I found Bad Taste and Braindead to be great fun. Those movies showed that Jackson can do much with little money when it comes to fx. Now he has a lot more money and computer techniques and all. Will he be able to pull this one ? I also found "Meet the feebles" great. That was also sick and twisted and nothing like any other puppet movie I have seen.

I´ve seen Heavenly Creatures and i didn´t like it: boring. I cannot remember it well (i tried to forget it inmediatly!), but i remeber ut had some minutes of an FX re-creation of an imaginary world: the paintings of one of the girls. I cannot remember why, but i didn´t like it. But that was a "little money movie", i hope he can do it better...

You people really should try to get a hold of any of those movies I mentioned. They will probably make you wonder what the hell is going on. I haven't seen Heavenly Creatures. That is some kind of drama right ? I think the special effects team (Weta) connected to Jackson made the special fx for Contact with Jodie Foster. I am not sure though. But they look kind of impressive to me.

yes, Heavenly Creatures was a drama about two girls who kill the mother of one of them... Terrible...

Also I think Peter Jackson was director of The Frighteners starring Michael J. Fox
