a whole bottle? every night? i don't think that's normal, but i've never drank myself(if i did i'd be under age) and i've never really been around people who drink.

It isn't a drinking problem if you can stop whenever you want to. Try a week or two with no alcohol at all and then you'll know whether you've got a problem or not.

I am very fond of wine and my husband and I usually shares a bottle or two or three during the weekend. But I think a bottle of wine a day is too much, and anyway it's too expensive here. The average price is about 12 Euro pr. bottle.

Is that the only thing you drink? No beers after that, or whiskey on the side?

I used to drink a lot when I first left home, but I think that was a counter-reaction to my strict parents more than anything.

Artanis is right, it's not a problem if oyu can stop when ever you want.
i like to drink, and im underage, my resoning is, if it's going to kill me when im 21, it's going to kill me when im 16. so why not? my resoning is the same with smoking except that i thihnk it's dirty no matter what age you are. everything is a bit more fun with some shots of Liquor in ya!

BTW, what is the drinking age where everyone is from??
in the US it's 21, but you can find shady places that'll sell you stuff if your underage.

New Zealand used to be 21, then 20, now it's 18 due to the unpopular political party wanting to garner more votes from the teenage sector. Didn't work. :p

Usually wine is the only thing yes. When the kids are all finally in bed we sit together and talk and enjoy the taste of a good red wine.
Beers after wine isn't any good for my stomach. None of us like whisky (except in Irish coffee).

This is at home with kids in. Party is another story. :D
BTW, what is the drinking age where everyone is from?? Beer and wine is 18, anything stronger is 20.

I think drinking is allowed after 18 here. But no one enforces it on beer.

I learned to drink at home at 12 or 13 with my dad. I didn't start drinking with friends until I was 16 at freshman college which was a 6 hr trip from home. I stopped when I started working because there was no time.

I only started drinking a lot again with my offficemates a month or 2 ago when I stopped taking my post-graduate course and I found out I had more time.

I am, however, not an alchoholic. I can stop whenever I want.

Wine? Yuck.

Beer? Yuck.

Eight double-vodkas straight? It's the only way.

The last time I was smashed, or even slightly tipsy, was last year.
