My husband put a new wallpaper on our computer this morning. It's Norma Desmond coming down the staircase for her "closeup" in Sunset boulevard. It is so cool, the play of light and dark (in black and white) is perfectly balanced and beautiful, and she is soooo creepy! What's on your wallpaper?

Funny you should mention that, because a few days ago my sisters and I were watching the LOTR and my sisters were talking about Viggo being in Psycho. Now, I saw only the end of it and so I nearly died when my sister said he was naked in it. Needless to say, I will be, some time in the future, be searching Google for shots of this so called scene. :D Actually, whenever I try to put LOTR wallpaper up (decent wallpaper :) ) my sister goes and changes it to Craig David wallpaper. :rolleyes:

It was like that here too before we got Dave. My sister never liked my fantasy-backgrounds. She claimed that they were 'too big' and kept making the computer slower and more prone to hang itself.:rolleyes: At least she knew better than to put Craig David on it. ;)

As a hobby, I make hi-res wallpapers by taking photographs, album covers, memorable shots from movies, and the like and editing them in Photoshop so they look like authentic paintings. Right now, I have a lush watercolor of Orthanc surrounded by Orcs taken from the last Two Towers trailer.

I'd post some of my work, but they are extremely large files. Sometime I'll put them all up on a website of sorts... I was working on doing that earlier this summer, but my web host went down.

My Wallpaper is "The Spring" from Final Fantasy X - it is really pretty.
Tidus and Yuna are in the bottom left corner and the rest of it is all blue. The water has refelections of the stars and there are ice crystals around the waters edge. There is a golden looking tree up the right hand side.
