But not light brown, or yellowy-brown; it has to be that deep, rich reddish (but not too reddish) dark brown. I want a dress that colour.

i love white. Like to wear it a lot my gf says it brings out my eyes but its so hard to keep clean :(. Black is also very slimming. I bought myself a nice black 16v clio the other day for when i pass my test. Grey is also nice. i like most colours they all pretty much suite me.

Cerulean. It's one of those obscure siblings of blue, like aquamarine. At least, it was my favorite when I used crayons... shoulda kept one.

That depends on what spectrum you're using I think. On the paint(?) spectrum, white is the absence of color. On the light spectrum, black is the absence of light (color).

I like cloudy skies and all... but a pink and purple and orange sunset is so much more beautiful... so I think. Gandalf the Grey (or, even, White, if you fancy) is my favorite Tolkien character... that doesn't mean that I have to like his color, does it?

Sure, a sunset may be more beautiful, but the point I was trying to make is that grey isn't boring.
And you don't necessarily need to like that color, but it would make you a better person if you did (actually, no promises on that :rolleyes: ). You don't have to like the color yourself, just acknowledge that it's there, and that you can see how other people could like it. That is all I ask.

Why would people like brown? See, I don't like brown because it's simply not my kind of color. Secondly, when I was playing Prospero in 'The Tempest' I had to wear a brown wool cape with fur around the neck and a clasp in the front. I also had to wear three layers (each having some kind of brown in them) under that and then go advertise the show out in the blaring sun. So I have an especial reason to hate brown.

I used to really, really love chocolate... I like gray and brown. Though I like gray better...they are my 4th and 5th favorite colors. My other ones are violet, white, green and blue. All shades of blue, like the sea. All shades of green, too, excecpt golf-course green, as Lizra said.

My favourtite colour is red. There are a number of reasons for this but the main one is that when I first went to primary school we had coloured "teams". I was in the red team. Also I have "red" hair - well it is more ginger/auburn but whatever. Red is the colour of passion and fury and I have a temper. I like red because it is so vibrant.

i don't have a favorite colour, because when i think of colour, i don't just think of one as being better than another. I prefer to think of things as being colourful, and all the colours in a certain object/scene/world contrasting off one another and blending is what makes colour such a beautiful thing. Like when you think of a sunset, or the ocean, or the city at night , it's not one particular colour that stands superior to another, its all of them that make it what it is.
example : a flower isn't just made up of one colour, it's made up of thousands, and thats part of what makes it beautiful.

Hmmm... I don't like any color... Black's a shade, not a color, and Silver has no color but reflects other colors....

Black has been my favorite... it's not a color... ummm.... I dunno what else to call it so I'll say Black has been my favorite color since I was 3. Then my favorite color went to Red when I was 8, and now it's back to black. And silver is another favorite "color". But since neither black nor silver are colors, I'll say my fav color is burgundy
