this place, all of us.>

[Ms. Undomial]

<come, Quickly.>

ooc: we will continue when Zavron gets back.

[Lubyla]

From where I sat across the room, another elf motioned to me to come over. I thought I ould, for I did not have anyone to talk to, and was quite board.

"Hello, who are you?"

[zavron]

''Will you have supper, for it is nearly ready.'' Points toward the bubbling pot in the corner.

ooc: Got to go again for school I should be back for about 4:30pm after school.

[Duddun]

OOC: Sorry, I couldn't get on yesterday. And Im gonna be gone to school to.

I am Biredon, I roam a lot, and you may not know me.

[Ms. Undomial]

I looked at Alasse and said; "I am sorry, We have to go. " with that I stood up, got my cloak, and prepared to go out the door.

[zavron]

''Wait!! Please don't go will you not wish to spend the Night, For I fear you may not make it down the Mountain paths alive!!''

[Ms. Undomial]

"We must go," I said speaking for Alasse and my self, "we have to at least try the mountain paths, for we can stay here no longer." Nenya then began to glow very bright and at that moment Zavron turned around and saw it.

[zavron]

''Fine, I just don't want to pick up whats left of you after He's finished with you!!!!!!!!'' I shouted.

''When who's finished with us?'' She replied.
''Errr...Forget I said anything!! GO!! Before he comes it may not be too late!''

[Ms. Undomial]

with that Alasse and I mounted our horses and started down the path. suddenly a big monster-type-of-thing, came out of nowhere. I handed Alasse a very small vial and said; "drink it Alasse! quickly!" she did, and she turned invisable. I brought out my staff and soon was also invisable. "Asca Alasse!" we sprred our horses to a run down the mountain.

[zavron]

A huge explosion echoed through the air. And half the mountain was blown off.

[Ms. Undomial]

ooc: uh... What happened??

[zavron]

ooc: That's the cue for you and allase to come back and help me out!:)

[Ms. Undomial]

ooc: oh. ok.

ic: we heard a large explosion and stoped in our tracks, and looked around. "What in the name of Eru has happend?"

Alasse: "I don't know, but it looks like Zavron may be in trouble."

Losillewen: "you are probably right, as always. come, let us go!"

with that we traveled back up the mountain.

[zavron]

The creature attacked with fire, I had never seen it before, I used a certain difficult spell and banished the creature. Losi' and alasse came galloping around the corner.

''Something tells me I am no longer safe among these mountains. I shall lock my cave with magic and will stay at the Inn tonight. Please would you help me pack?'' I asked.

''Yes.'' Losi' replied.

soon I had packed all my valubles into a back, and slung it on my shoulder. ''I need to pick up xave.'' I said as I went to the back of my cave and opened a conceled entrance.

''Who's xave?'' Alasse asked with a rather puzzled look upon her face.

''He is.'' I pointed to a corner where a small creature was lying. It had folded wings and looked rather squashed all over it was a very dark blackish purple and had extremely sharp looking teeth.

''What is it?'' Asked los'.
''He is a zagar, a creature that lives in the dark, the wings aren't very good, but are reliable. Hecan shroud himself in darkness. Zagar's are extremely tough and carry extremely heavy loads, and can go at quite a quick speed. He is my steed.''

''Oh!'' said losi' as if she expected somethin else.

the creature in the corner gave losi' a funny look and turned it's head away from her, I'm sure that if it could speak it would have said ''Huh, you're not so good yourself you know!''

Biredon then furthered his response before she could answer.May I ask what you are doing here in Bree?

[Lubyla]

I am here, to find a group who is going on an adventure, that I may travel with for some time, then part my own way.*I stood at the end of the table* What is your bussiness here?

[Duddun]

I am here to find a group to help me on an adventure to Mirkwood, evil is nearing it and we must stop it. (what a coincedince!)I said, not worrying about whether I trust them or not. You are welcome to come if you wish.
OOC: Please come!

[Lubyla]

Well...it has been long since I have gone there...but I suppose I could come.

[Duddun]

Thank you, we shall gather as many as we can. And leave tomorrow at noon. What room are you in?

I arrived at the tavern with my new friends, It was strange I had never had any friends before, I booked a room at the tavern, and went up and unpacked my things. Soon It was exactly like home. I came down to see my friends sat at a table with two others, one was smithing a sword. They motioned for me to come over.

[Duddun]

I stopped smithing my sword, and motioned him over because he was an elf I had not seen many of. He was a Drow and I did not see many of those but they are very powerful. He came along with his friends. I asked them Who are you?

[Ms. Undomial]

Zavron did not seem to be in the mood for talking, so I spoke up; "I am Losillewen, this is my friend Calime, and this is Zavron. Who are you?"

[Duddun]

I responded the same way as I had with Lubyla. I am Biredon, I roam a lot and you may not know me. I trusted other elves but I did not trust this Drow, he had not spoken to me. So I did not give more information.

[zavron]

''I say you smithing a sword, You're very good at it I must say! Here pass me the sword so I can have a look at it?''

[Duddun]

I did not like people wishing to see my sword so I gave him one that looked identical but with out powers or anything. This sword is just like it. I lied to him.

[zavron]

''You lied, this is a copy, Why do you not trust me? I only wish to help.''

ooc: Just give him the sword it will work out better for you.

[Duddun]

You did not tell me your name. I can not trust you if you do not give me your name, and why you are here.

OOC: I will give you the sword when you answer these. Truthfully.

[zavron]

ooc: losi's allready told your carchter my carachter's name.

[Duddun]

OOC: My mistake, but she did not tell of your business here.

[zavron]

''I am here because it is...I am sorry I cannot answer that question let us just say it is safer to be here than anywhere else right now.''

[Duddun]

See, that is where I cannot trust you, but you may see this sword if you promise not to wield it. I said a little worried.

[zavron]

''I assure you, I have no need of a sword, nor do I wish to wield it.'' I said simply.

''Ok, here.'' bire(whatever) Passed the sword to me. I put my hand over the sword and muttered an ancient incantation. ''Auntay seunt domus, rachar neyah slamon!'' The sword flashed with different colours. I handed back the sword to its maker. Then all of a sudden it melted into his hand, and dissloved into his skin. ''What!!! What have you done?!?!''

''wait! look!'' The melted sword came back out of his hand and flashed, it glowed with many colours all at once, It was designed anew. ''It is now an Element sword, you may summon water, wind, fire, earth, and Ice to aid you in battles.''

[Duddun]

OOC: Does it summon little water elememtals or just water?Thankyou! You have earned my trust. We could smith many powerful swords together. I said. Then i chose to see if they wished to go on my quest. Would you three like to accompany us on a quest to save the elves of Mirkwood.

[zavron]

ooc: Both.

''Hmmm...I am not keen on elves, and I really don't want to help anyone, But I will come.''

[Duddun]

OOC: Cool!
IC: Thankyou! We will leave tomorrow at noon. We must get more if we can. Maybe you will learn elves are not so bad. Also if you are with me elves will trust you. Do not worry.

[zavron]

''I cannot leave at noon, for i cannot walk in the sunlight.''

[Duddun]

We must make haste then! We shall leave tonight. Pack your stuff Zavron I shall stop in my hut and you may keep what you do not need there. I said. Knowing we could not wait till tomorrow night. So I chose we would leave tonight.

[zavron]

I repacked my stuff and headed out to meet the rest of the group in the stables. I Mounted xave and we headed off.

''The sooner we reach Mirkwood forest, The better!!!'' I said.
''Why?'' asked losi'.
''It's dark there!!''

[Duddun]

OOC: Lubyla you can fill in what you did on the trip the next time you post. Same with Silverstripe and Ms. Undomial.
IC: He is correct. We are in extreme neccesity. He can not stand light. We will ride through the mountains tonight and arrive at the edge of the Wood. I said pressing his steed, Joachim on. Zavron we will not make it far enough after we reach my hut. You shall go ahead and wait at the eaves. Stay hidden, do not harm any elves. We got to my hut and he dropped his stuff off...

[zavron]

I waited for my companions at the eaves. After a while it started to get boring. I left andwandered into the wood to find some Orcs to practice my fighting skills on.

[Duddun]

We rode hard, we crossed over the Mountains and reached the eaves by the end of the second day. We had run into a few goblins but m since I had added my magic to my sword it easily slay them.
We waited there for him to come. By another day he had not come and we were running low on supplies so I sent a ice elemental to find him and bring him to us...
The sword provided us water and fire to stay warm.

[Ms. Undomial]

ooc: Are we in Mirkwood now?

[Duddun]

OOC: Yup
IC: The Elemental came back saying he would be right here, after slaying the orc he was fighting.

[Ms. Undomial]

ooc: ok. btw Zavron, I am not so dumb; please don't make me say "why?" so often. What should happen? I have writers block.... my mind is blank...

[Duddun]

OOC: I think he does that so he can explain why on things.

[zavron]

I came back to the eaves where I found my friends around a fire.

''AARRGGH!! Damn Fires!! Arnon!!'' The fire darkened.

OOC: Thanks:D
IC: Were sorry, warn us when you come and we will put out the fire. I said. I thought we were safe here for the night. We will go in a little and stay there the night.

[Lubyla]

I was a bit...warry of going to Mirkwood, for I had not been there since-- I shuddered at the thought of my past. On Ithilsila, my silver horse, I rode on my own, debating weather or not to actually go into Mirkwood, or not.

[Duddun]

Do not fear Mirkwood, it can not hurt you if you are with me, the drow is going and elves mostly hate him. I said knowing her doubts.

[Lubyla]

I mean not to go to Mirkwood, for it-- well, I--nevermind

[Duddun]

Please tell me, we are not evil you can trust us

[Lubyla]

It is my past I fear, for as you know my full title...Princess Lubyla Greenleaf of the Stars. This shows I am from Mirkwood, but I dont live there. I have not been there since I was VERY young, only in my hundreds.

Just come, you are from here why do you not want to help us. I pleaded.

For reasons unknown to even Andodulin*I pointed to the bird*He knows all about my past, well...after I left Mirkwood anyway.

ooc: yeah, its just the way you said it threw me off. Ok, here I go:

I know many ways around Mirkwood, if you are to tell me where you are to go, I shall take one of those.

We are to hold the eaves on the otherside of the forest from the attacks. I said.

[Lubyla]

Alright, then I shall meet you there.

We came to the edge of the forest, and I only said one thing.

I must ask you, not to tell of your knowledge of me. If anyone is to ask, I am dead, and have been so for very long.

[Duddun]

I began to understand what she was worried about...And then I remembered! I remembered hearing some remark about how she had run away from home!
Alright, I shall not mention you at all... I then chose to mind message her the rest <why did you run away from home in the first place? Well Goodluck!>

I silently steared Ithilsila across the path, and back tracked a bit.

<Ok, Good luck.!> And the rest of us drove into Mirkwood.

OCC Hello everyone! Duddun asked me to join, so I will. Most of you know me, if not look in the GIANTS rpg.

ICI watched with wonder as the elves and the drow made their towards the glade that I had rested in. They were galloping full speed when they came into the glade. Seeing Asforoth, they stopped. Narya began to glow on my hand. <It is that Drow!> I thought. <yes, me!> a voice answered. It was the drow. I jumped down next to Asforoth. "Aaye, Melloni!" I greeted them. "Where are you headed?" I asked.

We are headed to the other side of the eaves I said.

Ah, so you are heading to battle! I am also of the same mind. I am Astarien of Imladris, may I join your company?>

[Duddun]

I stepped in quickly. <Be not hasty, for you know not my traveling paths. I, too, must stop in Mirkwood, at the Halls of King Thranduil. If you are headed the same way, then I would like to accompany you. If not, then I shall see you at the eaves of Mirkwood.>

<I shall travel with you to the gates but no farther for my business is secret. I will wish to speak to the King first if you do not mind for it is very pressing.>

[Dolenloteiel]

I bowed. <lead on!>

[Duddun]

<Ok> i then turned to Losi' and Alasse. <I believe you guys know the way?> And then waited for the answer.

[Ms. Undomial]

<yes, we know the way. > I nodded, and Alasse and I galloped away.

[Duddun]

<Let us go then!> I pressed on my horse Joachim and they followed.

[Dolenloteiel]

I followed, keeping wary of the Drow. I masked this feeling deep within, and I kept watch.

[Duddun]

It was not long before we all reached Mirkwood. I proceeded with the Drow to the king...

[zavron]

We proceeded towards the King, getting strange looks from the elves on either side of the halls of the king.

[Dolenloteiel]

I halted at the entrance to the hall, and dismounted. The doors closed as the others kept on. I waited in silence.

[Duddun]

"Hello, King! i have come to present this drow for your approval. He has come to help us against the creaturse." I said. Then my son stood up. "Welcome Father! She awaits you at home."
"Thankyou tell her: I love her and that I shall be there soon." I said hearing the news of my love. Then I turned back to the king. "Please, give me permission to proceed in the morning with this drow."

[Lubyla]

Perhaps I should go into Mirkwood, though, not as my self. Andodulin!! *I called to him and he came.* Please make haste, I need your cloak.

*Looks at her and turns into his elf form* Why do you wish my cloak?

I plan on going into Mirkwood. Not as my self though, as Galanduil, of Rivendell.

Would they not know it was you?

It has been so long since they have seen me, that I daresay if I told them who I was, they would not know me. Now come, please give me your cloak.

You shall be caught again.

[Duddun]

The king allowed the drow and I told him that he now had rights to move about without being killed. I told him to meet me on the other side with Losillewen. For I had some business to do. I then went off to my home in Mirkwood.

[Lubyla]

*Taking Andodulin's cloak, I silently crept into Mirkwood, leaving Andodulin and Ithilsila to meet me out of Mirkwood, for I know I would have been caught with them.*

[Dolenloteiel]

The drow emerged, but the elf didn't. <Where is the elf?> I asked. The drow told me he had bid him meet him at the eaves. So I entered. <Aaye, King Thranduil!> I called when I saw him. <Essenya Astarien, melda Rivendell, ar Elrond, Attanya>

[Duddun]

At home I met up with my love, Salangala, she saw me and said "Aaye Biredon! My heart has grieved since you left, Welcome back! Tell me the tale of your trip!"
I sat there telling the tale and she seemed very interested but I was tired of telling it so I asked how my son had been. She said he wished he could be helping me and she strongly suggested that I let him so I did and I left to find Aranince and Astarien.

[zavron]

I wandered through the great halls of the King. But all was too bright and I sought for a little shadow and peace I sought for the library. I found it and uncovered some old books and began to read.

[Dolenloteiel]

I have come to fulfill my duty. I come in the place of my Father, to serve and to obey you, and to aid our people. I come with Narya, and I bring my courage. I will depart to the battle front. Namarie

[zavron]

I read a long time in the dark. I then left taking some scrolls that interested and intrigued me greatly. They were in another language. It read Ar an uva tuluva ar amano asta remonim, salm de uruk-dah . I studied long and suddenly translated it. It now read And he shall come forth and take back what was once his, the one evil shadow. I rushed out to find someone to tell of this horrible news. That must have been the thing that was threatening the Lonely Mountain and that had attacked me

I called Asforoth, and mounted, riding to the other side of the forest.

[Lubyla]

As I rode through Mirkwood, hood over my eyes, I recieved strange looks from everyone, as wispers followed me.

[Duddun]

I made haste and left the city fast headed for our meeting point. My horse \joachim bore me as fast as he could and we were there in no time.
OOC: Please lets get there so it can get interesting!

[Dolenloteiel]

I rode and reached the spot where the other elf sat.

[Duddun]

I was training Aranince in his sword skills, while I worked on my healing skills on a little rabbit I had found laying sick. When astarien arrived.

[Dolenloteiel]

OCC zavron, I'll PM you a list of sites.

ICI entered the glade to find Biredon healing a rabbit. Another elf stood close by, training his weaponry skills. I dismounted next to the elf who was healing the rabbit. "Aaye Biredon! Elen sila lumenna omentielvo."

[Duddun]

"Aaye!" I said back without looking up. "Aranince will answer any questions you have. Please keep it low though, it is neccesary I succeed now, for this is no ordinary rabbit"

[zavron]

I took the scrolls and headed out. I headed towards the King.

''My lord, I have urgent news. I found and translated these scrolls.'' I passed the scrolls to the King. The coulor in the Kings face drained out.

''You see now what shadow passes over Mirkwood, He is coming and he will take what was his if we do not stop him.'' Suddenly The whole of the elf city was plunged into a deep black all plants and animals died, and the river that flowed through the city dried and from it spewed Lava and a Thick ooze spread across the city streets.

The King stood forth and anounced that a company must gather.

''We must find the heart of this thing and destroy it before it destroys us!'' Shouted the King. ''Drow, you must go on this company and spread the news that all who wish to join the company must come to me.''

Later the company assembled of them was Astarian, aranince, biredon, Alasse, Losilewen and a hooded figure.

[Dolenloteiel]

A messenger entered the glade. "Come, you are needed!" And the messenger left. I called Asforoth, and I rode hard towards the City in the depths of Mirkwood. The city was ruined, it's beauty had died. I did not understand why we were there, but I waited patiently.

[Duddun]

I heard the messenger too, and knew it was VERY urgent. I wouldn't let Aranince ride his horse, he wouldn't get there in time, so I let him jump on the back of mine, Joachim. We got there soon and I asked the King what was going on. Next to him in one of his counseling chairs sat the Drow.

[Lubyla]

While running, passing by that is, I ran into the rest of the company I had started with, though they did not recagnise me.

[Duddun]

I grabbed the hilt of my sword seeing this hooded figure, 'Who are you' I demanded.

[Lubyla]

*I laughed a bit, and disguised my voice.* I am but a memory here, thought to be dead. Come, I mean you no harm, for you know who I am.

[Duddun]

I recognised who it was, but wasn't gonna give it away.
"Good than come now, we are having a counsel with the king." I then offered her another cloak to disguise it.

[Lubyla]

I--I cant see the king. It would be the death of us all.

[Silverstripe]

I glanced at the hooded figure. I didn't recognize her, and obviously, she didn't WANT to be recognized. Rather like me, except that I didn't need to hide under a cloak. Of those gathered here, only Losillewen knew who I was.

[Lubyla]

*I looked at the one who stared* Is there something the matter?

[Silverstripe]

"No, nothing is wrong. What is your name?" I knew she wouldn't give her real name, just as I would not give mine, until I trusted her.

[Lubyla]

Hum...my name. You may call me Galanduial, I am but on a quest to help you.

[Silverstripe]

I gazed intently at the elf, and knew that she was trustworthy. I would ask the elf her true name in time, but not yet. "And you may call me Calime, Galanduial."

[Duddun]

'Wait outside here and meet us here, if you cannot come, Galanduil.' I then mind messaged her <Be careful, we may have to bring more than just the ones you have met so far.>

[Lubyla]

*I smiled. As long as no one knew I was here...well, Lubyla was here, alive and well, I would be fine.*

[Silverstripe]

The company, minus Galanduil, followed Zavron to see the king. But halfway there, I stopped, and said "Perhaps I should also remain outside." It was in Mirkwood, oddly enough, that I was most likely to be recognized, and since evil surrounded the city, the very mention of my true identity could bring disaster upon us.

[Duddun]

'Fine then! The 3 of us will go and try and say that 3 of us can take down the evil! That will be real easy!' Aranince said blowing up.

'Excuse him, he is a little worried I can't convince my father. But I can.' We all walked in and I demanded counsel with my father.

[Silverstripe]

Before the others walked away, I said, <Biredon. Tell the king...and ONLY him...that Calime is here, but cannot come to see him, though I wish to greatly and will go with the company. He will know why, though he won't explain.> I then walked back outside. "Hello, Galanduil. It appears we may be in similar situations." I laughed a little.

[Duddun]

<I shall do as you ask. If you say my father will understand.>

[Lubyla]

Similar it is not, for I have not been here for MANY a years. And it is for the reason that haunts me still.

[Silverstripe]

<Similar in that we both remain outside because we wish not to be recognized.> I said. "Not similar in all ways, of course." Although I trusted the elf, I wasn't certain that I liked her.

[Lubyla]

Yes, not in most ways.*at that point a bird with a black underbelly, and white wings flew over to me.*

[Silverstripe]

Again I searched her mind, and because she did not expect it, I found out who she was. I laughed. A little more similar than she knew... "You really don't trust me, do you? I can understand being wary, but remember, too much caution can kill as surely as not enough caution can."

[Lubyla]

*gives her a deadly look* Well,*to the bird* Aren't you,*laughs a bit* stunning. As soon as we are out of Mirkwood, we shall switch cloaks again, and you can go back to being youself.

[Duddun]

We walked into the king and then talked briefly then we left. I lingered a moment and whispered to him: 'Calime is to help also, do not mention this to anyone.' Then I continued out and we met up with Lubyla and calime.

[Lubyla]

You didn't tell the king of my precenc did you?*I looked at him worridly*

[Silverstripe]

I smiled gently. I was guilty of the same fault she was, or I probably would have told her my true name before then, as soon as I had learned I could trust her. "Why do you think I chose to stay outside?" Before she could answer, the others returned.

[Duddun]

I knew them both well enough to know why for both of them, but I would not spoil the fun. 'No I did not tell of your presence.'

[Lubyla]

<I see you dont trust me very much. I shall explain who I am, when we are out of Mirkwood>

[Duddun]

'Well then let us get out of Mirkwood!' With that I started to gallop away.

[Lubyla]

*I ran quickly after, since Ithilsila waited on the other side*

I nodded, leapt on Ellaire, then said to Biredon, <I know that you are aware of who I truly am. Thank you for not telling the others.>

[Duddun]

<I do not tell identities.> I then called upon another two horses from Mirkwood for Aranince and Lubyla.

[Lubyla]

*I looked hesitantly at the horse* I shall be fine.I can run quite fast.

[Duddun]

<If you wish?>I said and sped off.
I leapt on the horse and followed my father.

[Lubyla]

*I ran through, keeping the pace with the others on horses*

[Silverstripe]

Lubyla was running at a very impressive speed. Ellaire is a swift horse, yet Lubyla was running alongside her. I had decided that if she told me what I already knew, I would tell her who I was ... or at least my true name.

ooc:Hehem what may I say about me!! You do not understand the message we still have yet to gather and I must tell you of the Evil Som please would you ALL come back inside!

When we got there the rabbit I had been healing was up and about and thanked me greatly. I asked the rabbit in rabbit tounge: 'Will you join my quest to save Mirkwood, we could use some rabbits.' he accepted and brought some rabbits over to join.

[Lubyla]

*We came to a far point in the outskirts of Mirkwood. There, I removed my hood.I then remounted Ithilsila.*

*A girl on a cream coloured horse rides up to the company*

'Who are you?' i said in a bold voice.I mind messaged to Lubyla <Is this Andodulin?>

[Lubyla]

<Yes, this is Andodulin. He and I switched cloaks.> I am Princess Lubyla Greenleaf of the Stars.

I Ran fast through the forest with light-feet until I reached them.

''Come quickly all of you!!! You are needed!'' Then I turned and sped back to the city.

I commanded them to stay and jumped on Joachim and caught up. 'Why? We do not have time, I have gathered enough.'

ooc: Why are you gathering? We haven't even told you of the evil and where it is, and also you're leaving me behind!! Sort yourself out man!!!

"Hello, Lubyla. <My true name is Alasse. If that means anything to you, do not reveal it.>

OOC: It's better if we don't know what the evil is! Then it can overwhelm us or not overwhelm us. And you came, we just didn't mention it.

''Hey I'm the on he organised this Group!! The lord of Mirkwood wishes to give us all Gifts before we leave. Each suited to that person.'' We headed to the halls, and there on his thrown was the king he had many things around Him.

''Come forward Zavron!'' He commanded. ''What gift would thou choose?'' He asked.
''If I may my Lord, I need a sword, armor and a Horse, If My Lord Agrees.'' I bowed before him. A man brought forth many swords, Horses, and Armor.
''Choose.'' He said.
I walked over and walked among the stacks of swords. I picked up a particularly Old One. The Man spoke ''That is a mighty Fine sword. It is helcë, the Icestar, It is most known to Orcs and Goblins as FrostBite.'' I continued to the Armor. I chose a Black-Mithril saet of Armor. I put on The Black-Mithril Chain-Mail and shouder, arms and Leg armored pads on and placed the rest in My bag. I wore a Black Robe over it with a Hood. I walked to the Horses, Many fine beautiful animals, but One in particular caught my Eye. She was called ShadowStorm the oal of Shadowfax. She was as black as the Night and gleamed with a radiance.

I turned to The King.
''I have chosen My Gifts.'' I bowed and led ShadowStorm to tha back of the hall and waited, whilst the others got their Gifts.

ooc: You can choose your own Gifts.

[Dolenloteiel]

We went back to the hall, and I wanted to get away. "Astarien! Lady of Imladris! WHat would you ask?" I bowed slowly.

"Merely a blessing or something useful. I already have a weapon and a horse, lord." He smiled at my reply.

"I give you, then, a gift that was given me by your Father." He brought out a small silver chain, with a grey stone on it's end. "This, is a seeing crystal, given to me at the end of the Great War of the RIng. It enables you to see wherever you wish, and it's coloring can tell you when danger is afoot." He presented me with the stone and chain.

"Thank you, Lord." I stepped back, ready to depart.

[Duddun]

I rode in from business ordering my small set of troops and as got off my horse the king said "Aranince, my noble Captain, what do you desire?" I had not expected this so I told him: "I do not desire anything, but if you must give me a gift, then I wish you choose something for me of Usefulness."

"And what would that be?" I said walking in the room with Lubyla hidden in Andy's cloak. "If you allow father, May I choose his gift?" The king allowed me too and I walked up to Aranince and gave him a stone, it was a very powerful stone I had carried for a long time. It gave me much power, to heal, and stronger magic. I had also used it as my sharpening sword for weapons. "This I have carried long enough, now I give it to my son." then the king turned to me and said: "You have given a priceful gift to your son. What do You care for?" I did not know and said the same as my son.

OOC: Someone can choose my present from him. I have a good sword, and horse already.

[Lubyla]

*I walked along with the king and Biredon, hopeing not to be asked any questions. The king seemed not to notice me at first, though he kept glancing at me as we walked. I kept the hood over my eyes and it shadowed the rest of my face.*

[Duddun]

I was tempted to tell of Lubyla, but she soon gave me a scornful glance knowing of my thoughts and I turned back to Thranduil to recieve my gift...
OOC: Someone can choose, because I can't think of anything.

[zavron]

''Biredon, I will give you this!'' He withdrew a grey cloak. ''Where this, It is The cloak of Shadow, It allows you to shift into a shadow to avoid Unfriendly eyes! Wear it with Honour!'' Then He withdrew from his own cloak, a Ring. ''This is aklarel, The Diamond Ring of Wind, It is an ancient Ring. Keep It well! For it is one of the elven Rings which Sauron did not know of!'' He gave the ring to Him, and he put it on his Finger. ''It gives the power to command Wind! Use it well!'' Biredon Bowed and walked to join me at the back of the hall.

''I bid Lubyla Greenleaf Step forward, for I can easily Penetrate her disguise. Come you must have a Gift also.'' He asked.

[Duddun]

"She comes at my asking, she has promised to help Mirkwood. I beg you to be kind to her."

*I looked at him* Beg not of him, for this is not a battle you should wager in. I too must have a gift? Well then, I know exactally what it is I wish.

IC I waited while all the other members recieved their gifts. I was impatient to be off.

I talked to biredon.
''That ring is a kingly gift! I have one also. Helce the Quartz Ring of Ice.'' I said.

[Lubyla]

It is not really a gift, it is more claiming something of my past. I wish to go down to my old room, so gaurded now, and forgotten, and claim only a silver starshaped box. It is my only wish.

[zavron]

''You may do so!'' The King stood forth ''Who else needs yet to claim a gift?''
