Yeah, I got this idea from Mihara of Yeldar, when they wanted feedback for their book, but it was a good idea, and so I'm doing it too.

I'm writing a series of books that take place in a small seaside town at a local tavern called Cat's-The Only Place for Non-Normals (normals also welcome). The reason why it's called that is because the regulars there are mainly, well, non-normal. For example, the main characters of the books are a couple of wizards, a vampiress, a werewolf, a man who is blest with incredible luck, a woman who has multiple personalities, and a half-elf sorceress. The series basically deals with how the group handles different foes who attack the town and tavern as well as their own personal lives and problems. Sound interesting to anyone?

charachters sound ok, not a really big fan of the name, and im also not a fan of books that take place all in the same place, i like it better when they go on quests and adventures

They would eventually. The first few books would take place in the same general area for set up of characters, plot, etc. all leading up to the quests and adventures. I'm big on detail and backround story and such.

you also have alot of main characters listed, are these like the characters in the fellowship were there is a few that stand out, if not it is kind of overwhelming to have so many main characters

Yes, it is. There will be a few who stand out more than the others, and I'm hoping that that group will rotate from book to book. One story will focus more on this group, the next one those, so on and so forth.

Sounds good to me, how far are you in writing them?

Right now, I've got two basically written. I'm going to go back through them and do some editing, so I guess they aren't quite finished yet. I am also working on a third right now.
I'm writing the first three all at once in order to keep facts consistent and such, because these three sort of set the stage for the rest of the series. I have some great ideas for the future books. :)
