How many knives does Legolas carry. I read that it was one but in the film it looks like he carries two.:confused: :confused:

The simple answer to your question is that it depended on the occasion. If the main course were roast or poultry, he would use a long broad blunt-ended knife. If it were fish, a slightly shorter slenderer beak-ended knife. Then of course there would be several more for bread, cheese, and different desserts.

As far as I know, he only carries one: the silver dagger he recieved in Lothlorien (I think he got it there; I'm not sure)

I know. Picky, picky. But, just to set the record straight, Legolas received a bow and quiver of arrows in Lothlorien, not a dagger.

Legolas has two knives to fight with in the movie and in the book I don't think it says anywhere that he has two or one fighting knives. But I don't think there's a difference. He can still kick butt with one as well as two. And (duh) he has knives for other things such as food and stuff. He got a Bow and Quiver full of arrows from Lothlorien.
